Chapter 275

275- Becoming Vindictive for The Smallest Grudge (睚眦必报)

Jing Yun Zhao’s arms were so slim and slender to the point that it gave off the impression that her arms would break at the slightest force; just by looking at her frail figure would cause a person’s heart to tremble with distress.

Since she had fair skin, the cigarette scars were more noticeable, with a glance, seven to eight cigarette scars could be seen scattered around her arms that were a few years old. Adding on to the fact that she could’ve gotten serious injuries when she was burnt by the cigarette.

With the display of the cigarette scars, the reporter asking the questions became speechless.

A 16 year old girl that is in her prime, yet she has such noticeable scars? No wonder she wore such conservative clothing.

With that, the reporter gulped and retracted the microphone.

The surrounding area became so silent that you could hear a pin drop.

The group of people had never experienced such a weird situation, they went as a large group to find trouble for a little girl, yet here they are, with each of their remarks getting refuted to the point that they were speechless. When the little girl spoke, her words had some type of power, causing a sense of guilt to surface in the hearts of the listeners. When she spoke, she didn’t scream or cry, she only spoke with a slight smile on her face, causing the group of people to be at a loss for words.

Normally, when the group of reporters interviews someone, the accused would start crying to show how pitiful and wronged they were when they see the camera whether they were guilty or not.

However Jing Yun Zhao’s action was just too abnormal.

“JING YUN ZHAO! Stop spouting bullshit! How could you be so spiteful? If you’ve really been wronged, why didn’t you tell anyone about it!? Instead, now you speak nonsense in front of so many people, you truly are ungrateful!” Qiao Wei Min shouted as he pointed at Jing Yun Zhao.

“I didn’t find help from anybody else as I knew that they couldn’t care less about helping me. Adding on to the fact that in everybody’s heart, you can do no wrong and are always right just because you chose to do a good deed more than a decade ago, even if you’ve done so many disgusting acts, they won’t blame you. That’s why I kept my silence.” Jing Yun Zhao refuted.

However it was different now, as the reporters were like a double-edge sword; if they can ruin her, they can also ruin the Qiao Family.

Hearing Jing Yun Zhao speak of such heartwrenching matters with a smile caused pain in the onlookers’ hearts.

Meanwhile, Su Chu’s tears kept leaking out as she felt extremely hurt for Jing Yun Zhao, while Xiao Hai Qing’s eyes were red as she saw the resemblance of her father who wasn’t there for her while looking at Qiao Wei MIn.

“I-It’s not true, why would you do this to me sister? Clearly all these photos are forgeries made by you…” Qiao Hong Ye said as she cried while shaking her head pitifully.

“Whether these are forgeries or not, you can all go to the police station and ask to see if I’m right!” Jing Yun Zhao said coldly.

Qiao Hong Ye felt her legs turn to jelly as she heard what Jing Yun Zhao said.

Why is the situation developing into the opposite direction? When did Jing Yun Zhao become so eloquent? How could she still maintain her calm when she’s facing so many people?

Also, all these photos, why would she carry it with her?

All it took was for Jing Yun Zhao to say something wrong then it would’ve been favourable for me. In fact, if she had scolded the reporters, then cried a bit and wasn’t so calm in her replies, then rumours of her being unfilial would spread to the point that she wouldn’t be able to clear her name even if she had five mouths. This would’ve been the chance for me to clear my name and tarnish her reputation even more!

Yet the end result was like this?

Qiao Hong Ye was stunned silly, while Qiao Wei Min still hadn’t fully grasped the situation. Although he was confused, he knew he couldn’t beat Jing Yun Zhao in a battle of wits so he grabbed the nearest reporter and screamed, “Why are you still letting her spout nonsense? Call her to reflect and apologize?!”

The reporter’s mouth twitched, then she moved to the side to let the others move out of the place.

I have no right to ask any questions anymore, let me digest the information that Jing Yun Zhao gave first, then we can talk!

Additionally, the reporter was truly shocked when she saw the scars on the legs and arms of Jing Yun Zhao. After all, she was only 16! The reporter couldn’t understand how a child could endure such abuse…
