Chapter 115: Torture (part 1)

Chapter 115: Torture (part 1)

I took out the rune that I had prepared for 3 days. With my knowledge from my past lives, making any runes is possible for me; if I want, I can even make a new one right here.

I threw the rune on my hands to the ground, and immediately after, a massive circle formed beneath me.

This rune is called the ’No mana room’; anyone who is inside this rune will be exempt from using the mana or any other form of energy.

The time for that varies on the quality of the rune; this is a low-class one; I did not have enough materials to prepare the best one.

But even this is fine to keep that bastard here for 10 minutes.

I could have used my domain too, but it will be noticed by the Legendary Sorcerers present in the castle; if they found out, it will be hard for me to do my work.

There is also the possibility of them sensing the use of this rune, but I am prepared for that.

"Come out, dragon," I said, ordering my first and only undead being to come out.

As my words fell, dark tendrils appeared all over my body and from it appeared a huge dragon that had nothing but bones in it.

Coming out of my domain, it knelt before me and stayed like that, waiting for me to give it the command.

"You know what I want from you, right?" I asked.

To which it nodded its head.

"Good, just don’t die, though I don’t think they will attack you any time soon. And wait for my order to act, I will be sending you a friend to help you."

It wasn’t hard to guess who was gonna be the friend he was going to get. It wasn’t the king, but another poor soul.

He did have a bright future ahead of him, being my servant is the greatest fortune he can get.

As for why I was going to add him in my army... it will be weird for people if they only saw an undead dragon but not the demon that they feared.

"Now go." After that, I sent him away, and it instantly disappeared from its place.

Now I wait. Wait for the main target to come.

I waited for him, leaning my back against the tree.

For some reason, I was feeling relieved. My mind was calm and serene, and there were no thoughts inside my mind.

After a few minutes of waiting, I could faintly hear the sounds of footsteps coming towards me.

He had finished his job.

I leaned there without moving; suddenly, I felt my body going numb for some reason. I opened my eyes slowly, they had turned cold and emotionless.

I watched as two figures entered inside the rune trap that I had set.

They didn’t even notice that they had walked inside the rune.

One wasn’t able to exceed his demonic mana, so it was expected; the other was simply too dumb to feel anything.

Entering inside the rune, the vampire quickly knelt before me and said,

"I have finished my task, sir. Can you please lift this seal from me now?" His voice was timid and shaking, but I wasn’t focused on him right now.

But he was at the king, who had a confused expression on his face.

"You... how are you here?" He asked, even a single word from me was making me puke.

"Truly a pathetic fool." I blurted out with a cold sneer.

"You dared to bare your fangs on them again, even when I warned you before. I should have just killed you back there."

My cold voice escaped my mouth, as I stood before him longer and longer, my heart was pounding more furiously, the anger in me was rising with the increase in heat of my body.

Hearing me, he gritted his teeth, truly an idiot he is, he forgot about that, well, it won’t happen again, he won’t forget the lesson that he was about to learn tonight, even after his death.

I then turned to the vampire and said, "You did well, you can go now... and help your fellow dragon."

He was happy for a moment when I said he could go now, but that smile immediately vanished with my second line.

As my words fell, he started to feel pain in his heart. He rolled down on the ground, the pain gushing all over his body as veins popped up all over him.

His already red pupils turned even redder, and he died, puking out blood from all of his orifices.

It was a painful death.

"Yours is gonna be even better," I commented when I felt fear from the king.

His eyes were glued on the man who brought him here; he couldn’t understand how he died at all.

And as he was feeling more and more perplexed, he was about to see something even more horrifying.

His fear turned into a grave feeling inside him, making his whole body tremble.

His already widened eyes widened even more as if his pupils could fall off right away.

He shook violently as a forgotten feeling took over him. The trauma he faced years ago was coming back to him when he saw the man before him turning into an undead being. After he turned into an undead, he nodded his head at me and disappeared from his place.

He turned to look at me, his pupils shaking violently as he raised his trembling hand, pointing his fingers at me.

"Y-y-y-yo-u... y-you..."

As the feeling of horror filled him, my grin turned into a wicked smile, and I began to laugh like a mad demon.

"Hehehhehheheheh... ahahahahahhaha... oh dear... hehehhehehheh... did you finally get it?"

My menacing laughter grew louder and louder as he shook in fear.

Then, taking a long breath inside me, I looked at him with amusement.

"You must wonder how, how am I still here? Right? Well, you don’t need to know that cause today will be the end of your life, if someone dies, find you sooner, that is."

As my words reached his ears, he tried to throw the last struggle of his, trying to use his demonic mana, but to his surprise and utter shock, he couldn’t do anything at all.

"Don’t overexert yourself, you can never use your powers before me. In this place, no energy is allowed."

I explained to him about the rune, not like he can do anything to me, even after knowing.

"Hmm, since you are not saying anything, let me ask you one thing. I have yet to know why you are collaborating with the vampires, or why they are even helping you. I will know about it sooner anyway, but there is one thing I would like to know from you."

I began to walk towards me as I asked him the questions.

From the moment I knew about his relation with the vampires, I had this doubt in me.

Vampires knew who I was from the ability that I was using. They knew that I was the demon clown that they had heard so much about.

And since they have been here before the path of ascension opened, they must have known my existence before, too.

I used to think he was a fool when he tried to mess with me, but now I feel that no... There was someone else who was giving him instructions.

"That day, when you captured Setsuna, was it your work or that of those vampires?"

Now that I know what Setsuna was capable of, it is hard to think that she lost to someone as pathetic as him.

There must have been an intervention of those mosquitoes.

I would have had no potential with them unless they ran into me and became an obstacle for me. After I am done with him, I will have left them without any hassle.

But if they were involved in that incident, then they would be bound to die. Not a single one of them will be left alive.

He hesitated when asked the question, from the movement of his body, I can tell that they were.

"So you are more afraid of them than me, huh? Seems I need to teach you lessons about who is the one you should fear more."

Now I know that they were involved; there was nothing that was going to stop me from going after them.

And the start of all that will be from him.

I gashed my teeth in anger, raising my legs, I kicked him on the face, breaking his chin in a single blow.

Thanks for reading, everyone.

Damn, my novel has hit rock bottom now, from past 4 days the readers count is even lesser than 100, even my old one has more readers than this. At this rate, I might have to stop now, even though I do not wish for it. I hope I get a weekly soon, otherwise this is doomed.

Stay tuned for more...
