Chapter 680: Green London Pine Tree-2

The group quickly found the patch of land with Pine trees. It was a species of pine tree that was native to the United Kingdom. It's an evergreen tree that was known for its tall, slender shape and its dark green needles.

This Pine Tree was a popular choice for landscaping and was often used as a decorative tree in gardens and public spaces. Many of them were planted around the Estate for aesthetics and they were all transported from this stretch of land.

" How big are we talking this time?" Samuel inspected each tree. The older a tree was the harder and more specialization it would require to transport it.

They never much cared about cutting it down in the past but few years back, Samuel suggested that instead of cutting, they should uproot the whole tree. There were many empty places so they could just relocate it after the holiday.

No matter how abundant these pine trees were, it would take years if not decades for each tree to grow big enough to be used as decoration. It would be a shame to throw them away so instead Samuel devised to go for a much younger tree, so that it wouldn't die after getting planted somewhere else.

" There are a lot of children so.."

" Right, how about this?" Samuel tapped one of the young tree that appeared to be almost ten meter tall. It was lush green and looked to be in pristine condition. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm

" That big? Will we able to pull it?" Arthur asked. It was a grueling process of hours of digging and trying not to damage roots extensively.

" It will be fine." Samuel had the final say for the matter. He was afterall a general expert when it came to these things, no one questioned where he learned it from because in their eyes, he was able to do things. It wasn't surprising after seeing him pull it off countless times in the past.

They picked up the tools and started digging, with everyone's effort they were able to get to the roots in an hour. Samuel tied a thick rope around the tree and instructed them to pull. They also brought a mini excavator to make things easier. They were able to finish the job within an hour which was a record time even for them.

" Now let's get this bad boy home."

" I will see if they are ready for it. I already informed them about the general height of the tree.."

" It's alright. Even like this, it wouldn't die quickly. We have plenty of time to plant it."

...

...

...

As expected, as soon as they came out of the forest every children was waiting for them. They must have heard the sound of excavator carrying the tree because they were cheering long before anyone of them exited the forest.

Only Elise looked confused wondering why everyone was behaving like this. She came to Samuel's side flailing her arms around feeling anxious.

" Hehehe, did you miss me that much?" Samuel picked her up and asked. She shook her head and pointed toward the kids and said," Why? They are acting weird."

" Come on. I will show you." He walked as kids followed the excavator. The staff were making them stand few feets away so that they didn't hurt themselves. After ew minutes, they came to the clearing where people could be seen prepping the ground.

They briskly walked toward the tree and began to inspect it. The dimensions needed to be measured so that it could stand tall. There was always a probability that it could fall which would be disastrous considering kids like to run around it.

" Alright everyone!" Arthur shouted gathering everyone's attention.

" You know what to do right? I hope you have prepared it because after few hours we will not be taking any applications!"

" Yay~" The kids cheered and began to run away. They were going to get the 'thing' that they were working on for few days now. Even Grayson ran back to his room to get his 'thing'. Elise tilted her head seeing everyone disappear before her eyes.

" Are you curious?" He asked to which she nodded.

" For decorations, we ask everyone to prepare something that they could hang up on the tree. It could be anything, painting, ribbons, clothes etc. Just big enough so that everyone could have a chance."

" Anything?" Her eyes gleamed hearing him.

" What? Do you have something that you want to display?"

" Un!" She started wiggling which was a sign that she wanted to get off. Samuel chuckled and let her go as she dashed straight toward the party. Samuel knew she must be going to ask Mayra as she knew where Elise usually put her stuff. It would take some time, but he decided to reserve a good spot for her.

Soon, kids began arriving holding the things that they wanted to hang up. He went around and talked to them because many of them prepared pictures that they drew at home.

" It's young master, holding the sword to slay the dragon!"

" It's my mother cooking my favorite meal!"

" Young master, fighting bad guys like in the movies!"

" It's...a flower." Read further on novelbuddy

" It's my favorite shoes!"

" This is my favorite dress but it doesn't fit anymore.."

There was wide variety of things but thirty percent of it was either his painting that was too obscure to make out who was in it or something related to him. He smiled seeing how popular he was among children. He patted their heads waiting for Elise and Grayson to come.

Grayson came back panting trying to catch his breath. He ran the whole way so that he didn't miss any good spot. He was holding what appeared to be fur?

" Is that-"

" It's the hair that I collected over the weeks. Isn't it cool?"

" Hair?"

" Yeah, it's King's hair."

" Oh."

Samuel could see the greyish color of Grayson's favorite horse, King the Irish thoroughbred. He must be thinking about it for a long time because it was neatly prepared as a type of dusting brush with ample hairs intricately held together by a golden thread.

After some time, Elise also came back running. The kids already began to debate where they would like to hang up their stuff. Everyone wanted to show off what they prepared to their family but they didn't need to worry about it.

Samuel prepared special lights that would be placed at an angle right around their pieces so that it would be visible even at night.

" This?"

" I want to hang this up. This was the first gift that Sami gave me." She handed him the small pink dress. It was something that he bought for her in Paris.

" Are you sure? Wasn't it your favorite dress?" He had seen how careful she was when she wore it.

" It's alright." She gave him the sweetest smile. Samuel was a little touched, he patted her head warmly and handed the dress to people that were finishing up on decoration. Instead of the giant star at the top, this time they were going to hand her dress as the centerpiece.

With sufficient lighting, Samuel was sure it wouldn't lose to the most fancy decorations in the world!
