Chapter 27: Return to the domain; Earth!

Chapter 27: Return to the domain; Earth!

"You hurt him," the voice was barely a whisper, but it changed the situation as a being stepped out of Cristian's shadow.

He suddenly found himself close to the wall and Lia's scent gushed into his nostrils while her gem-like eyes shone with volcanic rage.

Without a word, she vanished, the air distorted due to the heat billowing off her body. The fog cleared, revealing a white-haired woman with ample assets and an alluring shape.

She opened her plump lips and her fangs came into view. A long pink forked tongue slithered out of her mouth and she hissed.

Medusa wasn't bothered about being naked, for she knew nothing of human desires for such an alluring body.

"I would have made you a maid if you didn't try to kill my Lord," Lia scowled as her eyes twinkled when she accessed Medusa's body. 'Tsk, what a waste.' she added inwardly. Medusa would have been a good maid but the number one rule was you can lust after the Lord but never hurt him or even harbor that thought.

Medusa's brows furrowed, as she couldn't see any information about Lia. It was like an invisible shield that protected her from prying eyes.

She had gotten a good portion of Cristian's information without him knowing due to the gap in strength, but it was a different case for Lia for higher tiers could shield themselves, rendering the inspection skill useless.

The fog got thicker and hundreds of Ice petals appeared above Medusa, painting a beautiful yet disturbing scene, for some soldiers instantly lost hope.

"Go" She pointed her index finger at Lia and the sharp petals that could pierce deep into the stone walls shot toward Lia in droves.

"Cute. now, know your place." Her sweet voice swept through the battlefield, scaly wings came out of her back, and with a flap, she shot into the air.

Her lips parted and dark red flames spewed forth. The ice petals stood no chance, as not even their liquid state remained.

The flames weren't even close yet, the heat already made Medusa feel like she was being cooked. Her snow-white skin turned red, her brows knitted, and several ice walls rose but also melted.

Even when her tier was suppressed. Lia was much stronger than those on the Esteemed tier, which was Medusa's current tier.

'Ahhh! How did that pesky human gain the help of a half-dragon!' Medusa screamed inwardly.

Anna quickly canceled the dome skill, as Medusa could only retreat under Lia's assaults. From dragon breath to fire spears, fireballs, and gigantic fire lances.

As her class entailed; Lia could wield fire to her liking, placing her below true dragons, which were beings of elements.

Along with her sister, they both rushed out of the gate and moved toward the exhausted Cristian who needed Lia's help to put on Infinite Touch.

He drained his mana pool to the last drop, and now that the adrenaline cooled, his body ached badly.

Yet a smile graced his face as he watched his beautiful maid rain flames on Medusa, who focused on defending. It was clear that Lia wants to torture Medusa or she would have consumed her in flames.

"Cristian!" a melodious voice made him turn and his green pupils dilated for Sheila ran toward him.

The expression on the beauty's face tugged his heartstrings and when she arrived, her arms wrapped around him and he could feel her bountiful melons squishing against his firm chest.

Subconsciously, he stroked her hair, causing her to shiver, yet she still embraced him and a smile slowly appeared on Cristian's handsome face.

'Life and death battles do change a lot,' he mused inwardly while stroking her silky blue hair.

"Cristian, am glad you're safe." Anna finally arrived. Her calm and solemn tone was completely different from the innocent woman he knew.

With her white robe and staff, she looked like a calm and collected priestess and not the naive girl who took comfort in his embrace a few hours ago.

"Anna, is anything wrong?" he queried softly. He couldn't be more baffled for she had created an invisible wall between them and the pain hidden behind her mesmerizing golden eyes almost made him bring her to his embrace.

To Anna, she felt both anger, sad and helpless. The man who she took as a friend, even if it had only been a few hours since they met, shattered her heart.

She trusted him enough to spill some secrets, yet it turned out he was an Athelstone in disguise.

Seeing her sister with him made her furious because this bastard had tricked them both.

Sheila broke the embrace, for she sensed the tension between Cristian and her sister. "What happened?"

"Anna-..." Cristian paused as texts appeared on his retina.

[Cristian/ Vladimir Athelstone, will you accept the call to return to the domain of the species you came with? Extra slots +2.]

His eyes widened, for this was everything he could dream of. There would be no need to hide his affinity there, for many things would be taken like game-like abilities. He could grow without hiding anything and form alliances since earthlings were still beginners.

Other races had fully grown and it would be hard to gain anything if even a small town had people almost at the first tier. There wasn't any need to think about cities!

"I accept," he said audibly, which got both girls confused, and he took this opportunity. "Sheila, Anna. Do you want to be powerful?"

The allure in his tone drilled deep, but they remained skeptical, for it was a strange thing coming from an adventurer.

"I have questions, Cristian," Anna said with a detached tone but became flustered as Cristian appeared before her and flashed an attractive smile filled with such allure that she gulped.

"I'll answer all questions and I'll make you much more than just another arcane mage," he said to both girls and stretched out his hands.

The moment they touched his palms, all three vanished along with Lia and the burning Medusa.
