Chapter 1173: First Confrontation

In the void, ten beasts stood side by side as if receiving a guest to their house.

The Supreme Beast smirked and shouted, "Hahahaha! Spirit God! Why is your cultivation still a God King? Do you think you can win against me with that puny strength of yours?"

"My strength, huh. You're so good. To think you can understand my strength in one glance… Even I couldn't help but feel impressed. I mean, even my Spirit Eyes have no confidence to do the same." Alex shook his head helplessly.

The Supreme Beast suddenly felt something was wrong, but he couldn't find it. He knew Alex was different from three years ago, but that was all. Alex didn't release his energy, so he had no idea what kind of transformation Alex had undergone.

All the God Kings then gathered around Alex, trying to intimidate them. After all, the enemies only had two Bears, six Bats, one Dragon, and one Supreme Beast, while they had fourteen God Kings, including Alex.

There was no way they would lose to them again, especially with their number.

"It seems another Angel has fallen, eh?" Alex snorted, looking down on the Supreme Beast like how the latter did earlier.

The Supreme Beast clenched his teeth since the Angel needed to die to let him advance to the next level. He incorporated his Law, the World's Energy, and his own body to create Immortal Energy forcefully.

The Supreme Beast shouted in anger. "And after today, I will fill this outer space with blood and open a free shop for everyone to paint their spaceship red."

"Oh, you mean your blood?" Alex harrumphed.

"I'm sorry, but my blood is not red." The Supreme Beast shrugged, indirectly telling him that his blood was going to be used to paint a spaceship.

"That is only possible if you can kill me today, which I doubt you can." Alex shrugged.

Between these insults, the first to make a move was the Earth God. Alex had been missing all these years, so he believed Alex must have done something big like their King, so he wanted to test Alex to see his power.

"You're going to do it?" The Supreme Beast narrowed his eyes and asked the Earth God.

"Please let me do it, My King. I would like to see the gap between us." The Earth God lowered his head.

"Just once." The Supreme Beast nodded his head since he was quite curious too. The Spirit God was not someone who would make a useless effort. There must be something he was missing and using the Earth God to check it out might be good.

After getting the acknowledgment, the Earth God stepped forward and clapped his hand.

"Calling."

The Earth Element Disturbance suddenly appeared out of nowhere and grew bigger and bigger until it began to solidify, creating a huge meteoroid half the size of a Lower World. He wanted to see whether Alex still needed to use his Eight Purities Slash to cut down this thing anymore. It should be enough to gauge his current prowess.

"Go!"

The huge meteoroid flew toward Alex as the latter only smiled without the intention of moving.

The God Kings that stood by his side took a step back as they wondered how Alex was planning to fight.

However, it might be due to him being Alex's servant or actually his anger, the God of Wrath, Marcus, jumped toward the meteoroid.

A reddish-purple flame appeared on his hand as he punched that huge meteoroid. The flame then splashed like that of water and engulfed the entire big rock like a slime.

Surprisingly, that big rock began to melt like it was inside magma before disappearing from their vision.

"!!!" The Earth God widened his eyes and looked at the person behind his attack. "God of Wrath!"

Marcus snorted and acted as if nothing happened. He released his killing intent and wrath as he shouted, "I haven't forgotten it yet, Earth God. You all have massacred all the people in my territory and the Goddess of Destiny along with her people. This anger… can even melt everything in this universe. I will be the one to kill you in this battle."

"…" The Earth God clenched his fists. He never found the God of Wrath as his opponent, but that strike earlier showed that he indeed reached the previous generation God Kings' level. The current him started wondering whether he had the strength to face him or not.

Since it was impolite not to return something they gave, Lin Xingzhi also took one step forward as she raised both hands, calling Fire and Lightning Disturbance at the same time. She fused them together and created a stronger one.

"Lightning Fire Dragon Union."

The combined Disturbance formed a dragon and flew straight toward the Supreme Beast. Just like Alex's nonchalant expression, the Supreme Beast knew that someone would appear to block it. And it turned out, the Blood God jumped forward like the God of Wrath.

Red-colored blood appeared out of nowhere as it also formed into a dragon, flying toward Lin Xingzhi's Dragon.

However, this red dragon was obviously weaker than Lin Xingzhi's attack, so the Blood God called another color blood which turned out to be green blood. It reinforced the Dark Red Dragon, forming into armor.

The two dragons then clashed, causing a huge explosion that shook the entire battlefield.

The Blood God snorted and said, "You won't be able to hit my King as long as I'm here."

Lin Xingzhi only shrugged her shoulders and said, "Is that so? We will see it later."

To their surprise, the moment Lin Xingzhi said those words, the Supreme Beast was the one who stepped forward. "Move! You are not strong enough to test him. I will test him myself."

He summoned all six elements simultaneously and fused them together before shooting that rainbow-colored energy toward Alex.

"Gehenna Ray!"

The Supreme Beast wanted to see if Alex still used the same technique to handle this kind of attack since, without a doubt, the power of this technique had improved a lot when he used the Immortal Energy instead of Divine Energy to fuse all the elements.

This time, the Magic Goddess, Alaya, and God of Destruction went forward, trying to block this attack to show that they had the upper hand. As long as Alex hadn't made a move, they could show that they were stronger, raising their morale.

Five magic circles appeared out of nowhere as five star-shaped white lights emerged from the magic circles. The Magic Goddess waved her staff.

"Five Great Stars Magic."

Raiju also used his fist and struck the attack with the Power of Destruction, trying to make the power decay.

"Fist of Destruction."

"Life and Death Coffin. Absorb."

The same applied to Alaya as she called the coffin and absorbed the power of six elements only to find that her coffin rejected this energy and spat it out again. She didn't know that the one that her coffin couldn't swallow was Immortal Energy.

The Supreme Beast only snorted, looking at their useless efforts. The five star-shaped lights were engulfed by the Gehenna Ray, whereas Raiju got pushed back, forcing Alaya to rescue him after finding that they couldn't stop that attack.

This was a shame for Alex because they couldn't show their worth.

Knowing their intention, Alex simply called his sword and gently lifted it up when the attack was about to hit him, deflecting above his head.

"…" The Supreme Beast widened his eyes and knew the only energy that countered his own Immortal Energy was another Immortal Energy. Hence, Alex had also stepped on this stage.

It might be due to his weird Space Element that he managed to stay undercover, making him realize that Alex planned to stay in this Universe for a long time. However, what made him smile was the other meaning. If he wanted to stay in this Universe, he needed to kill him first because he was the biggest hurdle to do that.

Before the Supreme Beast said anything, Alex simply summoned his Fire Lotus above his head and threw all those ten petals toward him.

Since the other side tried to block it, the three among them also tried to do it to show they were stronger, lowering the enemy's morale. This time, the ones who showed up were the Evil God, Vampire Goddess and Demon God.

The Evil God released grey-colored energy, turning them into a huge scythe, impaling the Divine Petals.

"Death Scythe."

Meanwhile, the Vampire Goddess summoned a hundred bats and connected each of them with red-colored thread made of blood, planning to receive the attack from head-on like the God of Destruction and catch all these petals.

"Blood Net."

"Divine-Demonic Blast."

Last but not least, the Demon God created a huge burst of purple-colored energy to weaken all these petals first because they felt the same energy as their King's from these petals.

Unfortunately for them, Alex seemed to have understood another thing in his power during the training. Because his Immortal Energy actually carried both elements, unlike the previous Divine Energy that needed to be fused first, his Divine Petals also had a Space Element covering the Fire Element.

When the Demon God's attack swallowed them, the Space Element bent the attack, deflecting it to another direction while continuing their way without a problem.

Meanwhile, the scythe that was going to impale the petals finally flew down, only to be stopped by three petals. They first bent the scythe blade before exploding to shatter the scythe into pieces.

The same applied to the Vampire Goddess's Blood Net when two petals exploded and reduced the bats to nothing.

There were only five petals left for the Supreme Beast to handle. Since Alex also handled his attack, the Supreme Beast stopped the others from stopping this attack and stepped forward.

The rainbow-colored energy gathered on his paw, turning into his gauntlet.

"Gehenna Gauntlet."

Yet, something was different from his previous Gehenna Gauntlet. It expanded into a giant gauntlet as the Supreme Beast caught all those petals and let them explode inside his hand. Smoke gushed out of his hand, making one think the Supreme Beast was injured.

Unfortunately for them, the Supreme Beast laughed and said, "It's hot, eh?! Why don't you use this fire to light a candle?"

"!!!" The people behind Alex got triggered. To think the beast still looked down on Alex, who seemed to have the same power as him, by saying that his flame was so weak to the point it could only light up a candle. It was so humiliating.

However, Alex maintained his calm and returned that insult with a smirk. "Sure… if it's for your funeral. But I don't think you will die with a burial ground, so I will graciously give you the best cremation with this weak fire of mine. Be grateful."
