Cyprian had a real hard time to get Astri, she’s fast and when he finally caught her, he kissed deeply.

Of course he didn’t bring her home, he brought her to a high tree where no one would see them to make love to her.

"You were so hot there... I love when you’re so powerful like that.." He groans, going crazy feeling himself inside of her and watching her face full of pleasure.

She noticed they have this fetish to watch her being dominant sometimes. They like to be the most active, but they like her dominance, so she finds a midway of that somehow.

After getting undone, she lays down on the tree with Cyprian.

"Are you happy, Cyprian?" She asks him.

"So much. Because I have you and an amazing family. Why do you ask?" He says rubbing her arms, as she leans herself on his chest sitting between his legs.

"You and I once didn’t know the meaning our lives. I was thinking about how things are so different from the past. I’m scared with this role with Nature, because I’ll be pulling all of you with me, and it feels... selfish. But I’m also happy because I have a family I love so much."

"You’re not selfish, love. We’re proud of you and proud of being with you in this role. For us, it’s the greatest happiness to know we can help you somehow and also be with you forever, no matter the hard times. For us, everything will be always good as long we have you and you’re happy. We might not understand everything that you need to do, or that you’re capable of, but we love you the same way and we will be there for you. So don’t be scared."

She smiles and hugs his chest, moving her legs to be on his right leg. He smiles and hugs her too, wondering if the weight of her role isn’t too much for that little body. He knows she’s strong, but he worries about her well being and happiness.

In their minds, being this amazing mate and mother is already too much work, but they need to always remember she’s not a female like others. She’s different in many forms, and will always be that way.

Cyprian brings her to their bedroom through the window so they’re not noticed by the others so soon. He loves to help her washing and bathing, inside the bathroom her smell is more intense and he feels her scent sticking on him.

In the living room, her other mates are preparing dinner and taking care of the cubs. Tyr is thinking about Astri and he decides to be clear to her about what he wants. It’s not her mates that need to accept him, it is her.

When Cyprian sits on the couch with a satisfied sigh, Tyr spots Astri going to her workshop. So he walks to it and pokes his head inside.

She was writing, and that impressed him more because she has a lot of knowledge. Very few people can do that.

"Miss Astri?" He calls her.

She looks at him, and he already felt his heart jump.

"Can I talk to you?" He asks.

"Sure. Have a seat." She says and pulls another chair.

He sits and then remembers of her mates outside.

"I would like to talk to you in private.. If possible." He says and looks behind him.

"Close the door, they will understand it is private. Even if they hear, they won’t talk to you about what they heard."

He nods, and closes the door. Now he’s a bit nervous being with her alone. She waits for him to say anything first.

"Your mates told me you don’t want any more mates." Tyr says.

"Yes, it’s true."

"Why not?"

"Because it’s not easy for me... I’m not someone that choose a mate for convenience. Just to have a protector or a slave. I give myself to my males. I love them like they love me. And if I lose them, I feel the backlash on me.. When a battle comes I fear losing them so much, I would rather sacrifice myself for them." She explains.

He’s amazed, never imaging he would ever hear that from a female.

"Why you never chose a female before?" She asks.

"Because normally females only wants the luxury of being Queens. Elders and Kings normally decide to have females when older, so they live longer and don’t have to feel the backlash of their females and risk their lives. When a male have a female, our lives must always tied to our female, and if I decide to have just any female that only wants power, I’ll only be a tool for her luxury and she won’t help me raising my kingdom."

She smiles liking his answers.

"I like the way you think. Having someone must be something that happens naturally when both nurture feelings for each other." She says.

"The way you treat your spouses is different... You’re what I imagine as a Queen too. I want to be your male."

Even if she had an idea that he had a thing for her, she’s impressed he actually opened his heart to her.

"Like I said before, I must feel something for someone before anything. As a king, you know that deciding to be with us might have great sides and bad sides. With me it’s not different. Even more that being with me will mean that you will be immortal."

"What?" He asks, shocked.

"You would never die, if not killed by a disease or someone else. That might sound interesting for a King and Queen, but it’s not. Changing Kings is needed to keep the balance of the people. No one can know we’re immortals and you will have to leave. In other words, I can’t be Queen. I can be like Claud, someone to counsel you of what to do."

He lost his voice for some moments. Her mates are near the door listening like curious cubs, they cheer happily because she made it clear they can’t be mates.

"All right. I won’t be King anymore." Tyr says and that made her spouses stop cheering in silence.

"You’re important for the balance. You’re someone that will make the difference. You will remove rotten seeds from your people and will start to bring real peace to your people. Who else can do the same that you were willing to do for your people?" She asks.

"I know, but I don’t want to be mates with anyone else. You’re the one for me. I can’t see anyone else as my spouse." He says, and she sighs. "You don’t have to accept me now. I didn’t expect you to accept me now. You’re special and I need to fight for you, conquer you. So I promise you that I’ll be back to the Great Wall City, I’ll change it from it’s core and I’ll remove all bad weeds. I’ll make it a place you can go visit and be safe. Sideways, I’ll train an heir. And when I finish my mission there, I’ll come back to you. If you still don’t want me, I don’t care. As long I can be here to help you with your eternal role, I will be happy."

That statement impressed her, and her spouses are actually envious of his audacity, stoic and romantic attitude. However, they’re grateful he’s not forcing into anything.

"If that will make you happy." She nods with a shy smile.

Tyr smiles too and nods. He stands up.

"Don’t call me King anymore. Even if you’re not my female yet. You can call me Tyr. If you call me King, I’ll call you Higher Priestess Astri." He says.

She chuckles.

"All right, Tyr."

He can only hope he will always bring up a smile on her face. He opens the door and he watches her spouses pretending they didn’t listen anything, but he’s sure he felt their presence at the door.

Looking back at Astri, he watches her writing.

"Won’t you come have dinner?" Tyr asks.

"Yes. I’m just finishing writing some ideas" She answers, still writing.

He watches her with curiosity and then he walks to behind her, to see what she’s writing. She is drawing a new building and writing details of it.

"Smoked Meat Storage?" He reads slowly.

"Oh! You know how to read?" She says, happily.

"A little. Very little. I learned with Elder Frey."

"That’s great. Knowledge is always good, but mostly to make you wiser."

Her spouses get envious, not only Claud, because they didn’t learn how to read yet even if she already offered herself to teach them. They just didn’t want to disturb her time.

"Claud. Can you teach me how to read and write?" Zin asks Claud right away.

"Yes! Me too!" The other say too.

Claud chuckles.

"Sure."

"Let’s make a surprise for her. She will be happy when she sees that we’re reading what she writes and not only Claud." Lee gives the idea and all of them are even more motivated to learn.
