Chapter 211 - 210: ' A Month of Freedom'
"Wow, you all look… good," the female said sarcastically as Dared and the others arrived.
"Hm," Dared grunted, glancing at the others. They actually didn't look bad at all.
Their attire clung to their bodies, fitting them perfectly. More importantly, it didn't feel heavy in the slightest.
"I wonder what material this is," Dared pondered as their Cosmic Executioner finished eating the fruits and stood up.
"Follow me," she commanded as she led the way, the rest trailing behind her.
They soon left the area—and to their surprise, they were heading straight toward the inner city.
They weren't alone either. Other groups, each led by their own Cosmic Executioner, could be seen converging on the same path.
Just before reaching the inner city, they encountered a grand building—majestic and elegant, surrounded by sculptures of various races.
"Today, you will receive your first official mission," spoke the strongest among the ten Cosmic Executioners—the one in charge of Jake and the rest of the top nine.

In the Inner City...
Linkir arrived, and the others welcomed her with nods of acknowledgment.
"Void has officially handed control over to us," Linkir began. "All we need to do now is infiltrate the Human Federation. Among the survivors, most come from prestigious families or renowned organizations. Let them all return to the outside world.
Once they do, everyone will be shocked by who survived. And as for the powerful organizations that lost their own? They'll be enraged."
Linkir paused for a moment as Alayot continued in her place.
"The Federation will spiral into disarray. Everyone will rush to question the survivors about what really happened inside. And the more they talk, the more fear they'll spread. Eventually, suspicion will turn into hatred—aimed at the survivors and their families. freewёbnoνel.com
They'll be accused of colluding with us. Even if the Federation manages to regain control... the seed of doubt will have already taken root," Alayot said with a smile.
"The rage will remain. The hatred will grow. And worst of all, they won't trust each other anymore," Nephem added with a slight smile, reclining with ease.
"I'm impressed, honestly," Sword Demon said with a grin.
"This is just the start," Nix chimed in. "Their next mission is critical. I've been receiving reports of a chaotic race awakening in the far north. But the Federation isn't taking it seriously—they believe the strongest among them is only at the Legendary Realm."
She laughed softly.
"Void made the right call by telling those at Rank 0 to hide. Now, the Federation thinks this new 'Demonic Race' is just another creation from within the multiverse. After all, they're already displaying power at the highest level. Why would a mere Legendary Realm creature concern them?" Junnie commented, earning laughter from the group.
"The demon race joined them—but I'm puzzled about one thing," Sword Demon said. "Won't multi-universal-level beings trace them back to outside this multiverse? Even if you three and our master—Void—hide them, they might trace the link back to you. They already suspect your human disguises and they know we are from outside of this multi universe."
Alayot stood, addressing his concern.
"Exactly. But you're forgetting—these beings weren't created by us or even by our master. They come from the Abyss. And what does the Abyss do? It invades. Since we never exposed ourselves from the start, the Abyss will take the blame and shield them.
The multi-universal beings won't find out," Alayot said with a smirk.
At Rank 3—or the multi-universal realm—tampering with fate and destiny is trivial. Such beings can easily peer into a creature's past and even kill them from it, affecting their present and future.
That's why starting from Rank 2, killing someone in their past won't erase them entirely, but it will weaken them. Once a being reaches Quasi-Rank 3, their past, present, and future begin to fuse. Killing their past self strips them of their origin, weakening their future self.
With both past and present gone, the future becomes meaningless—rendering the future self as weak as an ant and on the brink of death.
That is the terrifying power of beings who exist outside time and space.
"Well, I'll be back. I need to reinforce something," Alayot said as he walked away.
"Alright, everyone should now understand the nearest layout. Nephem, inform them," Linkir instructed.
"Aye, aye, captain," Nephem saluted with a grin before walking out.

Back at the Cosmic Execution Grounds...
"You've met him before. And now, you'll meet him again—ah, wait, no need," the First Cosmic Executioner began. He then looked up at the sky, nodded, and turned his gaze to the others.
"Orders from the Chain of Madness. You are all free to go—for one month. Visit your families, or familiarize yourselves with the organization. Report back in a month's time."
And with that, the ten Cosmic Executioners vanished, leaving the one hundred Dreadborne stunned and confused.
"Wait... isn't the whole point of this trial to sever our family ties and purge our human emotions? Then why are they letting us leave? Is this a test? A goal? A trap?" Jake wondered, frowning.
"This organization doesn't follow its own rules… First, they strip away our emotions through brutal trials, and now they want us to return to our families? What are they playing at?" Dared thought, stunned.
He wasn't alone. Many were baffled by the move. But while most speculated about the purpose behind it, a few had different thoughts entirely.
"Great! I can finally see my brother again... I endured everything to get stronger and protect him. That's my purpose. Nothing can change it," Nim thought, clenching his fists.
"Back to the royal family, huh? I want to see their faces... So many talented members died. Will they dare retaliate? Or will they stay quiet, knowing we're now a hundred times stronger than others at our realm?" a distant royal thought excitedly.
"Oh, I can't wait to tell him… We can be together now, here, in this organization. I can cancel that damn contracted marriage. But the consequences for my family... I...
Do I care?
No. They made their choice—against my happiness. Now I'll make mine, even if it destroys them," Liya thought coldly.
