CHAPTER 33
The following day came faster than expected. Just as she had promised, she went straight to his office to brief him on things. ƒr𝙚𝙚𝘸e𝚋𝐧૦ѵ𝒆𝒍.𝒄𝒐m
To her surprise, she met Xu Fang and another young handsome looking man seated in front of Liu Xueyi discussing.
Dipping her head lightly, she greeted them with a big smile as her lips parted softly. "Good morning."
Lifting his head, his face engaged in a smile that created little wrinkles around his eyes and grooves in his cheeks.
That was the first time his friends had seen him smile like that and all from a greeting from one person.
Slowly, Tang Yan's lips parted and he nudged Xu Fang on the arm, signalling him what was happening.
The two friends exchanged knowing glances before clearing their throats and looking at Andromeda. "Good morning."
Standing up, Liu Xueyi took in her outfit, admiring her simplistic fashion sensed that stood out non-withstanding.
She wore a plain sky blue handless body fitted gown with printed star designs. She had a marching light blue small scarf, neatly tied into a fine knot around her neck and a white sandals heels and branded bag to go with it.
Her long blonde hair was styled in a side-parted, big curly waves, left to cascade down her back. With one look, she stole their breath away.
"Welcome. Please come," He gestured for her to walk over and she did. On getting to his desk, she swept her gaze across the men and returned their smile.
"Andromeda, this is Tang Yan. My friend and lawyer. Tang Yan, meet my new Creative Director."
"I see." He stood up, the smile warmed his eyes as he shook her hands, broadening it to reveal his dimple. "Pleasure meeting you, Andromeda."
"Likewise."
"Okay, she all we move over to the couch, we can discuss over coffee." Following his lead, all four of them moved over to the side of his office, housing his side parlour.
While they sat, he moved over to his coffee maker machine and brewed some coffee for them.
To her surprise, she had expected him to send for his secretary, but he did it himself. Once he was done, Liu Xueyi returned to his place on the couch, holding a tray with four teacups filled with hot coffee.
His eyes twinkled with humour at the small jokes they made and the slightest suggestion of a smile playing at the corners of his mouth was revealed to Andromeda.
"Enjoy," he announced, upon seating. Everyone got their cup and the discussion progressed.
Andromeda informed him of her findings, those who worked, those who gossiped and the lack of motivation, thrill and vibrancy their work environment lacked. She spent another half an hour giving him details on things that could be changed and other ideas to get the pumping.
If that couldn't work so much, she suggested hiring more fashion designs, criteria and things to look for as they displace the ones occupying space.
By the time she finished, his face expressed more satisfaction with her, his smile and glance were brighter and more attractive.
"Bravo," Tang Yan applauded her. He returned his gaze to his friend, "Liu Xueyi, I think this might be the best thing that can happen to your company. Be thankful for having someone like her. Nice one, Miss Andromeda."
"I think so too," Xu Fang chipped in. "With her creative ideas, the Human Resource Manager would not find this difficult. Also, I see Starlight Apparel really becoming a shooting shining star."
"Well done," his face engaged in a smile that created little wrinkles around his eyes and grooves in his cheeks. He was truly satisfied with her performance. "Good one."
"However, I must warn you," Andromeda began. "Should incase the ladies give you a difficult time due to the termination of contract and firing them, it might get ugly. You need to…"
His thoughts trailed off on what she said, thinking of a way he could curb the problem with absolute ease when his eyes landed on Tang Yan.
He blinked slowly, returning his gaze to her face, as a slow smile appeared on his lips, erasing the creases between his brows. "You do not have to worry about that. I believe Tang Yan can handle such situations with ease.
"You flatter me much, Xueyi. However, I have always solved problems, I can do so again." He averted his gaze to Andromeda. "Did you get any of these actions as evidence?"
"Yes. I had some of their conversations recorded and took a few snapshots when no one was looking."
"Good." He nodded at her. She kept on impressing him. "Nicely done."
"Besides, with the recording, I can sue them for defamation. However, I believe when confronted with this evidence, they would not want to file any lawsuit seeing as they could lose."
"Good. It was finally time to squash those bugs and move on," Xu Fang added.
"Alright then. Shall we make the big reveal? Are you ready to make them know the real you, Andromeda?"
She tilted her head to the side a bit, brought her cup to her lips and took a sip first. Her eyes closed briefly, placing the cup down. Her smile was quick and warm, her blue eyes dancing with confidence. "Very ready."

Back at the office, the other ladies awaited her arrival, grumbling at how they had to do their tasks should in case she failed to come to work.
"Hey, did that new intern call in sick with any of you?" Wang Mei Mei asked, placing a hand on her waist.
"Not at all. I thought she called you or even Ms Gao Fei," Mi Guan added.
"Hmm, she is biting on more than she can chew. I bet she has found one of the bosses to sleep with that is why she is acting nonchalant. I mean it has just been two days since she resumed and we see her true self," Mi Xu chipped in, leaving her seat.
"Hmm, more like you are bothered that if she does not come, no one would run errands and do your work for you," Cao Yan voiced out from where he sat.
"How dare you speak to me like that, Cao Yan? Do you think I am lazy?" Zhu Lian asked. "We are only being good seniors."
"Guilty conscience. I think you ladies are just jealous of her. Not only is she beautiful, but she is also very obedient, unlike the like so you."
"Dong Song, watch your words or else this industry would not contain us both," Zhu Lian warned.
"Not only do I think so, I believe your day of reckoning is fast approaching." Cao Yan snickered at her and returned to his computer screen. Bothering with the likes of them could be so brain stressing.
"Rather than standing there and making a ruckus, I suggest you start your work. You won't have anyone doing your work today," Dong Song added with a pleased smile appearing on his lips.
"How dare…"
The sound of the door opening and swinging to the side caught her off guard and everyone went silent.
