The answer was coming from a place of pride, this much Rose knew. Mei Mei’s pride had always been bigger than everything else about her. She would not return to the Jun family ancestral home until she had something to show that she had succeeded. It did not matter how small that something was, as long as she did not look like a loser.

Rose poured wine in her glass and gulped it all down. "Fine, I won’t push because I know that no matter what I say, you will not be moved. Tell me what your plan is because I am giving you a maximum of half a year before dragging you back home with or without your consent. You have to be home for the next Lunar new year."

Half a year. Mei Mei thought about the deadline her sister was giving her. She wondered if it would be enough time for her camp business to show success. If she wanted to meet that deadline, she needed to work hard.

She thought about the past Lunar new year’s away from her family. None of them had been enjoyable, she spent them in the kitchen working to feed the Mo family with a few sisters-in-law. Mingzhu would also be by her side because when she was not, other children would pick on her and she would fight back.

Mrs. Sun would find Mei Mei and hurl insults at them both while Mei Mei fiercely defended her daughter.

One of the worst things about the day was that after all that cooking, she would eat leftovers because while others ate, she would be in the kitchen, washing dishes. Never again, did she want to celebrate the lunar new year like that.

"So, what’s the plan?" Rose knocked her knuckles on the table to get Mei Mei’s attention again.

"I am starting my own business," Mei Mei shared. "I am going to open a space camp for children. Slowly, I will expand the age range and in future expand the business too. If all goes well for me, I will build a space themed amusement park."

"Space!" Rose’s brows shot up and she laughed through her nose. "Is this because that scum is also in space business?"

Mei Mei shook her head. "Am I an idiot or glutton for punishment to go back for more after all he has done to me? I am already involved in space business as a co-founder of Space M. What I am doing now is simply transitioning and focusing on another avenue which is less populated. I have no competitors, if I do this the correct way I will dominate the field."

Rose sent her secretary a message asking her to find all the information on space camps or anything like a space themed amusement park in the world. "Where do you plan to open this camp?"

As Rose raised her head in shock, the food arrived. Its appetizing smell did not distract Rose from what she had just heard.

"The Hollow!" she exclaimed.

Mei Mei nodded. "The Hollow." she affirmed.

"The Hollow!" Again, Rose exclaimed.

"How long do we have to keep doing this? No matter how many times you repeat after me nothing is going to change. I already bought land and...."

"Please tell me that you did not put it in your name." Rose nearly sent the plate of food flying as she slid her hand over the table to take Mei Mei’s hand. "Mei Mei you are getting a divorce, this is the time to hide your assets not acquire more."

"Sister, I am not a fool." Mei Mei said and she laughed. "I put it in Mingzhe’s name. Even the house where I live is in Mingzhe’s name. Does Mo Liang dare to grab assets from my brother? He is the Imperial commander and legally permitted to carry a gun."

Rose sighed. "Oh thank God that you have regained your smarts. If only we could find a way to make Mingzhu Mingzhe’s daughter. The words custody would not even be heard from Mo Liang’s mouth."

Mei Mei chuckled. "Mingzhe and children....those words don’t compliment each other. Unless something changed while I was away, what I remember is that he was insisting that he would never marry and keeping a large distance from women."

"He likes children." Rose muttered, even she sounded unsure of what she was saying.

"Do they like him?" Mei Mei asked.

Rose recalled all the times Lian had cried because her uncle Mingzhe gave her a fierce look, confiscated her gaming equipment or hidden her sweets. It did not help Mingzhe’s case that he was the uncle in charge of vaccinations and physical fitness of all the children in the family. A job he had assigned himself to get out of changing diapers for his nieces and nephews and wiping their snot.

He was also the uncle in charge of keeping track of all the children’s academic progress. In short, he was not the fun uncle.

No matter, the children loved him because he was the famous inspirational Imperial commander. He was good enough for bragging points at school and they had dragged him from one school to another to prove to other children that their uncle was the Imperial commander.

Rose shared with Mei Mei some of the things she had missed out on when she was gone. The two sisters laughed, enjoyed the meal and went their separate ways.

Mei Mei went to the offices of Space M, she took employees of a moving company along with her. Nobody stopped them from venturing inside because her face was familiar and she was a shareholder in the company.

What astounded the guards however were the two dozen moving men that were walking steadily in an organized manner like soldiers.

The employees she met on the way either greeted her politely or dismissed her with derisive looks. Most appeared to be stressed and there was chaos. Phone were ringing no stop, employees were around with paperwork, others were answering two calls at the same time.

Mei Mei guessed that it had to do with the loss of the space materials. The first place they went was Mo Liang’s office. He was inside, talking to his cousin Mo Ai.

She did not knock and pushed the door open, walking in arrogantly but at same time with grace.

"Start with the desk and the chairs." she commanded the moving men.

"Mei Mei!" Mo Ai exclaimed. She looked Mei Mei over from head to toe. "Wow, did you get plastic surgery?"

Mei Mei did not address the ridiculous question, her eyes were on her husband that was stuttering because the movers had just shoved him out of the chair.

"Mei Mei what is this?" he asked, in a raised voice.

"I am taking back my property." She replied with a satisfied grin. "Anything in this building that I bought, I am taking back."
