Chapter 35 Industry Duo

The boy had white hair, green eyes looking completely different from the rest of the family. I walked in with Amelia when everyone noticed us.

"Well, well. Look who decided to show up after all these months. Son, come inside. How was your journey? I heard you had to visit several contries for this one. " Donald said.

" It was uneventful. We had some shooting in Malta. We had to build a small version of Colosseum which was a castle. Let's talk about it later and get to the main subject. " I said, looking in the direction of the boy.

" Yes, Sister Laura; I never thought we had such a cute boy in the family." Amelia added with curiousity.

Laura followed our sight and smiled.

" This is our son, Samuel. I am sorry, I couldn't tell you sooner. I didn't know how to tell you about it. " Laura said apologetically.

I thought, "Adopted, huh, they finally went ahead with it. The news of Laura's inability was devastating, and they were considering it, but to surprise us like this seems excessive. Oh well, I am happy for them." While I was deep in thought, the boy stood up and said--

" Uncle George, Aunt Amelia, I am Samuel. I heard so much about you from everyone. Please take care of me from now on. " He bowed at the end.

" Really? I highly doubt it Sami; I know these people. They are all workaholics. Robert and Laura are always busy with their business. Mother Patricia has her hands full with Father. The other couple are a shadow government in a literal sense, and I will not even consider Mary and Peter. You are sensible but you don't have to hide things. " Amelia said with a smirk and looked at everyone's dumbfolded expression. They truly forgot about them.

They felt completely defenseless in front of my wife's eyes. I looked at her, lovingly remembering the past when she took my heart away with her sassy and quirky character. They were about to give up when Old Man Arthur came to the rescue.

" Madam, I have briefly explained to the young master. You don't have to worry about it in this regard. " free𝒘ℯ𝗯𝙣𝗼ν𝑒𝗹.𝒄o𝒎

" That doesn't change the fact that they forgot, humph " Amelia retorted; not wanting to back down, but it only made her look cute and childish.

Everyone started laughing when Mary and Peter entered the fray. They heard about George and Amelia's arrival from a housekeeper.

" Sister Amelia, you are finally here! I waited for a long time. Let's go out shopping and discuss about the latest Holl-- news. " She stopped mid sentence, but Amelia knew all about Mary's obsession with gossip, specially about Hollywood. Amelia ran a talent agency which made her a hub of information regarding behind the scenes of Hollywood.

" Big brother, this time I have improved a lot. I can do several more poses and have mastered new moves. You have to cast me in your next action movie. I will be careful I promise." Then came Peter demanding a role for the action scene. Battle freak as always. I and Amelia sighed and sat down.

[Amelia's Perspective]

It's been a few days since I arrived. The first time I heard about George's background was scary to me. We were already engaged at that time and very much in love. He never acted like a rich person. Both of us were career-focused from the beginning; I more so to prove to my parents that I could survive in this industry despite it being a vicious industry for females.

It was during such a battle I got acquainted with George; at first I thought he was just like everyone else, trying to exploit me; but the when I got to know him; he changed my perspective. The rest, they say, is history.

I still remember the first meeting with his family. I thought they would reject me outright; I have heard so many vile things about wealthy people. How they were self-centered and always wanted to protect their image, and those people do exist, but they were enthusiastic about me.

I was confused, but when I learned more about the family. I understood it better; they were all working maniacs and neglected personal life. George was like that, too; He had his fair share of dating experience in his early years. But when he found his passion; he got into it to the point of obsession, which made his family worried; but when he casually brought me to meet them, it filled them with expectation. They never cared about image; after all, they were at the top of the food chain. Does the lion care about what the deer thinks? absolutely not! 𝐟r𝒆ℯ𝘄𝑒𝒃𝚗𝒐𝘃e𝗹.c𝘰𝐦

Now There is another person joining the family, Samuel. The more I learned about him, the more shocked I felt about the whole situation.

He is respectful, sensible, and cares about others. He doesn't behave like a typical ten year old, but is way smarter. Apparently, he is the author of Hobbit, which has been making waves in the book industry recently. He also established a company with the help of Robert. Laura also told me about his ailment; he was a person who was blind a few months ago, which made it more absurd.

His appearance is godly, with a supreme temperament which will definitely make huge splashes once he grows up. I wonder how many girls will be head over heels for him in the future.

All these points were extremely appealing to someone like me; He could become a star in the future.

Recently I got the call from a new movie which wanted to cast several children who specifically wanted children of British and Irish origins. I came to London with the objective of casting several children but never thought to encounter one right in front of me. If he could act or sing, it would be even better.

I already had a firm footing in the industry, but with Samuel's help, I can clearly stand out from the rest. I have clearly seen Samuel's personality these few days, which perfectly matched a humble celebrity. Now I just have to convince the family and find a way to bring it up first. According to their love for Sami, it will be very hard. Sigh.
