Chapter 99 Amazons!

At this moment the night was in full swing, and unknown to Alvin and the rest, their location had already been detected.

"Lord Melinda, do you feel that? Since a few minutes ago, It feels like we're being watched!"

Sitting in a closed Hutt not too far from the main campfire, a certain discussion was taking place

With a height of two metres tall, sitting on a large throne decorated with the bones and flesh of various beasts, a red-haired woman sat exuding a dominating presence. f𝚛e𝚎𝘄𝒆𝚋𝚗𝚘ѵ𝑒𝚕.𝑐𝘰𝑚

Sitting with her long braided hair running down her shoulders, black eyes that seemed deep as the abyss, and a muscular physique being highlighted by her visible eight-pack set, Melinda had a dignified look as her eyes vigilantly scanned the surroundings.

Just now, in the middle of the ceremony Melinda and some of her guards seemed to feel many gazes suddenly descend in their direction, and she with the habit of always trusting her gut feelings, immediately left the ceremony halfway as she and some of her advisors discussed a plan

Sadly, although she is known as the strongest in the tribe and also its head, Melinda herself knew she wasn't good at formulating plans, traps, and stuff like that, to her one spear and a fist are enough to solve all problems

But considering the fact that it was currently nightfall and all of them were severely weakened, Melinda knew she had to act with caution

Looking at the three advisors kneeling before her, Melinda for the first time couldn't help but hope her feelings were wrong, and maybe the feelings just now were purely coincidental.

Unfortunately, what happened next, could be said to be the opposite of what she wanted.

With the confirmation of the first advisor, the second third all spoke out indicating they felt the same gaze. At this point, Melinda knew there was no hope

"Morgana, what do you think we should do now?".

Morganna!

Among the three advisors present, Melinda can be said to trust Morgana the most. As the second strongest in the tribe and having contributed various sets of plans and ideas to the tribe, Melinda believes that without her presence, they as a tribe wouldn't be where they are today.

Now looking at Morgana's figure beside her, Melinda's tense expression lightened slightly knowing she was still there beside her.

In fact, after hearing Morgana speak up, Melinda wasn't the only one relieved as the two other advisors Minerva and Rowena also looked more comfortable, obviously Morgana's words held a lot of value.

Unknowingly, the power in the room had abruptly shifted from Melinda to Morgana, however no one seemed to find anything wrong as Melinda continued the conversation trying to brainstorm for ideas.

"Lord Melinda, why don't we just stop the ceremony halfway and go into defensive positions? That way none of us would end up getting caught off guard??" Asked Rowena

However, as soon as the rest of them heard Rowena's idea, a bit of hesitation appeared on their faces

"Rowen! Do you know what you're talking about? This is our once-a-year ceremony thanking God Zeus for protecting our Amazon tribe!"

"However, you want to suddenly cut it abruptly because of a few eyes!?"

"Impossible!"

"What if God Zeus suddenly decides to destroy us because he thinks we've lost our faith in him!"

Hearing Rowena's words, Minerva's reaction was the loudest, as various emotions such as disbelief, fear, astonishment and many more ran through her face as she couldn't believe what she just heard.

In fact, after hearing Rowena's words, a strange slight flashed in Morgana's eyes. Unfortunately, no one was paying enough to see it.

Soon time passed, and a successful conclusion hadn't been drawn. Sadly, no matter which side came up with a plan, one or two flaws would be picked out making the plan scrapped.

*Boom!*

Just when Melinda was about to signal for them to stop bickering, a large explosion suddenly sounded from outside their hut

Hearing this, Melinda's face suddenly became serious

"They're here, it seems like the enemy doesn't want to give us enough time to make a plan"

Stepping down from her throne, Melinda grabbed a huge broad sword which was usually strapped behind her, and stepped forward filled with fighting intent

And the rest seeing her like this, didn't hesitate and followed suit by pulling out their weapons

Soon, all of them were fully equipped facing the exit of the hut with a dignified expression on their face

"Follow me, let's go greet the enemy!"

"Let him know that we Amazons are never afraid!"

Shouting impassionedly, Melinda took a big stride stepping out of the hut as she readied to greet the enemy.

Unfortunately, as soon as Melinda stepped out of the hut, what greeted her was a scene that left her burning in rage upon sight.

No longer was the scene of people dancing happily dancing around a fire taking place, rather something horrible had taken place.

The ground was filled with cracks and scorch marks, obviously some sort of alteration must have happened during their earlier conversation

The tribesmen who were supposed to be dancing were tied up and tossed on the floor at the feet of a group of people holding strange bone weapons

And at the head of this group, a somewhat short and strange-looking person held a bone staff shouting 'explosion!' from time to time with a hint of crazy in his eyes.

If Elric were here, he'd known this was Alvin, and obviously it seemed like he was about to go crazy with explosions again.

Unfortunately, Melinda didn't know this, if not, she'd know to stay away from Alvin whenever he was In such a state.

Sadly she didn't, resulting in her being unable to react to Alvin's next move.

At this time, seeing Melinda come out of the hut, Alvin who had already started to go crazy suddenly raised his staff as he showed a wired smile toward her

Not waiting for her to respond, he slowly pointed it toward her as he said one word.

"Explosion!!"f𝚛e𝗲𝔀e𝚋𝑛o𝘃𝒆𝗹.c𝗼𝒎
