Chapter 631: Half Blood Prince Premier-4

Samuel walked toward his fans that were going ham seeing him in person. No matter what kind of rumours were floating around in the news, they always fully supported him. Many thoughts his actions were understandable when his team put out their own statement about the matter along with the video evidence.

They were here to support him and it showed on their faces. Samuel went around signing autographs and took photos with them before walking toward Tom who hugged him. They greeted each other before Tom went inside.

The rain was pouring like crazy, even if he stood under the umbrella the gusts would dampen his clothes within minutes. Samuel on the other hand was unfazed by it not because he liked to get wet, there were three people holding protective gear getting themselves wet in the rain so that he didn't have to.

" Are you fine? We can move to side if-" Seeing him standing in the rain, the lady reporter wanted him to come inside the large umbrellas' that were erected for people standing outside.

" It's fine." He smiled and continued," It's a little bit inconvenient but we can get through this. Spot of rain this is nothing but same couldn't be said about my phone. I hope it works after this." He was ready for her to ask some hard questions, it was a good move to make them more comfortable while being funny.

" What do you think about your character in this one?" She didn't ask him anything out of the ordinary.

" There is a lot more hormones, there is romance. I can surely say that he is more tougher this time and at the end he goes through hell of a time with Dumbledore so you can look forward to that. Oh, Hail, hail!" Samuel flinched feeling the rain turn to hail. Several small solid ice of the size of finger nails began barraging the umbrella that became his cue to go inside.

" Just one last question before you leave. While we are on the topic of romance, what was it like to have the long awaited kiss between Harry and Jenny?"

" Well obviously, to kiss my beautiful co star is not particularly challenging thing to do as an actor. There is a lot of action stuff too which I love. But yeah, it's great. Everyone should go see it, I can vouch that it will be a memorable experience for everyone." Samuel finished saying his piece and moved inside.

As Stephen said, there was a man waiting for him who started guiding him toward the press conference venue. Samuel had been inside the building countless times and was aware of the large hall at the middle of it.

He didn't understand why Stephen would send someone specific to act as his guide.

" You should wait here for a while. Someone will call you and you can follow them to get to the stage."

" Why all the secrecy?" He asked.

" I don't know but seeing the large crowd of reporters. I think the studio was worried about causing a uproar is you went through the wrong entrance. I feel like every media company send at least on people to this press conference and that's not counting the foreign media outlets. It was quite a buzz in the office when they started receiving mail after mail eager to apply for a spot."

" Don't tell me-" Samuel was about to say it but the man knew what he was asking.

" Yes, it was a first come first serve along with a hefty price tag."

" That old geezer!" Samuel gritted his teeth trying to calm himself down. Were the shareholders that worried about not making money that they decided to pimp him out for small change?

Soon, someone came and called him to get on stage. Samuel was able to hear their conversation from the room next door and knew they never mentioned his name to any of his co-stars. It was just normal routine questions asked about the new movie and tidbits about their personal life.

He walked out confidently and as he expected, he was bombarded with flashes. He felt like someone was flickering thousands of light bulbs at his face not caring about whether he go blind or pass out because of epileptic seizure!

He sat down upright nodding toward the anchor for the press confirmation as a sign that he was ready to take questions. He looked straight and on the top of his head could count tens if not hundreds of journalist sitting neatly with excited faces.

He didn't feel the hostility that he was expecting, it was understandable because they were paid to be here but they looked eager for the interview to start. He could also point of few of them who looked more like a fan than a reporter.

" Alright everyone, if I have you attention we will be beginning the round of questioning. The staff will guide the microphone directly to you if you have any questions, this is just a reminder but please be respectful with your questions."

He turned toward Samuel and asked," Did you have a sound journey? I hear that it's been raining heavily outside?"

" Yeah, it's pouring with some hail mixed within but I had a comfy ride here and also met up with some fans along the way." Samuel answered with a smile.

The anchor moved toward the crowd and pick one of the people for her question.

" Hello."

" Hi"

" I just want to ask you why you don't like to do other side projects between your films. Is these movies so taxing that you can't show yourself out in the public for whole year or are you just camera shy?" Seeing Samuel's smile, she just fumbled her question and stretched it out to make it more confusing.

" hahaha, I don't know about me being camera shy because I am an actor but why I don't do other projects is a little personal. I have a lot of things to take care of throughout the year which is why I don't do public appearances. Many of you might have seen me out and about but failed to recognize me because I like go out incognito." Samuel answered.

She was more enamored by his small dazzling laughter than to hear what he had to say. She was also sitting in the front row which made it harder for her to ignore his charms!
