Chapter 13: This Is Nothing He Even Pees Standing Up
This was Fu Sichen’s first time eating with a pet.
Surprisingly, he didn’t feel the least bit disgusted— he even felt happy, seeing Pei Zhen munch away so heartily.
He didn’t eat anything yesterday because he didn’t like the cat food?
Thinking up to here, Fu Sichen pushed his sandwich towards Pei Zhen.
Pei Zhen went still with shock.
Was this *sshole really taking him to be some kind of hero? Otherwise, why would he treat him like this?!
Pei Zhen felt a pang of pain, and remembered that his real body was still lying in the hospital. He really wanted to give Fu Sichen a nice slap!
After breakfast, Fu Sichen scooped some bone broth into a thermos, changed his clothes, and got ready to leave the house.
Knowing that Fu Sichen was going to the hospital, Pei Zhen trotted closely behind him, trying to get across his desire to go with him.
Since he was a cat, he had no other choice. As much as he didn’t like Fu Sichen, he could only depend on him.
Fu Sichen thought that the cat was bored and lonely. He picked the cat up, and took it with him.
Wang Youquan was in the parking lot. Still biting on a meat bun, his eyes welled up in tears when he saw Fu Sichen appear.
This was a continuation of the series “You’re Worth Less Than a Cat.”
Not only did the cat take his breakfast, but he was now cuddling up to Best Actor Fu!
Fu Sichen was perplexed by the expression on Wang Youquan’s face. He slipped into the backseat of the sedan before asking, “What’s wrong?”
Wang Youquan swallowed the bun sorrowfully. “Nothing.”
“Let’s go to the hospital…”
As Fu Sichen settled in the backseat, Pei Zhen squirmed out of his embrace, and jumped onto his head.
Fu Sichen was speechless.
Where did this cat get his guts from? And what was up with that feisty temper of his!
Fu Sichen grabbed the cat and removed it from his head. But before he could speak, the cat broke free, leaping onto his shoulder, and had gotten back on his head in no time flat.
This little monster…
Fu Sichen scowled and said icily, “Get down, or I’ll throw you out of this car.”
Being hurled out at this speed on the highway, even having nine lives wouldn’t save him.
Fu Sichen’s words had an impact. The Persian cat came down from Fu Sichen’s head, but still stubbornly remained on his shoulder.
“Sigh… this little monster.” Wang Youquan was observing the interaction between the pair with amusement. “So he really does understand what we’re saying.”
Fu Sichen thought otherwise, “He was trained.”
After saying that, he couldn’t resist adding, “This is nothing. He even pees standing up.”
Wang Youquan exclaimed in disbelief. “What?!”
Pei Zhen almost fell off of Fu Sichen’s shoulder.
It was great that Fu Sichen thought that he was normal, but did he really have to announce his private habits to the whole world?! What a scumbag!
An air of awkward silence followed.
The cat and chauffeur finally arrived at the hospital. After hearing about his strange peeing habits, Wang Youquan began to look at Pei Zhen strangely.
Even before the car came to a halt, Wang Youquan had already whipped out his mobile phone to search the internet.
“Do cats pee standing up?”
The search yielded quick results. A string of related links popped up on the screen.
“How to Help Your Cat Differentiate Between The Litter Box and The Bed.”
“Warning Signs of Abnormal Urinating Behavior in Kittens.”
“Fast Facts About Bad Urinating Habits in Kittens.”
The top few search results had been somewhat relevant, but the rest were simply useless. In any case, there weren’t any topics about cats that stood up to pee.
Wang Youquan gazed at Fu Sichen’s silhouette growing smaller and smaller in the distance. He began to question if it was just that he had no knowledge about anything cat related, or that Fu Sichen was neglecting to notice something.
