Chapter 137 137 – A Woman’s Worry

Lana walked cheerfully towards the minotaur training site. Her goal was definitely to meet Ritor, though she might just be observing from afar.

She was very happy when her lover became shy when she came.

"Aah, it was so fun having sex before training." A reddish-haired minotaur appeared from a corner while adjusting his trousers. He waved at a flying succubus. "Too bad our boss can't enjoy it."

His partner, who had dark gray fur like a mouse, chuckled. "That's why I wonder why he still keeps that human as his lover."

Hearing that, Lana hid behind a tree while the two minotaurs drew closer.

The red fur shrugged. "Some say it's because of love. Well, I don't really understand that. However, I feel sorry for him, lad. He continued to take care of us and was only stroked by his girlfriend after that. As a man, doesn't he feel something is missing? Holy shit, our boss is a virgin."

"Perhaps we should persuade him to do it." The gray fur scratched its chin. "Ah, how about we requested Lord Vorn to make a personal succubus for our boss? Lord Vorn also has personal succubi that no other man can touch."

"Yeah, a creature whose pussy our boss can't use is useless. If our boss abandons her, it won't affect him much."

The two minotaurs laughed as they passed the tree where Lana was hiding. The woman fell to the ground with tears flowing.

She understood what those two horned creatures were saying. So, she tried her best to serve Ritor in other ways.

If Ritor insists on having sex with Lana, the woman will die. A minotaur has a different physique from other demons, so they are harmless when it comes to having sex with ordinary humans.

"Too bad. Soon we will have a big mission, but our boss can't reduce his tension properly." The red fur minotaur added.

Lana felt like her heart was hit by something hard. She ran in the opposite direction, discouraged from going to the minotaur's training ground.

The two minotaurs looked at the woman away. They had actually noticed Lana's whereabouts earlier.

"What if she reports us?" the gray fur asked.

A cynical chuckle escaped the red-fur's mouth. "Don't worry. We won't be severely punished for something like that. This is for the benefit of our own boss." f𝑟𝑒ewe𝚋𝚗૦𝐯e𝘭.c𝗼𝓂

Meanwhile, Lana kept running while wiping away her tears. Not seeing the way, she tripped over a rock on the road.

And so risen, her facial expression changed. She became more determined. Instead of wailing like this, she should have done something.

She must make RItor happy no matter what.

"What the hell happened to you?" Robyn asked Lana, whose face was decorated with several wounds.

Lana smiled at Robyn, who was preparing the sandwiches with the other workers.

"I want to help because I'm bored." Lana shrugged. "How about I deliver lunch to Doc and our new guests?"

"But, today is not your shift…." Robyn stopped her words when she saw the pleading expression of the brown-haired woman. "Well, take this then."

Lana took the basket pointed by Robyn. "Thanks!"

Robyn continued her work, occasionally glancing at Lana, who was walking quickly out of the big kitchen.

Lana's heart was beating faster and faster as she walked further away. She had to complete her personal mission, or she might not stand a chance.

She can't stand it if Ritor finds another woman.

Because the distance between the kitchen and Lexi's residence wasn't too far, Lana only took a few minutes to get there.

"Oh hey, Lana." Garthur opened the door. "Delivering lunch, I believe?"

Lana flashed a big smile. "Yes, I also wanted to check on Doc and our new recruits."

"Sure, come in."

Since Lana was someone Ritor trusted, Garthur didn't suspect her.

Lana kept her manners to not show any nervousness. She tried to walk calmly toward the doctor's laboratory.

"Time for lunch." Lana entered the room and found three people dressed in white lying on the carpet. "What happened to them?"

"They've been helping me make an antidote for Lady Phisovia all night," Lexi answered while stirring the red liquid in a bowl. "So, I asked them to rest first…. Ah, just put it there, Lana."

Lana glanced at another minotaur in the room. That creature looks very sleepy. Many times he closed his eyes, and his head fell.

"You should probably get some rest, too, Doc." Lana put the basket she brought to the empty table Lexi pointed at.

The doctor had indeed blinked several times. "I'll do it in a minute."

"So…." Lana approached the dark green-haired woman. "You said you were making an antidote. Did it go well?"

Lexi took a deep breath, stopping her activities. "Well, we are still in very early stages. So I can't say anything."

"What about your other research?" Lana asked in a cautious tone. "For example, regarding that potion to turn humans into demons."

Lexi looked at Lana's face for a moment, then continued stirring up the blood. "I know how you feel. And I keep doing that research, among others. I did get promising results. However, now I must focus on making this antidote."

"Aah…" Lana glanced at a clear bottle filled with a brown liquid on one of the tables. She knew that was the potion they were talking about. Lexi once showed it to her when it was still in the early stages.

It was unusual for this room to be a bit messy, and that potion just lay there. Looks like Lexi is really busy, so she doesn't have time to tidy up this room properly.

"When will you complete the antidote and continue research on this human-altering potion?" Slowly, Lana walked to the corner of the room, occasionally glancing at Garthur, who was eating, and his fellow minotaur, who had fallen asleep sitting up.

"I don't know, Lana." Lexi is still busy with her research, so she doesn't pay attention to Lana's behavior. "However, I have a feeling this is going to take a very long time."

"I see." Lana took the potion and hurriedly hid it under her sweater. "Good luck then. Bye."
