Chapter 56 Hidden Legends Of The Broken World
?In the separate dimension, the gold string floated in the palm of a dark-skinned being as he hovered next to the sun. His golden eyes became brighter as the sun shone in them. The being spoke the name 'Drisilia' as he smiled, but the next moment, a message came from the string and entered his mind as it caused the expression of the being to change instantly. Clenching the golden string in his left palm, he closed his eyes as the next moment, the radiant sun symbols on his body magically lit.
The next instant, the figure of the dark-skinned being vanished from the void as he left the sun. Hundreds of thousands of meters down the earth, the dimension where the Heavenly Sun race dwelled, was an entire civilization of its own. There were hundreds of majestic stone buildings with different types of sun carvings on them. With closer observation, these stone buildings were the same material as the bracelets Drucius wore.
The dimension wasn't significant in size as one could compare it to half the size of the Ju Empire. But despite its landmass, this separate dimension had a sumptuous atmosphere as the beings within it exuded extreme sun energy, causing the dimension to be filled with pure, exuberant essence. With the sun in the void directly shinning on the dimension, it only reinforced the heavenly atmosphere of the dimension.
Within the separate dimension, a castle more majestic than the ordinary stone buildings stood in the center of a city as it stood taller than all the buildings in the city. Above the city, the figure of the dark-skinned man appeared as he hovered above the stone castle. He remained in the air as another figure appeared next to him.
"Brother, I thought you said you would cultivate for a hundred years, but it's only been nineteen."
A man lighter in skin tone spoke as he hovered next to his brother. He also had sun symbols and lines across his body with dreads long enough to reach his shoulders. He floated in the air as he waited for his brother to speak.
"That's because the demons we got rid of twenty thousand years ago had returned, this time with hundred times the previous army. And according to Drisilia, this time, that annoying brat Yaotzin came stronger than ever as even Drisilia couldn't see through his cultivation base."
"Well, it's about time I stretch my arms; things were beginning to get boring anyway. But what about my little nephew?"
The light skin man asked as he began readily stretching his arms. He looked at his brother as he waited for his response.
"According to Drisilia, he is now capable of using the origin strength, and he is currently fighting the demons singlehandedly."
"Hahaha, just like you! The cub of a lion is still a lion. Very well, what's the plan?"
The light-skinned man laughed as he slowly assumed a serious expression; he asked his brother.
"Gather the entire clan; we will be finishing these demons once and for all."
Eastern Continent.
In an unknown location in the outside world of the eastern continent, a man clad in cultivation robes glided through the space void as he rushed towards a certain direction. This man was the Space Sword Immortal; after leaving the Ju Empire, he had been dashing through the space void as he used his space technique tens of times to pass through multiple separate dimensions.
Hours ago, while sprinting through the void, the Space sword immortal heard the dominating words of Yaotzin. But unlike Ju Fan and Ju Shu, he only reacted with an angry grin as he continued strolling the void.
After hours of flashing through the void, the space sword immortal stopped at an unknown location. He stood in a large forest that spread for hundreds of miles. Standing in the middle of the forest, the Space sword immortal stretched his right arm as it touched a barrier; the barrier couldn't be seen with the naked eye but could be felt physically.
"Space wreck."
Crack!
The void before the Space sword immortal made a crack sound as it shattered the next moment; the Sword immortal stepped inside the shattered space as the shattered barrier instantly mended itself. Inside the barrier, the Space sword immortal stood inside a massive ruined hall. Inside the massive hall were destroyed pillars and seats, which had mysterious ancient designs and carvings.
The space sword immortal stood amidst the ruins as he spoke, his voice reverberating in the ruined hall.
"It is time!"
TREMBLE! Crack!
The next instant, the space trembled as cracks began forming in the space inside the hall. Four cracks appeared in the space above the Sword immortal; they appeared from four different corners in the hall. The space sword immortal wasn't surprised the least from the space cracks as he stood calmly and waited for the event to finish.
A being with a fat body stepped out from one of the cracks as he stood over the Space Sword Immortal with hands folded on his chest. He was bald and had sharp eyes with a serious expression; he hovered inside the hall as he watched the other beings emerge from the other three cracks.
From another crack was a man clad in the beast skin of a lion; he had a massive body with shredded muscles. He had a large beast cratch scare on his left eye. This emerged person stepped from the void and hovered in the space above the Space Sword immortal. He had a slight grin expression as he waited for the others.
The last two beings emerged together. One had a slim body while holding a large ball crystal in his hand with another hand behind his back; this person had a long beard with disheveled hair. The last person to emerge hovered in the air with a domineering expression; he had short black hair with multiple lightning sparks dancing in his eyes.
"Cultivating in the Saint tomb had brought significant effects to our cultivation realms; it's time to use that power to eliminate these demons." f𝐫ee𝘄ℯ𝚋no𝐯𝐞l.c𝘰m
The Space Sword immortal spoke as his voice reverberated in the space of the ruined hall. The four newly emerged beings stayed in the air as they listened to him; the fat man was the first to speak as his voice echoed in the hall.
"But the demons aren't the only reason you brought us here, is it?"
With the fat man's words, the other beings looked at the Space Sword Immortal as they awaited his response. Indeed, the space sword immortal sighed as he raised his head and spoke as if seen through.
"Your title as the Scholar immortal indeed fits you; yes, the demons aren't the only reason. There is also the Arkmenian race; I witnessed the arrival of six Arkmenians in the broken realm, but the weird thing was they were slaves chained under the control of the sacred families. And there were six of them."
With the mention of the Arkmenian Race, the expressions of the four hovering beings instantly changed as they exchanged gazes. The man clad in the lion beast skin slowly descended on the ground as he came closer to the Space Sword Immortal as he spoke, his voice sounding like a barbarian, loud and heavy.
"Those hypocrites, what are they doing in the lower realms? I thought they said they wouldn't interfere in the troubles of lower realms except when invaded by humans who they say must be a True Immortal. Bullshit!"
"Calm down, Beast Immortal; let us hear what the Space Sword Immortal has to say."
The man holding the ball crystal spoke as he calmed the Beast Immortal while slowly descending on the ground. The fat man and the other with lightning sparks also descended as they stood not far from the Space Sword Immortal.
"As I said, they didn't come by will; the Sacred families enslaved them. And it seemed the Sacred families had discovered their weakness which restrains their strength and cultivation bases. But the Arkmenians wouldn't be a problem as they will be in check."
Hearing the last part of the Space Sword Immortal's statement, the four men had questionable expressions as they frowned at him, indirectly asking for an elucidation.
"I meant the Arkmenians won't be the overlords in the broken world this time as there is a man whose power was even greater than the Arkmenians, including the Sacred families."
The fat man, the Scholar Immortal, was the first to step closer to the Space Sword immortal as his body jiggled. His frown became more detailed on his face as he asked.
"You say there is someone stronger than the Arkmenians in the lower realms? and this person is currently in the lower realm with the Arkmenians not taking action?"
"No, actually, the reason is....."
After a few minutes of explanation, the Space Sword Immortal relaid the previous events from the Ju Empire as the four men comprehended the situation. Although they trusted the Space Sword Immortal, they didn't completely believe what he said about this Alex person and his unbelievable strength. They were old men with thousands of years of experience, believing that a person capable of holding the Arkmenians in check is living in the lower realms was like them believing that a baby was born immortal. 𝘧r𝘦𝗲w𝘦𝚋𝐧o𝘷𝘦𝙡.co𝑚
The Space Sword Immortal saw the unconvinced faces of the four beings as he understood; even he would have found such a story ludicrous, especially when he mentioned the Arkmenian Race. They knew the capabilities of the Arkmenians; twenty thousand years ago, the invasion of the demons drew the attention of many powerful entities, including a race called the Arkmenians who claimed to be keepers of balance between the immortal world and the lower realms.
But seeing that the demons didn't have cultivations bases, as they are ranked by hierarchy, the Arkmenians watched as the endless amount of demons destroyed the lower realm. Thousands of Saints, equivalent to almost True Immortals, fought for days and even months as the demons spawned an endless army of millions that outnumbered the humans significantly. But, with the aid of the Heavenly Sun clan, who intervened after noticing the distortion of the realm void, and with the sacrifices of many Saints, the humans were finally able to throw the demons from the lower realm.
Although the humans won the war, that left the void of the lower realm cracked and broken as demonic Qi evaded the lower realm, slowly corrupting the Heavenly Qi of the realm as it made cultivation harder for its natives. Some remaining cultivators wanted to vent on the Arkmenians for not helping. Still, one Arkmenian was able to singlehandedly defeat the entire lower realm within seconds, as that left fear of the Arkmenians in the people's hearts. Some families even didn't mention it in their clan history to forget the devastating power of an Arkmenian.
And now the four beings in the ruined hall just listened to the Space Sword Immortal speak of someone stronger than the Arkmenians, and this being was also residing in the lower realm. Such statements only appeared as jokes to the four men.
"Forget it; you will understand once you see him. For now, the demons should be our priority."
The Space Sword Immortal spoke as he vanished from the ruined hall, which was the tomb of the fallen saints. The four men looked at each other one last time as their figures began disappearing from the massive hall.
In the Ju capital, the throne room was full of silence as the cultivators intensely gazed at the illusionary screens produced by the crystal. The guardians, sect representatives, family powerhouses, and rogue cultivators all had shocked expressions as they saw a single dark-skin boy eliminate over ten thousand mountain-looking wolves without even a scratch on him. Ju Shu and Ju Fan were the only two beings who knew what race the boy was from, as they witnessed the same dark-skin race participate in the human-demon war twenty thousand years ago.
Patrick sat on the throne as he watched the screen with a bored expression while Grace's voice sounded.
"Master, it seems you will be having a fun time as the Arkmenians wouldn't be able to handle that Yaotzin as his power can be compared to a Star entity. And in their demon hierarchy, he is a demon god."
"A star entity, huh, well even if the humans won, I would have brought them back to have fun."
