Beastmen Love

After several days, life looks amazing. Yuki is already crawling everywhere and her brothers follow her all the time to keep her safe. Now that the’re more independent and Yuki is eating more from normal food and fruits, she only breastfeeds to sleep sometimes.

Astri trains her powers everyday and she’s getting more and more powerful. However,since she can’t show her powers and neither her beast form, she decides to train the use of a spear.

She makes a long spear and trains to use it for protection. As she’s training, watched by her children, Claud and Cyprian, they hear Wayde calling for Astri. He runs to her proudly and shows his arm to her.

"I got one more mark. I have 8 marks now." He says happily.

"Wayde! That’s amazing! Congratulations!" Astri says happily and jumps hugging him.

Wayde hugs her happy too, he’s in the same level as Zin and Lee, finally. He always trained hard to get stronger and feel more capable to protect her.

He crashes his lips on hers and suck her hair out, he shifts and runs to the house carrying her roaring loud.

Cyprian and Claud understood that he doesn’t want anyone going inside the bedroom until they’re done.

"It was Lee’s turn. He will make a fuss." Cyprian says.

"He will understand." Claud speaks.

Wayde puts Astri on the bed and then shifts again to lock the door. He will go to bed and kisses her deeply.

"You have no idea how happy I feel about getting stronger. Because if I’m stronger I can protect you more. I can keep you safe. I want to become stronger every day to always make you sure that you and our cubs will be safe." He says.

"I know, my love. And I feel the happiest to have you to protect our family. But remember that what I love the most about you and the others is not the fact you protect me from enemies, but because you protect my heart and soul. When you get stronger for us, you get our love stronger." She speaks.

He kisses her so happily and hungry to have her in many ways. He knows he will face Lee later, but he couldn’t hold up.

Wayde has a special place in Astri’s heart. Not in a way she loves him more than the others. He was the first one she actually opened herself to trust and actually live the love of having a spouse.

When Lee arrives at home he looks around after Astri, and gets angry when Cyprian tells him she’s with Wayde in the bedroom.

"That filthy cat wants to impregnate her again? It was my turn!" Lee says annoyed.

"Understand the situation. He was excited because he has eight marks now. I’m sure that when you get your ninth you will act the same way." Claud speaks.

Lee bites his tongue. Claud always bring the truth to the table.

"You’re right. I would. All right! I’ll understand this time." Lee says annoyed.

Claud closes his eyes and then decides to check King Tyr’s mind. The King of Beasts. He was wondering how things were going after he left.

Claud’s mind travels far and finds the Great Palace of the Great Wall City, however he doesn’t find the king there. He gets inside the mind of a palace worker and finds out that Tyr traveled to the direction of the Stone Moon Tribe and Red Eagle Tribe.

Now they call themselves United Tribes, because many tribes got together to become stronger and now they’re becoming a city of beasts. However the highest leaders are Shung and Lee.

Claud travels in their direction until he finds Tyr. He’s traveling with around 150 beastmen and he could see in his mind that he’s angry that another city is being formed without his consent.

"The Higher Priest left and created a new city, who everyone is saying is impenetrable. He clearly wanted to dethrone me. I’ll find this city and if they don’t want to face death, they will have to have me there." Tyr speaks.

It’s not a surprise for Claud that Tyr would act someday, but the fear of bringing someone who wants power near Astri is scary for him.

Claud opens his eyes and looks at Cyprian and Lee.

"The king is coming and not for a friendly visit." Claud says.

They become serious too.

"We must gather the others and think about how to face that lion." Lee speaks.

After Wayde and Astri are done, Wayde is helping clean her in the bathroom, taking water and throwing slowly on her body.

"Hum.. How delicious." Lee says after poking his face inside the bathroom.

"Lee! Welcome home, love." Astri says and goes kiss his him.

He wraps his arms around her kissing her.

"Female, don’t tempt me right after you mated. Delicious little thing." Lee speaks with lustful eyes.

She giggles and takes the towel to cover herself.

"Even if I want to rip that towel, come Wayde. We must gather. Urgent meeting. Claud gathered his guards too." Lee says.

Just hearing that made Wayde and Astri know it is something serious. Astri and Wayde get dressed and go join the meeting.

Astri asks Kai and Elias to take care of Yuki inside the bedroom. She doesn’t want them to feel scared with what they might hear, but this time she feels she needs to join this meeting too.

She sees Zin arriving and offer him a beverage to sit around the table with the others, and welcomes him with a kiss too.

"I searched for the king today and I discovered he’s heading here with at least 150 beatmen." Claud says.

"We have more than him, but we must be careful either way. I know his tactics and strategy of battle." Lee speaks.

"He’s coming here to take us down or be welcomed here as the King. He wants to show he has the power. I was expecting he would come, but I believe he will avoid a war with the winter so near. He will arrive in 30 days. Winter is in 60 at least." Claud says.

"What is the best plan? Our priority is protecting Lady Astri and you. We could take you two away to wait for him to leave." Galion speaks.

"If he finds out I left, he might attack the people just to make sure they will follow his orders. We can’t lose the power we have." Claud says.

"What are the chances that he will attack? And what exactly we need to do for him to not attack?" Wayde asks.

"I cannot assure you this. He might change his thoughts tomorrow or not. For now there’s a high chance of attack if we do not welcome him here as owner of these lands."

Astri is quiet, hearing them, but also hearing Nature. Now she listens to it’s signals and energies, and let it talk to her by flowing inside of her.

Claud looks at Astri and can see she’s talking to Nature. Between all of them, he knows better when she’s with Nature.

"Astri? Do you want to say something?" Claud asks her, calling everyone’s attention to her.

She keeps quiet hearing Nature for some seconds.

"Not everyone here is up to fight against the King if not knowing every detail of our side. Even if we have power, the King also has and his political power is stronger. He’s a symbol even if not as powerful as Claud. The people we can trust that will fight him is in this room and we can’t afford putting all of you to fight a war." She says.

"And what do you think we must do? What Nature is telling you?" Claud asks.

"Let him come. Welcome him. Let him believe he has some power over us. To who is better for him to ally? Us or the monsters?"

"I was thinking the same thing. Some of the Elders are trying to partner with Monsters. Mostly to take me down. You know that. What will be different now?"

"What? What is it? Stop with this energy talking and talk to us." Lee says annoyed.

"Nature is telling us to show her to the King." Claud softly speaks.

"What do you mean show her? No! It’s risky. He might want to aim on her and try to take her, or kill her so he doesn’t have others to share power." Wayde says.

"I’m not someone to question Nature, but I must admit I fear doing this."

"It’s because it’s too dangerous! We won’t do this." Lee says.

Cyprian and Zin are quiet, but their faces also show they don’t agree with exposing her.

"I think that we need to hear Nature. The King wants power, we must discover for what and why he wants to kill someone important as Claud. I can discover his reasons with Nature. If he’s already a corrupted soul, we need to get rid of him and find a new a King." She says.

"The Elders control him. That’s why he wants to get rid of me." Claud speaks.

"Then we must show him that he’s being a toy and not a King as he’s imagining. If I show myself to him in the right time, he will have to think what is best to partner with. With Nature or with Monsters."

All of them are quiet, understanding her point but still not entirely comfortable with that.

"Everyone will learn about you. It’s too dangerous, my love." Cyprian says.

"I won’t expose myself to everyone. To him alone. Showing him we trust him, he will feel obligated to do something and that’s when we will know his true motives." Astri explains.

"All right.. I’ll trust Nature. It will make things clear indeed and if we can decide once and for all if this King is evil or not will be good not only for us but to everyone." Claud speaks.

"Astri can purify energies. If he’s not completely corrupted he might change and even get rid of The Elders." Cyprian says.

Astri nods. Zin, Lee and Wayde end up agreeing too.

"He’s not allowed to touch you even if it’s for purifying him. He can rot for all I care." Lee says to her.

She smiles.

"You know I can learn a lot about someone by shaking hands." She says.

"I’ll cut his hand off and give it to you to shake."

She giggles rolling her eyes. They’re all very protective, but she doesn’t mind it. She trusts them, and probably wouldn’t meddle if Nature didn’t tell her to do so.

She must admit she’s not entirely sure of how things will be with the King, but she hopes for the best.
