Chapter 234 - Beings On The Moons

Chapter 234 Beings On The Moons

Camelot could not believe it. He had a good impression of William.

He did not know why. But the more he looked at William, the more he found him interesting. He felt like he was looking at his son!

William watched the affinity points of Camelot increase silently. William was surprised and wary.

Even a sage could succumb to his peerless suaveness.

But those ignorant Elves below did not even care about William’s looks.

What would that mean?

They were prejudiced against him.

It did not make any sense!

Their affinity points did not drop either.

“Perhaps, they aren’t Elves…” William’s endowment was very interesting. It specified that besides dark creatures, all other creatures, plants, animals, and even Gods would have a good impression of him.

Unless there was a feud between William and them!

“Hmm, the personal guards of the Second Prince must be disguised as dark creatures. It is coherent with the behavior of the Elves.” William started to recall his memories.

But Camelot interrupted William’s thoughts and said teasingly, “Introduce yourself, little Lord.”

William blinked and said, “I’m William Blackleaf. I was born in Dark Night City. My father is a Human, and my mother is the Blackleaf Princess. Two years ago, I succeeded my father’s border town with a population of less than 3,000.

After two years of development, the City of Dawn has more than 500,000 inhabitants. During war times, I can conscript up to 50,000 soldiers.”

“Oh, that is what I heard from Annie too. Why do you think you can leave with Annie?” Camelot said. He was hinting for William to show his worth. Otherwise, William would not be able to leave with Annie.

William frowned awkwardly. He wanted to tell the sage that he was a Half-Elf, so he did not have any powerful support!

His prince title was superficial!

Camelot nonchalantly glanced at William. Camelot had survived from the second era until now, and he possessed a wealth of experience as the Great Elder.

The second era was the age in which the Elves were the most powerful but also the most vulnerable.

Towards the end of the second era, due to the thousand years of Darkness invasion, most of the pureblood Elves had been killed.

Especially after the World Tree was destroyed, the leaders of the Elves and the Humans made a decision.

Arranged marriages of the Elves and Humans started to happen, and many Half-Elves were born. It was done to benefit from the combat power of the hybrid race.

Half-Elves… They were the crux to defeating the dark creatures!

And a bane to the pureblood Elves.

The Half-Elves had the constitution of the Elves and the rapid growth of the Humans. Unfortunately, they inherited the complex psychology of the Humans like betrayal, lies, and scheming…

As such, the trusting pureblood Elves suffered greatly at the hands of the Half-Elves.

There were Half-Elf heroes as well as Half-Elf villains.

When the pureblood Elves moved out of the prosperous continent, the Half-Elves started to set up their neutral factions. They did not align themselves with either the Humans or the Elves.

Camelot observed that the Blackleaf Elves could endure the humiliation, give up their last names, and retreat into the Blackleaf forest. It was an indication that they had a wise leader.

In this Epic era, some factions would definitely support William.

He wanted to know who was supporting William so that he could deploy a portion of his clansmen to follow William.

“Since there is a chance for a new life, there must be a plan to preserve the bloodline.” Camelot looked at William. He was hoping that William could show that he was worth the investment.

After a few minutes, William did not say anything to prove his worth. He did not divulge any matters relating to support from the leaders of the Blackleaf Elves.

William merely shrugged and said, “The Gods and devils will descend from the alternate dimension!”

Then he pointed to the ground and continued. “The Darkness invasion is only the beginning. The fourth era has commenced!”

Then, William pointed towards the sky. “There are beings on the three moons.”

At this moment, the eyes of Camelot lit up. He deeply gazed at William and pondered for some time before saying, “Don’t mention the moons. Never tell anyone about this.”

“I understand.” William nodded.

“Who told you this?” Camelot asked.

There were beings on the three moons!

Mmmmmp!

Who divulged this information?

The leaders were knowledgeable about the Darkness invasion, the fourth era, the descent of the Gods and devils.

But the moons… who would tell a small kid?

That was right.

In Camelot’s eyes, William was just a kid, a reckless kid without a beard.

Prince pouted his lips and shouted, “My father!”

“Pffff.” Camelot cursed in his heart. “Have you seen your father? Even before you were born, your father had already vanished into the alternate dimension!”

The fact that William knew about the moons indicated that his father had faith in William. Camelot felt relieved.

He said, “Tomorrow, you’ll bring Annie and her mother’s 200,000 clansmen back.”

“200,000 clansmen?” William’s eyes were widened. He was not pleasantly surprised. He was shocked!

William had never thought about the background of Annie’s mother. He believed that her mother would be at least Legendary or Epic.

If these clansmen stayed at the City of Dawn, who would they obey?

There was a possibility that the City of Dawn could be occupied by Annie and her clansmen…

What about William?

He might be relegated to an insignificant role…

When powerful professionals stayed in his territory, William was wary.

The appearances of Old Band and Moses in the City of Dawn were coincidences. William made use of his charm to increase their affinity points.

Camelot observed that William was stunned. He smiled and said, “Don’t worry that there will be powerful professionals joining you. They will remain here to continue the battle. But remember, don’t send my clansmen to their deaths!”

“I understand.” William understood the intention of Camelot.

Camelot was making arrangements for his clansmen.

William thought that Camelot was afraid he was unable to defeat Cronus. So he was sending away some of his clansmen to preserve the bloodline.

Camelot waved his hand. He knew what William was thinking about just by his looks!

Pfff!

It was nothing like that. Camelot just thought that it was not worth his effort to beat up Cronus, his grandson.

The Moonlight Elves had lived a good life on the Legendary continent for too long.

They occupied the central location on the Legendary continent that had three types of pureblood Elves.

The Blackleaf Elves stayed at the Blackleaf forest, while the Snow Elves inhabited the desolate northern Iceland.

Moonlight Island was surrounded by the internal lake of the continent. The outer boundary consisted of three Human empires.

The Moonlight Elves had been trading with Humans for the past thousands of years without any wars.

As such, the Moonlight Elves had gotten soft.

Hence, this was a good opportunity to make use of fresh blood to spur the Moonlight Elves to greater heights.

“Death is not frightening. The frightening thing is the loss of courage of the clansmen when it’s time to fight.”

Camelot had gone through a lot. Since Cronus had made some plans, his grandfather would entertain him!

After all, if the sages did not perish.

The clan would survive!
