Chapter 89 Law!

?"Ultra mana fireball explosion!!!"

Casting the spell, Elric quickly shouted a set of random names that came to his mind, thankfully the actual names and pronunciation of spells don't affect the spell's actual ability.

Now that Elric cast the spell, his whole figure was suddenly engulfed by a huge fireball

It was so huge with a diameter of about five metres, and a temperature so hot that almost everything around it became ashes just from its residual heat waves.

"Damn monster, that's what you get for messing with my family"

Although he said this, Elric still looked towards the burning flames with scrutiny after all he needed to make sure whatever that demon-like figure was completely turned to ashes just like everything else around it.

"Young master! Hurry up and leave here, Ristarte's not dead yet!"

Just when Elric was thinking about what that figure could have been, a loud shout came into his ear.

Turning sideways, Elric noticed it was Alvin carrying Davis over his shoulder. Luckily as soon as Alvin felt the heat from the incoming fireball, he felt like he was able to move again.

So realising this, Alvin quickly rushed up and picked up Davis carrying him over his shoulder as he made his way outside Elric's spell splash range

Thankfully, it seemed Alvin's quick reactions saved both his and Davis's life, as rather than being burned alive with Ristarte, they only had a few blisters on their body from the heat wave

Now hearing Alvin say something, Elric couldn't help but feel guilty.

Due to being dazzled by rage, he unknowingly cast the spell without considering whether Alvin or Davis would be affected by it

And now seeing both of them okay, Elric felt conflict, relieved that both of them were okay and disappointed in himself for ignoring such a crucial matter

"Young master! Hurry up and leave here, Ristarte's not dead yet!"

Just when Elric was about to continue sulking, the voice of Alvin came through his ears again.

However this time, the urgency in his tone could be heard further. Thinking of this, Elric knew he had to answer him

Slapping his face a bit, Elric shoved all his guilt, anger, and uncertainty to the back of his mind as he face Alvin

Lucky, Alvin didn't seem to care about Elric's mental state as he quickly told him the crux of the matter

Starting from how Ristarte was an abyss demon all the way till the fact that he was immune to almost all elemental attacks, under Alvin's sense of urgency, he quickly explained everything he could in just a few minutes.

*Boom!*

Just when Alvin was about to continue speaking, a large boom sound was suddenly heard.

Following the vibrations, cracks began to appear on the ground, as a huge and ominous presence suddenly radiated out of the fireball's centre

Feeling this pressure, the faces of both Alvin and Elric turned solemn.

"Alvin, you take Davis and head back to Hogwarts!"

Just judging from the oncoming aura, Elric knew that round two was about to start, however before they started, Elric decided to send Alvin and Davis back, after all, given the plan he had, both of them might be the key to defeating Ristarte

So Elric knowing that Alvin would obviously not agree to leave him a line, Elric quickly whispered into his ear and told him the plan

And as Elric expected, as soon as Alvin heard the plan, a tangled expression appeared on his face

According to Elric's plan, he would go back to Hogwarts and Immediately lead all the students to go practice

Both those that could sense mana and those that couldn't, according to Elric, he needs as many human power banks as possible

Hearing the word 'power bank' Alvin just thought it was another one of Elric's weird words that nobody understood.

Thankfully, Although he didn't know what that word meant, Alvin could still decipher the meaning behind Elric's plan

And given the current situation, Alvin knew he didn't have much of a choice.

If he chose to stay with Elric, there is a high probability he and Davis would become burdens as soon as the battle started, after all, given their injuries, fighting with Ristarte at this point is tantamount to suicide

While on the other hand, if he chose to follow Elric's plan, while also supplying a steady stream of power, without any distractions beside him, the probability of Elric surviving if not winning against Ristarte is way higher

Closing his eyes, Alvin knew he didn't have a choice, so after deciding to hurry back to Hogwarts, ignoring his injuries Alvin gave Elric a deep bow of thanks while wishing him safety in the process.

Now at this moment, with the exit of Alvin and Davis, only Elric and the currently engulfed-in flames Ristarte remained.

"Hew hew hew"

"It seems another human has come to join the fun!"

"Human, are you ready to die?"

Just as Elric was thinking about what to do next, a slightly hoarse voice came out from the fire

Looking closer, Elric could now be completely sure that Ristarte was not dead

*Boom!*

Not giving anyone a chance to react, Ristarte stamped his feet on the ground completely dissipating the flame around him

Soon under Elric's shocked gaze, the fireball which he channelled most of his mana and exhausted almost all his mental strength to cast was snuffed out like a candle

With it, Ristarte's figure was revealed up close to Elric for the first time

This time, Ristarte was almost completely the same as before, with the same red skin, wing, and horn. However this time his body was completely covered in burn marks

Feeling the residual pain on his body, Ristarte couldn't help but look towards Elric with shock

"Impossible!"

"How could a mere human like you possess the power of law?!"

Feeling the residual power on his injuries, the astonishment on Ristarte's face increased.

Law!

This is the power only possessed by higher beings, yet he felt it on a mere human, how could this be?

Thinking of this, his gaze toward Elric gradually turned serious.
