Chapter 18: Athenas voice

Chapter 18: Athena's voice

Ares looked at Hera excitedly and said, “Mother, are you serious?”

Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, was the embodiment of love and beauty and the most feminine of the gods.

No matter which male god it was, they all coveted her beauty. Even his father, the greatest King of the Gods, was included.

It’s just that because Hera was too tight, Zeus never had a chance to start.

But because of this, no male god dared to force Aphrodite to marry him.

Ares was also one of Aphrodite’s many admirers, long obsessed with this most beautiful god.

But none of them chased her.

Seeing his anxious look, Hera said lightly, “Of course, I won’t lie to you; as long as Apollo dies, I will give you Aphrodite.”

Seeing that Hera made a promise, Ares did not care that he would offend his father and immediately nodded.

“Okay, I will take off the head of Leto’s son. Mother, wait for your promise.”

Ares laughed and walked outside. Looking at his departing back, the look of disgust in Hera’s eyes intensified.

Taking out the crystal, she said coldly to herself, “Apollo, why are you not my child… I can only blame you for being too good, and now I can only make you never get on Olympus. “

……

“It turns out you also received an invitation from the goddess Amphitrite. Then we can go together.” Astraea was surprised.

When the day came, she left Rivia with Apollo and Hecate and flew over the sea.

Apollo was confused as he thought about Prince Triton’s upcoming coming-of-age celebration. There seemed to be a lot of gods that Amphitrite had specially invited.

But I’m merely an Upper God and headed to the Sea Emperor Shrine for the treasure chest. “Advanced treasure chest; I wonder what good things can be opened.” Apollo’s heart was pounding with excitement.

The Palace of the Sea Emperor Poseidon was in the depths of the sea. Apollo and the others made their way through the ocean levels to the deep sea. A beautiful and majestic palace appeared in front of them.

There were many gods stationed at the palace entrance, but Amphitrite, the Queen of the Sea, personally stood at the entrance to greet the visitors.

Seeing Apollo and others from a distance, she called out in a joyful voice, “Astraea, Hecate, and Apollo, I didn’t expect you to come here together.”

Astraea walked ahead and gave a slight salute, “I visited Hecate recently, so I came along today. Goddess Amphitrite, you are so hospitable, how you are greeting so early in the morning.”

Amphitrite smiled lightly and said, “It’s not that I’m worried about the gods under my command being careless and offending you, guests.”

“Come on, go and sit inside first and get close to my Triton. You young gods should be together more so there will be no conflicts in the future.”

Under the guidance of Amphitrite, Apollo and the others came to the shrine.

In a palace full of gorgeous ornaments, there were already quite a few gods sitting; among them was a blue-haired boy who looked elegant and kind.

The gods inside stood up to greet the three of them when they saw their arrival.

“Goddess Astraea, you are as beautiful as ever.”

“Goddess Hecate, you are so cleanly dressed today.”

The gods’ attention was concentrated on Astraea and Hecate, and few of them paid attention to Apollo.

Only the blue-haired boy at the top stood up and walked to Apollo, smiling, and said, “You’re Apollo, the son of the goddess Leto and His Majesty the King of the Gods, right? Mother said you’re a handsome and extraordinary deity that one can’t help but admire when they see it, and she was right.”

“Prince Triton is more beautiful.” Apollo looked at him with a smile.

Then, the other gods noticed Apollo and whispered to each other.

“This is the child of the goddess Leto. I heard that when he was born, the sky floated with the morning sun’s light, and the vast scene was no less than when the goddess Athena was born.”

“Well, he is indeed a beautiful and extraordinary god, and I can feel that his divine power seems to be very powerful. He was born less than 20 years ago, and I am sure he is more powerful than all of us.”

“I just don’t know when he will have a chance to ascend to Olympus. I heard that the goddess Hera has already tried to plot against him several times.”

“Well, it depends on His Majesty the King of gods. I don’t know why, His Majesty, the King of gods, has not shown up since Goddess Leto gave birth.”

The gods were talking.

Apollo, however, looked around indifferently, quietly looking for the displayed advanced treasure chest.

Just then, a cold laugh came steeply from outside.

“It’s just a wild species born by Father outside. There are several like him every year. How many of them can ascend to Olympus?”

The gods gazed over and saw that a thick armor, holding a giant sword emitting a raging aura of the god of war, Ares, was coldly approaching.

His eyes were full of tyranny, and he stared at Apollo indifferently.

In an instant, the entire palace was silent.

Triton, the master, hurriedly stood up to smooth things out, “Lord Ares, I didn’t expect you to come to my coming-of-age ceremony too.”

Unexpectedly, Ares just gave him a cold glare without giving a face, “Get out of the way; I’m not talking to you.”

Saying that, he pushed Triton away, strode up to Apollo, and said condescendingly: “Only I, Ares, is the best son of the King of the Gods, and the rest of you are not worthy of the blood of the God Father.”

“Really? Do you think I want the title of the son of Zeus?”

Apollo’s eyes became icy as he saw the powerful aura approaching.

Just then, a soft laugh came from outside. “Alas, younger brothers just owe it to themselves and like to be embarrassed outside, leaving me helpless as a sister.”

As soon as this voice appeared, Ares’ face turned red.

He clenched his palms tightly and looked back, his throat almost growling, “Athena, you are here too!”
