Chapter 957: Girl’s Trip! Woo!
When Thrudd called her father's phone, the last thing she was expecting was to find her mother's breasts taking up most of the camera.
"Mom, come on! How am I supposed to have normal friends when you guys do stuff like this!?" Thrudd complained as she covered Fiona's innocent (lecherous) eyes. "Put your udders away!"
Seras backed away and covered her chest while her face turned beet red. "I-If anything, this is totally your fault! Who calls someone when they're on a honeymoon?"
"Seras, she's our daughter." Abaddon reminded.
"S-So!? S-She called my breasts udders! Rude little heifer!" Seras sniffled. "I fed her with these!"
"I know, I know."
"Hey!" Thrudd yelled.
Seras placed her head in the crook of her husband's neck and rested against his warmth while muttering something incoherent about ungrateful children.
Fiona finally gathered the strength to pull Thrudd's hand away from her eyes. She was noticeably sporting a new nosebleed.
"Hey, Mr. and Mrs. T... you guys are, uh... looking real good over there."
Abaddon and Seras smiled and greeted her back. She seemed to enjoy it just a hair too much for their daughter's liking.
Thrudd gave Fiona the stinkiest stink eye that she could possibly muster. She then made sure to turn her phone away so that Fiona didn't see any more nip slips on the camera. ƒгeewebnovёl.com
"ANYWAY, I just wanted to ask you guys for a favor."
"A favor?" Abaddon tilted his head.
"W-Well, more like permission." Thrudd admitted.
"Permission denied." Seras cut in.
"You didn't even hear what I wanted from you yet!"
"I believe I've already heard quite enough from you if I'm honest." Seras huffed as she leaned further into her husband's lap.
Thrudd could tell that something was off with her mother; she just couldn't pinpoint exactly what that something was…
"Mom, are you alright, because you seem a little..."
Thrudd met her father's pleading gaze, and she decided that maybe it would be better to just cut her inquiry short. Evidently, whatever was going on with her mom was something he was actively working on.
Best not to spoil the progress.
"A-Anyway… I'm having kind of a hard time at home, and I was wondering if I could leave for a bit...? J-Just to clear my head."
Abaddon and Seras were immediately concerned.
"What do you mean 'you're having a hard time' dear..?" Abaddon asked.
"Are your brothers picking on you?" Seras grabbed the phone. "Put them on the line so I can beat their heads in."
Now, Thrudd wondered if maybe she was just mistaken. Her mother seemed perfectly fine after all.
"I-It's nothing like that, it's just... I'm kind of avoiding BB at the moment, so I just needed some space..." Thrudd was so mortified from admitting this aloud that she could have died.
"What??" Abaddon tilted his head. "Are you al-"
"A-And yes, I'm fine, so please don't ask me if I'm alright or I just might die from embarrassment!" Thrudd yelled in a hurry.
Abaddon wisely decided not to ask again.
Thrudd felt Fiona rub her back passively, and she took it as her sign to calm down before she gave herself an ulcer.
Gathering herself, Thrudd took a deep breath and smiled at her parents in that deceptive, 'I'm your child but there's nothing you should be worried about' manner.
"Like I said, I kind of just... Need to get out for a bit. Is that okay?"
Instinctively, Abaddon almost said yes.
However, what gave him pause was remembering that Thrudd wasn't exactly still a child. She didn't have to ask him for permission to go anywhere anymore.
She may have been the type to stay home a lot, but surely she knew that at least.
And so, the only logical assumption left was that she was asking him for permission to go somewhere he would expressly not want her to go.
Abaddon held the bridge of his nose while a terrible migraine began to form.
"Thruddie... Are you asking us for permission to go to Asgard..?"
Thrudd's only response was a sheepish smile.
"...I love you?"
Seras and Abaddon looked unamused.
"We love you too, and that's why we'd like it if you didn't try to leave the safety of home right now if it's not absolutely necessary." Seras insisted. "You know what happened to your brother... If something like that happened to you then-"
"I'll be fine." Thrudd insisted. "Besides, you just let Mira leave the house with Grandpa G. Are you trying to say I'm weaker than Mira?"
"It's not about being strong or weak." Abaddon insisted. "It's about our enemies being depraved and underhanded."
Thrudd lowered her head pitifully. Sad that her efforts had been seemingly wasted.
"But.." Abaddon began.
Like a puppy, Thrudd's face perked up again and showed immense hope.
"It is true that we let your younger sister go somewhere, so we can't in good conscience stop you..." Abaddon was rubbing his head as if he couldn't believe he was saying all of this. "You can go, but you have to take someone with you."
Thrudd pointed to Fiona. Coincidentally, Fiona also pointed to herself.
"Nice try, but not quite what I had in mind." Abaddon chuckled. "Besides, you have to convince your old man to let you go as well, Fiona. You're not my kid, so I can't really give you permission for something like this."
Fiona nodded. "I understand, Mr. T. I'll ask him."
Fiona wasn't going to ask Shin a damned thing.
"If I have to bring someone, then who is it..? I really don't want to be around any of the boys right now..." Thrudd admitted.
Abaddon smiled innocently.
Thrrudd really hated that smile.
-
The door swung open and Thrudd looked down at her tiny compatriot for the day.
"I must admit that I am quite perplexed by Father's decision to have me accompany you. Does he not believe that I can have better things to do with my time than supervising your heartbroken hijinks?"
Thrudd said nothing as her smile threatened to crack.
"And here I was about to say that you look very cute today, Gabbrielle."
Gabbrielle showed the faintest, most minuscule smile she could possibly produce. "...Okay, we can go now."
She appeared right on top of Thrudd's shoulders like they were her appointed seat. Making her slightly nostalgic for when her own siblings were still small.
"Alright, should I change into something a little raunchier?" Fiona looked down at her clothes. "I've never been to any kind of asgardian club before."
Gabbrielle and Thrudd stared at Fiona like she had grown a second head. The two then slowly turned to face each other.
"...Your friend does know that this is you we're talking about, doesn't she?"
"I think so. We haven't really been friends all that long, though, I'll admit..." Thrudd scratched her ear shyly.
Fiona was unamused. "Alright, alright, I get it. No clubs or bars then. So, where are we going? I'm down for anything besides karaoke." She nodded firmly.
"I will also try to kill you if you make me do karaoke." Gabbrielle confirmed.
"We're not doing karaoke, god!" Thrudd exclaimed.
Both girls breathed out a sigh of relief.
"You guys going somewhere?"
The girls looked up and found Bekka's mother, Karliah, wandering down the hallway all by her lonesome.
Gabbrielle just pretended that she could not smell her great-uncle Iori on her. That would make going to sleep at night much easier.
As soon as Thrudd saw her grandmother, her eyes visibly lit up. "Grandma K! We're going to the Hearty Boar! Wanna come!?"
Gabbrielle / Fiona: "The fucking what...?"
Karliah smiled wildly as she took Thrudd underneath her arm. "Shit, kid, what's the occasion? ...I didn't miss your birthday again, did I..?"
"Yes, but that's okay!" Thrudd nodded. "Today we're just going to cut loose and hang out with no strings attached!"
Karliah grinned wolfishly. "Alright!" Now that's what I like to hear! Let me go wash off and I'll join you three gals!"
Thrudd snickered. "What's even the point? You're just going to end up a mess in the bathroom again anyway."
"Hahaha, you're totally right! No need to waste any time then!" Karliah pointed ahead. "To the Hearty Boar!"
"To the Hearty Boar!" Thrudd cheered in unison.
Gabbrielle drifted off of Thrudd's shoulders as she and Karliah wandered down the hall laughing as a twisted pairing.
For some reason, Fiona was beginning to have an unsavory feeling in the pits of her stomach. As if she were experiencing a sudden need to stop all of this before it became too late.
"Whatever you are thinking, I can promise you that the reality will be much, much worse." Adult Gabbrielle suddenly said.
Ignoring the sudden and drastic change in the formerly cute young girl, Fiona slowly pointed at the large honred woman now walking away with Thrudd.
"T-Then why aren't we stopping them..? Seems kinda irresponsible if you ask me..."
Gabbrielle's face turned grim and dark.
"Our grandmother is like a great storm. You don't try to stop it by force. You climb into the tub, hold your head down, and pray to god it doesn't toss your trampoline in the air..."
"...What?"
"We're fucked."
"Ah, okay, got it."
