Beastmen Love

Astri lets them talk, and goes with the kids to the bedroom. She leaves the kids playing on the bed and goes bathe.

Thankfully, the boys love to play with Yuki and they work together to help her when she rolls to where she wasn’t supposed to go. However, Astri can keep an eye on them from the bathtub, so she doesn’t worry.

Zin slowly left the living room and went to the bathroom with her. He knew he would find her in the bathtub, so he asks to bathe with her.

It’s a bit cramped with both inside the bathtub, but she lets him come inside and helps him by rubbing his back.

It’s not a sexual moment, even if he drools everytime he sees her naked, and he enjoys her caring moment for him.

Before, he would always get nervous with her being so nice to him, but now he enjoys it as his self-esteem grows.

From nowhere she stops and he finds it a bit weird, when he looks at her he’s faced with those eyes that look like stars moving.

"Astri.." He holds her face to ask if she’s all right, but when he touches her his eyes goes blank for a moment.

He’s taken to outside the rock walls, inside the royal tent where Elder Abel is.

"Go back first, fast, and let the others know that King Tyr must be taken down. He got infatuated by the Higher Priest’s mate and now they’re allies. Our plan is not going to work with him anymore." Elder Abel whispers to a small man, probably a monkey race for having long arms and legs.

"Yes, my lord."

"Don’t let anyone see you leaving. If you see any Monster, let them know that they need to take this female to really weaken this place." Elder Abel whispers again.

A murderous feeling grew inside of Zin when he heard about someone aiming to kill Astri. From nowhere his eyes go blank again and then he looks at Astri in front of him.

"You saw it?" She asks him.

"Yes. We must tell the others right away. We need to kill these two. He wants to kill you, so I’ll killhim first." Zin says, serious.

She sighs. She doesn’t like to decide for something like this, but apparently she can’t be neutral all the time and let her spouses take the lead all the time.

"Let’s go. I was planning on sucking you here, but that will have to wait." She says standing up.

Zin’s breath caught on his throat. He stands up even more livid.

"I’ll kill him myself now." He says, making her giggle.

They dress, then go back to the living room.

"You pervert snake! You left to play with her in the bathroom!" Lee groans.

"Astri had another vision." Zin says, ignoring Lee.

Astri goes to her workshop, takes a paper and a pencil. She walks to the dining table and starts to draw the monkey beastman.

"Astri was having another vision and, when I touched her, I was brought to where she was looking too. It was Elder Abel talking to a monkey beastman, telling him to go back first and tell the others that they need to put King Tyr down because he likes Astri and now is an ally of the Higher Priest. He also said that if the monkey finds any Monsters to let them know they need to kill Astri to really weaken us." Zin explains while Astri is drawing.

"Son of a worm.."

All of them grew livid.

"He dares to threat Astri... I’m going to kill him." Wayde growls.

"Not yet." Astri says.

She finishes the drawing and shows it to Tyr.

"You draw perfectly.." He softly says, impressed.

"Thank you, but this is the beastman carrying Elder Abel’s message. Let Lee’s warriors find him and bring him back. He will be our proof." She speaks.

"All right. You can take him."

"About Elder Abel... I’ll pay him a visit when Lee has the messenger."

"What are you planning to do? You shouldn’t be needing to face these disgusting creatures. Let us take care of them." Cyprian asks.

"You will. I will always trust you. But there are things I need to do. With the right amount of.. fear, we can learn more from Elder Abel. Claud will read all his mind and memories being close to him. Corrupted beastmen don’t fear torture, they fear the light. With me and Claud there he won’t be able to lock his memories somewhere Claud can’t see well." She answers.

Now they understand her plan. They nod.

"But all of us will go. You won’t be alone with that worm." Zin says.

She smiles and nods.

"King Tyr and Shung will be there too. I want all of you to hear what he has to say first hand, so you know how to defend our people." She says.

"Let me order some soldiers to look after this monkey." Lee takes the drawing and walks away.

Astri remembers something.

"Wait here, Shung! I have something to show you. Now I can show you." She says rushing back to the bedroom.

When she’s back, she shows him Dieg’s painting and that shocked Shung. Shung passes his fingers carefully on the drawing, amazed to see his son once again.

"Dieg.. Thus is amazing. You did this?" Shung asks Astri.

She answers with a nod and smiling, letting Shung has this precious time with his son again.

"Who is Dieg?" Tyr asks, looking at the drawing too.

"My mate. He died protecting me. He was Shung’s son and next leader."

Now Tyr understands why she says thar Shung is like a father to her.

"He was my first son from my first litter. He helped me growing the tribe until we found Leader Lee. I will never forget how happy he was when Astri accepted him as her spouse and they first mated. He was beaming.. But so soon he was killed, but protecting the love of his life. We didn’t arrive in time to help.." Shung says sadly.

"I miss him a lot. But everything happens for a reason. Dieg’s death raised something good in our family later, that is to enjoy your days like it could be the last. Smile everyday even in hard times. The last thing he told me was that he loved me and he had a smile on his face."

"It’s true.. I’m grateful for him." Wayde says, wrapping his arm around Astri.

"Me too." Zin, Cyprian and Claud say too.

"He was always so positive.. Thank you, Astri." Shung says, thrilled.

"You can come and see him whenever you want." She says and Shung nods in appreciation.

"He was a pain in my foot, looked like a cub running around Astri. But he would always make her laugh, just for being like that for her already made me accept him." Wayde says.

"He was fun, caring and loving." She affirms.

"He told me that he used to do something he never saw Wayde doing for you. What was it?" Shung asks Astri.

All of her spouses looked at her curiously, wanting to know. And Tyr is also curious, because he wants to court her officially.

"He would always pass his hand on my head or rub his fingers on my head, or play with my hair until I fell asleep. It was great." She answers.

They were enlightened, now all of them will do the same.

"He enjoyed his time a lot, I can see." Shung chuckles.

After deciding that it’s time to rest and sleep, Shung goes back home and everyone goes to sleep.

Astri laughs watching Claud and Cyprian rubbing her head. Lee was curious to understand what they were doing, but now he wants to do it too when he learns Dieg used to do that and she loves it.

She welcomes their affection and falls asleep happily.
