Beastmen Love

After the duel, Astri’s spouses are constantly curious to know more about her fighting skills. That same night Cyprian stole her away after she finished breastfeeding Yuki. He gave the cubs and Yuki to Wayde, Zin, Lee, and Claud to take care of because he knew he wouldn’t be quiet enough to not wake them up.

On the next day, having breakfast, they’re staring at Astri.

"You’re freaking me out staring at me like that." She says to them.

"Can you show us some of your movements? I mean, I never saw something like that. It’s brilliant!" Lee speaks.

"Yes, I want to learn too." Wayde says.

"What? It’s just using the other’s strength against them. You know how to do that." Astri speaks.

"Not the way you do." Cyprian says.

"Astri couldn’t shift before. She just had to use other’s strength against them to survive. We have the strength to survive so we simply rely on our strength. She had to learn to think before acting. That’s the main difference." Claud explains.

"Still, it’s good learning to think the way she thinks. It might help us in the future." Wayde speaks.

Astri sighs and agrees with them. It’s actually good to see them wanting to learn different ways to do the same thing.

They meet after breakfast in the backyard. She chuckles watching them in line waiting for her, even Claud is there.

The cubs are quietly under a tree near them.

"So, my dear students. You wish to learn how to fight. Is that it?" She asks like an old master.

They chuckle and affirm together.

"I know all of us have a natural strength. We’re beasts otherwise. However, there’s always someone stronger than us, and not always we can defeat them. So it’s not only a matter of strength. She takes a rock and shows it to them.

"What will happen if I release this rock?" She asks.

"It will fall." Lee answers.

"Exactly. This is called gravity. It is the force that happens to every living or nonliving thing. If I jump, I’ll go back to the ground. If I jump from the tree, I’ll fall to the ground. Why is this a force? What is easier to do? Go up or go down?"

"Go down." Zin says.

"Good. It’s easier to push up, or to push down?"

"Push down." Cyprian answers.

"You all got my point. Now, what is easier? Attacking from up or from down?"

"From up." They answer together.

"What am I even doing here?" She jokes and they giggle.

"Keep going!" Lee says.

"All right. There’s something that always happens. Every action has a reaction. When you use someone’s movements or strength, you’re redirecting the reaction." She explains.

She calls Galion with her hand and he walks to her. He was listening from the side all the time, also interested in what she was teaching.

"Try touching me." She says to Galion.

"What?"

"Just touch me."

Galion raises his hand to touch her shoulder, she moves and grabs his thumb and contort it making him lower down his head. Everyone is impressed.

"Now slowly." She says and gestures Galion to try again.

She shows the movement slowly so they see what she did.

"I understand now. The reaction would be you falling after being pushed, but you redirected his movement and the reaction was felt by him." Claud speaks.

"Exactly. You try." She tells all of them to try on each other, but they could understand better when they practice with her.

They keep training together. Astri’s spouses are delighted to feel closer to her and learn from her.

Astri goes to bathe while her spouses are gathered in the living room.

"The day after tomorrow I want to bring Astri somewhere. I’ll bring 8 guards with us to keep us surrounded and protected. Then I want to spend the night with her too when we come back." Claud tells them.

They agree with letting Claud be the first without needing to pick the longer stick. After remembering Astri’s wide knowledge, Wayde looks at Claud again.

"Do you know where she’s from? You got in her mind many times." Wayde asks Claud.

Claud sighs. He always knew this day would come.

"Don’t get angry with her. I asked her to not tell anyone about this because they would think she was crazy. But her father used so much energy to protect her, that he sent her to another world." Claud says.

"What do you mean by another world?" Zin asks.

"It’s somewhere completely different from what we know or have seen. I had to use all my strength to bring her back from there. It’s a world where there’s no beastmen, only people in human form and animals without special souls. They’re more advanced and some have great intelligence, like Astri."

"So... what she said about being slaved was a lie?" Lee asks.

"No. She adapted the story. Astri doesn’t know to lie, she didn’t lie. Astri went through hard things in the other world. Everything she told you happened."

They look down thinking deeply.

"The world she was sent to has its own bad sides and she had to face them alone. She had to learn to survive on her own, to protect herself, and to live alone. The worst part was not feeling part of that world because she was a beast like us. Here she had to learn to be like us, but she’s happy. She doesn’t miss the world if it’s that what you’re worried about." Claud says.

"My thoughts haven’t changed. No matter what she is or where she comes from. I’ll be with her forever." Wayde affirms.

"Me too." The others say smiling.

"It made her who she is. And she’s bringing good things to this world in many ways." Claud says.

On the next day, Claud tells Astri that her other spouses know that she came from another world. Of course, all of them know they can’t mention that to anyone else.

"What you did used to work with when you were a slave?" Lee asks her.

They were sitting at the dinning table having breakfast.

"In a bar. It’s a place people go to eat and drink a kind of beverage that makes them delusional or speak like idiots." Astri answers.

"Delusional?" Zin asks.

"Yes. I learned how to fight because of places like that. Males would drink those beverages and think they could grab my butt or breasts. So I had to kick them out and not let them force me into anything."

They got shocked, imagining that world was way harder to survive than they imagined.

"But I learned good skills. I can carry 13 mugs at the same time." She giggles.

"Wait. Males treat females like that in the other world?" Cyprian asks.

"Not all of them. But females are not rare there and also if they mate they’re not bound to each other forever. I always felt like I would die alone because I didn’t like the way they live. Finding someone who really loves you and won’t use you just for pleasure is a hard thing there."

"So they mate with many...? Have you...?" Lee asks.

"No. My first was Wayde."

She laughs when they give a relived sigh.

"I’m happy I’m not there anymore. Even if it was a more advanced world, I was never happy there. You make me happy and heal me every day." She says.

They look at her so in love with her that she even blushes.

"We need to thank Claud for getting Astri back and giving us the chance to meet the love of our lives." Cyprian says.

"Thank you, Claud." They speak together.

Astri hugs Claud’s arm and kisses his cheek.

"You’re the reason we’re all happy." She says to him.

He actually doesn’t care if all of them are happy, he only cares about her. But he knows that she’s happy because all of them are happy, too.
