Chapter 657: Chapter 651 – Star Field Below

After passing through a long hallway, the humanoid simulation guide smiled and said to Finn Lewis, “Your Highness, please go inside and remove all of your clothes. Once your testing is finished, you will be assigned a personal brain device.”

“Alright.” Finn nodded and walked straight in.

The room was pure white, and only contained a bed that resembled a hospital examination table. Assuming that such a place wouldn’t pose any problems, Finn quickly undressed completely.

Once undressed, a gentle voice spoke, “Your Highness, welcome to the real-name registration. Please lie down on the bed. We will analyze your genetic code to ascertain your identity.”

Finn nodded, quickly laying down on the bed overhead. As soon as he lay down, a crack silently appeared on the ground near his right hand, and a robotic arm extended from it. It swiftly approached the Five-clawed Golden Dragon Emblem on Finn’s right wrist.

Two lights, one red and one green, swept over the arm. The gentle voice echoed again, “Hello, Your Highness Finn Lewis. You have passed the initial check. We will now collect your genetic information. Please do not resist. We have also detected a protective device within your body, please discontinue its defensive measures.”

Finn was somewhat surprised. He hadn’t expected the Kemiya protective suit to be detected here. After all, no one had detected its existence anywhere else before.

“It’s fine, you can begin.” While Finn wasn’t entirely familiar with the operational mechanism of the Kaemiya Protective Suit, he knew that it was intelligently programmed to avoid obstructing harmless attempts. Soon, two robotic arms, each with a metal probe, appeared beside Finn’s head.

The thin metal probe moved towards Finn’s neck. Even though it was somewhat frightening, Finn had the strength to endure it. Following a slight sting, similar to a mosquito bite, the slender probe had penetrated into Finn’s neck.

Simultaneously, the entire room turned light blue. The source of the light blue hue was undetectable, as numerous light beams started scanning Finn’s body from all around the room. At the same time, a three-dimensional human form started taking shape above Finn’s matrix.

Finn watched with fascination as the figure materialized bit by bit, starting from the feet. The figure seemed to be composed of countless numbers and took about 20 minutes to fully form. Once completed, the blue scanning lights disappeared, and the metal probe in Finn’s neck had been retracted.

“Your Highness, as a nine-star royal, your personal brain device belongs to the highest level.” Following the gentle voice, an unknown location within the Heritage System fell into intense trembles, activating a myriad of lights on a desolate, black planet.

As the tremors intensified, a huge black metal door on the planet’s surface began to slowly open. Blue lights sparkled in the dark opening, and as the metal gate, at least a few dozen kilometers in diameter, fully opened, a dark battleship flew out directly from within.

The battleship was shuttle-shaped with an impeccably smooth exterior. It entered the warp state the second its rear engines left the planet’s vicinity, disappearing instantaneously into the cosmos. The black metal door on the planet continued to blink, gradually closing.

Soon, the entire planet returned to its original darkness, as if the recent changes had never transpired. In the silent, cosmic space, no one knew what had occurred here.

The black battleship, which had entered warp state, reappeared in a quiet, dark, and vast space, seemingly devoid of all matter and belonging to the realm between minor planetary systems within the Heritage System.

From a human’s perspective on Earth, it would be considered a void. Within the command cabin of the black battleship appeared a star map on a console screen. If anyone from Earth had seen this map, they would have undoubtedly identified it as a map of the Solar System!

According to the star map displayed on the screen, the ship was just 0.01 light-years away from this stellar system.

After extremely precise calculations, the rear of the black battleship burst into a violent blue light, increasing the ship’s speed drastically. It, however, did not enter warp mode again. Before long, a black planet surfaced ahead of it in the distance.

The planet didn’t belong to any star’s orbit. It wandered in the desolate cosmic space, until it was detected by the battleship. As the lights on the ship flickered, two small spaceships were dispatched from within the battleship and began to descend towards the planet.

Meanwhile, back in the Heritage Star region, Finn Lewis had just completed his tests and received his personal brain device. Prodigal

Finn curiously studied the box in front of him. About the size of a laptop on Earth and only a few centimeters thick, it contained two items. One looked like an earpiece, but was far smaller and could be implanted next to a person’s ear.

The other was the size of a smartphone, but its capabilities far surpassed that of any phone. From three-dimensional projections to virtual imaging, it had it all. This device was Finn’s assigned personal brain and was already activated. Finn took it out from the box.

Turning on the smartphone-like device, a beautiful lady appeared on the screen. She bowed to Finn and said with a sweet smile, “Your Highness, I am your assigned personal brain device. Please give me a name.”

Finn felt a headache coming on. Naming was something he disliked, apparent by his previous choices like Olivia Thatcher. To him, naming was an exceedingly difficult task.
