174 A Spatial Ring

Zeras breathed out a sigh of relief on hearing the spaceship finally take off. The anticipation of exploring the remains of a celestial race and meeting with the so-called absolute genius of the Nine families made his heart pounding madly in his chest.

Surely, this event would definitely be a memory to remember for the future. But first:

Zeras slowly took off the small backpack from his back and poured the contents onto the floor.

Three barrier-type pieces of technology, an invisibility potion, a strange metallic egg-shaped object, and a compass-shaped scanner.

A smile appeared on Zeras's face looking at all the equipment. This was the first time something was gifted to him without him having to work hard for it. Although he did work hard during the lab training still he never anticipated it.

"Don't worry, I won't disappoint you all..." Zeras muttered under his breath as he slowly extended his left hand forward looking at the Spatial ring.

"A storage space, huh? Let's see how this works..." Zeras said placing one of the artifacts beside the ring, hoping it would appear in it but nothing happened even after waiting five seconds.

"Hmm, am I doing it wrong or is this ring defective?" Zeras wondered when suddenly his eyes brightened as a smile appeared on his face.

Holding the button in his hands, he enveloped it in his Mana and suddenly, the button disappeared from his hands and willed for it to enter the ring and

DEJAVU

The button disappeared.

"Wow..." Zeras screamed out in shock, surprise evident on his face, as he directed his Mana towards the ring.

Then it was like a gigantic space suddenly appeared directly in his head as Zeras looked at the fairly large space around 15 times bigger than his backpack and in the middle of this space was a circular button which was the same artifact that just disappeared from his hands.

"It really can store objects. It is like creating an entire space inside an object. Something that should be scientifically impossible but I guess it should be done with the aid of Spatial Manipulation." Zeras muttered feeling it was just the same with Quinn's ability to strangely teleport which was in itself, scientifically impossible.

Willing for the button to appear in his hands, and the button appeared at the center of his palm.

"This is a great piece of equipment. I can keep the object by simply putting it in my hand and willing it to enter and also retrieve it by a simple will.

This saves the effort of searching around the bag for objects and also ease of removal. Besides, with this amount of space, then he wouldn't even worry at all about space not being enough perfect for the situation.

Zeras immediately packed the remaining of his objects including the backpack into the space, now feeling more comfortable than ever without needing a bag.

"I just hope they don't collect it back after the events ends..." Zeras muttered. He knew they never mentioned anything about simply dashing him the ring only saying they have something for him.

As for the mission of finding treasures, Zeras had no problem in helping to search for the treasures so far his life was not at risk and he could also give them to the EIA, but only if they were of no use to him. There would be no need to hoarding to himself artifacts he did not need to, besides doing that might create a poor impression of him to the higher-ups and who knows what would happen after that.

It only takes a single evil act to ruin a man's entire good reputation!

He wouldn't do something like that.

"System interface..." Zeras muttered as the familiar golden-colored notification panel appeared.

Also, he would try to immediately break through to the Meteor rank stage as quickly as possible. Perhaps, he would be able to at least stand his ground against the genius of the nine families after that.

One might wonder why he wasn't so scared of the Nine Families genius or if he was only putting on an act but to be honest he wasn't really afraid at all.

It was due to the nine families' history. They were the nine families because they possessed A-grade Genes. That was why they were called terrific monsters.

But what about him who possessed an SSS-grade gene and also an upgradable gene currently at Rank C?

The Nine family genius being so-called strong was due to him starting cultivation late. He was hundred percent sure just a couple of years from now and the so-called Nine families won't be worthy enough to stand beside him when it comes to power. This was what powers him, his absolute unwavering confidence in his potential.

The second is simply practice. Use it more and more and it'll grow stronger]

"Hmm, I like the sound of that," Zeras muttered satisfactorily. He didn't know when next he'll be fusing with with the Chaos Devourer gene again but he knew it wasn't any time soon. So growing his Chaotic Existence Skills with that wouldn't work. But with constant use increasing his comprehension, then perhaps he could really increase their power soon enough.

Out of all his system skills, his Chaotic Existence Skills would no doubt be the top three favorite he loved.

Why?

Because with his natural strength, he could easily defeat anyone a the star rank stage without much trouble and also rival Early Meteor rank stage experts even though it will kinda be a little hard. But once he used Hollow Domain, then Early Meteor rank stage Expert would become a punching bag waiting to be beaten to a pulp.

As for the limit of the Hollow Domain, he didn't know, but prob only those at the Middle Meteor rank would be able to fight him on equal ground when he used it.

All in all, he would make sure to clear all his doubts in this event.
