Chapter 10: Azure dragon

Chapter 10: Azure dragon

The next morning, Fuyutake gathered Sho and Daigo at the training grounds of Azure Mountain. The cold mountain air was crisp, and the sound of rustling leaves created a serene yet intense atmosphere.

"Sho, do you know your current power level?" Fuyutake asked, his voice calm but firm.

Sho nodded. "I have around 3,500 power level right now."

Fuyutake then turned his gaze to Daigo. "And you?"

Daigo crossed his arms and exhaled. "Somewhere between 3,000 and 3,500, but I'm not exactly sure."

Sho furrowed his brows and asked, "Is power level that important, Fuyutake-sama?"

Fuyutake's expression turned serious. His gaze pierced through the two young warriors like a sharp blade. "Without power, you won't even survive the clan wars."

Both Sho and Daigo were taken aback by the weight of his words. They knew the clan war would be intense, but the way Fuyutake spoke made it sound like true survival was at stake.

Fuyutake continued, "Power is essential in battle. But beyond your regular strength, there exists something far greater—a secret and powerful state known as Awakening."

Sho and Daigo exchanged glances before looking back at Fuyutake. "Awakening?" Sho repeated, his curiosity piqued.

"Yes," Fuyutake said. "When you awaken, your true potential is unlocked for a limited time. It amplifies your abilities exponentially, allowing you to tap into power beyond your normal limits. However, using it comes with a price. Awakening consumes an immense amount of stamina and energy. If you're not careful, it could leave you completely drained, unable to fight."

Daigo clenched his fists. "So, you're saying that we have this power hidden inside us?"

Fuyutake nodded. "Everyone has the potential to awaken, but very few ever achieve it. Training your mind and body is essential. Only through discipline, experience, and extreme pressure can you break your limits and unlock your Awakening."

Sho's eyes burned with determination. "Can you show us, Fuyutake-sama?"

A small smirk formed on Fuyutake's lips. "Very well. Watch closely."

He closed his eyes, inhaling deeply. Suddenly, an immense blue aura began radiating from his body. The very ground beneath them trembled as his energy surged through the air. The sky darkened slightly, and a powerful gust of wind swirled around him. His aura took shape, morphing into something magnificent—a colossal dragon made entirely of blue energy rose from his back, coiling around him like a guardian.

Sho and Daigo stared in awe, their bodies frozen in place as they felt the overwhelming presence of Fuyutake's power.

"This is my power," Fuyutake declared. "I can use my energy to create and control dragons."

The enormous dragon let out a silent roar, its form radiating raw energy. The sheer intensity of its presence made Sho and Daigo feel as if they were standing before a god. They could barely move under the weight of his energy.

Sho gulped, his hands trembling. "Incredible..."

Daigo clenched his fists, his heart pounding. "I feel so weak compared to this..."

Fuyutake let out a small chuckle before withdrawing his energy. The dragon dissolved into particles of light, and the pressure in the air faded. He looked at them with a sharp yet encouraging gaze. "You two have extraordinary potential, but potential alone means nothing. From today onward, I will push you past your limits until you awaken your true strength."

Sho and Daigo, still catching their breath, nodded firmly. They had a long way to go, but one thing was certain—their training at Azure Mountain was only just beginning.
