Chapter 23 Deciding The University

As he expected, the Principal announced, "Helius Gate. Nuclear Pulse, 2-star, High Quality."

Helius face instantly flushed in excitement. He had thought his nuclear pulse would be like the others, 1-star talent and would remain ordinary for the rest of his life, picking and looting syringes in the slums. He hadn't expected this surprise! 2-star! High quality at that! Finally, he could enroll into a university and seat for the examinations too!

Erian smiled, naturally he was happy for him Helius. But his mind wasn't in this place, he was planning on his next move. The Black Tiger gang wouldn't let him off since he had almost crippled Blake therefore until he has the strength to face their strongest expert Fu Tian; a level nine expert, going back to his place was a not an option. The only place he could go was the Waste Station.

Erian's attention was suddenly yanked when he heard his name.

"Erian Falstone, Nuclear pulse: 2-star low-- low quality." The principal said with a slight frown. He had expected better from someone who had been with their heavenly genius 'Leah' since childhood.

,m "Huh? Just two star? It's not even half of Leah's talent." Someone muttered in disdain.

"Isn't he ashamed of himself? He still dare show his face here even after being stuck in Level three for more than three years."

"I heard he's betrothed to our goddess 'Leah', is it true?" someone suddenly asked.

The crowds laughed in derision. "That's impossible. There's no talent in this world that can rival our goddess Leah! If someone wants to marry our goddess, the person has to be a nine star talent!"

"Come on, is there even a nine star talent?"

Erian remained expressionless and ignored the mockery of the crowds. He knew his strength and his weakness. Therefore Erian didn't let the jest get to him. He had the Titan System with him. His relent was ever growing. If he had a massive amount of nuclear energy, even Leah's talent would be like a grain of sand in comparisons with his talents, it was only a matter of time.

Erian didn't exit the school out of anger but remained in the large field. The rest of the names and talents were announced asn yehh were dismissed back to their classes.

Teacher Grey stood before every one and passed a piece of paper to everyone. "This is the form to apply for the universities in the town and the city. Fill the form appropriately and do not think of lying about your talent because when you seat for the examinations and your talent isn't up to par with what you have written, you will be charged with felony and might even lead to your death. So, review the information even more carefully just for mistakes. And for goodness sake, do not forget to write your student numbers, it's really important!"

This was the part Erian was waiting for otherwise he wouldn't have waited for this long before leaving.

Erian was passed the piece of paper. It illustrated some of the universities in both the town and the village. The seven grand Elite universities were also amongst the universities places there, but the seven universities were only pio dream to Erian and the rest of the students. They could only dream about it and not even think about it.

Looking at the requirements for the seven universities, Erian couldn't help but take in a deep breath. The first requirement was Level Nine strength. The second requirement, must be at least 17 years of age and the other requirements was experience in battle and the most important requirement, a Four Star, High-Quality nuclear pulse talent!

The first requirement had already cut off a lot of people. Since the examination would start in at most two months, no one in the ascending class and common class could reach Level nine in two months. It was a realm most people spend their entire lifetime trying to reach but unable to get there even after taking numerous resources.

Erian sighed slightly. The time was too short for him. If he had enough time, then there might be hope for him to enrol in one of the Seven grand Universities, but it was impossible to raise his nuclear pulse to reach 4-star and also breakthrough to Level-Nine in two month.

Ignoring the seven grand Universities, he turned towards the other universities in the city and his eyes started to brighten slightly.

Most of the universities requirements were 3-star high quality inky a few took in Three star mid quality. Erian's expressionless face started to crack. There might actually be hop for him to enrol to a decent university.

'War God Academy? Wasn't that one of the academy that was ranked equally with the Seven Grand Universities?' Erian muttered and checked through their information.

His eyes widened slightly with what he saw. Their mortality rate was actually eighty percent which means there's an eighty percent chance you will die when you enroll into the academy and a twenty percent chance you might survive.

Looking at their requirements, thwg accept people who are even older than 16 with the age limit of twenty and the least talent they accept for the university was 3-star low quality. They were the only university that accept three star low quality.

Erian couldn't really believe what he was seeing, his heart started pounding as he though this might actually be a chance for him. But the mortality rate was so scary. Out of a hundred people, only 20 people got to live. What are they doing in there, sacrificing their stud nests lives to satiate the Colossals and mindless zombie Titans?

Erian shook his head. The university was just too dangerous. He might as well enrol in another one in the town. The Town Universities accepts Two star talents anyways therefore, there was no need to risk his life extracting nuclear energy from the deeper parts of the Waste Station only to get to three star then enrolling into the War God academy only to die due to their high casualty rate.fr𝚎e𝙬𝚎𝚋𝚗૦ν𝚎𝒍.c૦m
