Chapter 3791 Out of the Current
Hun!
The environment in the airship had changed suddenly. Making everyone open their eyes, including me.
The suppressive atmosphere that we had been feeling for four days and three hours had disappeared suddenly.
It didn't take even a moment for others to understand what had happened.
"It is over," said Rhys beside me, smiling toothily.
I smiled back, feeling relieved, like everyone else. I had been worried, scared; fearing the airship might get torn apart at any moment, but nothing of that sort had happened. We have made the journey safely.
The defensive formations begin to get deactivated one after another, that our soul senses could now move outside of the airship.
As my soul waves went out; I saw the desert with barely any greenery around us. There is nothing, but the sand around us; seeing that smile on my face become even bigger.
We had reached the area.
Now, I have to know exactly where I am. The pilot seemed to know, where we were as he was moving the airship toward it.
He is taking us to the closest city.
Usually, if the city is the clothes distance, they will take us there. If it is not, then they will land the airship and say goodbye.
I am glad, they are taking us to the city, because leaving with these people would have been dangerous. More than half of the people here are the Sky Sovereigns and I am not, despite faking as one.
If they attacked me; it would be game over me. I don't want that to happen.
In the city, with the large crowd, I will have the opportunity to get lost in the people. Discard this persona and get a new one.
Two and a half hours passed, and it was sundown when I saw the twinkle in the distance. Which began to get bigger and bigger every minute, till twenty minutes later the airship had reached it and descended.
Thud!
The airship landed with a loud thud. The horned man got up and turned to us.
"Thank you all for traveling with us; I hope, you will have a safe journey ahead," said the horned man and opened the gates.
One by one, the people began to leave the airship and soon, it was my turn.
"Hope, we will meet again, August," said a scaled man. "We will, Rhys," I said and waved at the man, I had sat beside for the four days and walked away.
Sourus City.
I got to know the name of the city within a second and immediately, I found it on the map of Olih. Sourus is a sky-grade city; its lord is an Early Sky Sovereigns, belonging to the sky-grade organization Olih.
The city is more prosperous than one would think when it is a wasteland.
There are underground sources of perus water. It is a resource used in alchemy and artifice. I would seed if I could buy a sky grade one.
I do not need it currently, but I will soon enough.
Soon, I walked to the hotel and booked a suite. There I showered and ate, before sleeping. I woke up at near dawn and placed the crystal where I was sleeping, before activating my stealth and walking away.
There is a spying formation, and it is a sophisticated one, but I was easily able to sneak inside it.
The crystal will disappear two hours later. With it, the persona of the August Black.
Two and a half hours later, I was sitting in a high-class Sovereign inn wearing a different skin with different levels. Eating breakfast while listening to the conversations around me. Most of it is boring, but some are interesting.
Gossip is always interesting.
I stayed there for an hour, before going out. I didn't immediately, go to the information brokers; I looked around and snooped into some conversation, before going to them.
I have learned in a hard way, that most information brokers are in the pockets of city leaders. I didn't have time to verify those in the pocket of leaders and those who are not, but that doesn't mean, I won't buy the information from them.
Since I couldn't verify them in the short term. I tend to be cautious.
I brought the information from a couple of sellers before doing some shopping and returned to the inn.
There, I had lunch and went to my abode before lying down in bed. A second later, I was at my core.
My clone had already read through the information and now looking at important parts, along with the map. I looked at the sheer distance, I had crossed through the airship, it was amazing.
It would have been a tremendous help if it could have taken me to my destination, but unfortunately, it is not going to be possible.
I still have a huge journey ahead of me, which could take me two to three months or more if I fell into any trouble, which I truly hope, I would not.
If I am able to reach the destination, then I will take the intercontinental journey. Which will be very expensive and a lot. It might take a year or more, but nothing could be said about these journeys. Seeing the sheer distance, they need to cross.
I studied the path for a few minutes before appearing in the third hive and collected a small sample of honey.
"It had already breached, Sky Sovereign," I muttered, seeing the honey.
There would be a line of people. If I were to sell it, which I would not. It is far from perfect; it would be only after the bees reached the Sky Sovereigns and it will require months.
I looked at the few more things in my core, before entering the library, feeling excited.
I am in the last stages of the breakthrough formation. Once it is finished, I could start the forging. Saying, I am excited would be an understatement; I have been working on it for more than a year and I could finally finish it today.
After that, it is forging, which isn't easy, given the grade of thing, I am trying to forge, but still easier compared to designing the formation.
