Chapter 54: Mistborn Shelter
Mistborn shelter was present near the Monkline mountains. It was a purple stage shelter in a cave behind a waterfall that hid it perfectly.
A space broke apart and a figure was thrown out of it.
The force of ejection from the rift was light so he landed perfectly on the ground.
The floor was similar to the ascended platform at the teleporter tower.
Black Stone walls were implanted with magic stones which chased away the darkness.
There were two asuras standing nearby talking to each other. When Rio arrived from the space rift they just glanced at him for a second and continued their talk. They appeared to be in charge of guarding the room.
Rio hurriedly walked out of there as he wanted to go to his destination without wasting time.
Outside of the room had a narrow corridor that was three-way out.
He didn't think much and took the middle one.
It led him to the entrance of the shelter which was in the shape of the thorns stabbed to the ground and the cave ceiling as if beast teeth were closed together.
Two of asura's warriors were standing there and guarding the entrance.
They saw a blonde-haired boy coming in their direction. One of the guards tapped a fist-size button on the wall as he was assigned this task by his superiors.
Thorn-like barrier retreated and the entrance was big opened for Rio.
He could hear the water hitting the surface outside.
He walked out of the cave and saw a mesmerizing scene in front of him.
A gigantic waterfall welcomed his sight. A hazy mist formed all around its surroundings and caused streams of water to form into a river.
It was a magnificent sight to behold.
He moved ahead but couldn't avoid getting wet due to the mist which drenched his clothes.
The warmth of the sun invaded his body as he stood near a place where he didn't get affected by the waterfall or its mist.
The Mistborn Shelter was hidden behind the waterfall in a cave.
He could see the river going towards the south. His left and right had mountains as It appeared to be a valley.
He didn't know which way to go.
'Ahhh… I forgot to ask the location of the yellow tower of an outcast from this shelter.'
He scratched his head embarrassingly.
"Hey, Lia???" He sent her a telepathy message.
"Have you finally remembered?" Her amusing voice was heard in his thoughts.
"What remember? I was just missing my beautiful Wifey." He refused to accept as he really did forget to inquire about it.
"You don't have to butter me. Just go 150 steps to the East and look for another cave. Go inside until you find a stone button. Tap it once to open the door which will lead you to the outside." She instructed him as she was well aware of his intention behind the sweet talking to avoid embarrassment.
She knew that he didn't ask her about the location of his destination. She also didn't bother to tell him as she wanted him to contact her.
Although he could ask the warriors at the mistborn shelter but She believed he would rather ask her.
"Okay, thanks. I'm going." He started counting his steps 'one' 'two' 'three' and moved towards the east.
Soon, he found the cave as it was a small entrance. Barely one person could enter this hole in the wall.
He walked inside and followed the narrow path.
It was illuminated by magic stones which were placed 10 meters gaps as if there were to light up the path and show direction.
After going for fifteen minutes, he saw a fist size button on the wall similar to a mistborn shelter.
He tapped it and a staircase ascended from the ground an opening was revealed at the end of the stair which was very high from the ground.
He climbed the stairs and came out of the door which was at the very top of the cave.
His eyes were invaded by sunlight which made his face scrunched. The sudden bright light after coming out of almost a Dark cave caused this.
This entrance was also hidden by a waterfall. He couldn't stop getting wet again and escaped the area to avoid it.
The entrance behind him close after he walked out.
In front of him was another river with a valley.
"There is a river outside the cave you told me to enter. Where should I go now?" He asked her via telepathy.
"Follow the river and you will find the yellow tower of the Outcast shelter. Be careful of the beasts lurking near the area." Lia warned him about the danger.
"Thanks. I'll go now." He said to her with a sweet voice and started walking carefully at the edges of the river.
