Chapter 3809 Strange Meeting At The Restaurant

Chapter 3809 Strange Meeting At The Restaurant

?Buzz!

The crystal buzzed, and I immediately opened my eyes and picked up a small green crystal badge with the emblem of the ship from the table.

It is another notification about the ship.

"A week more," I said, before putting it into my storage and I got up.

It is nearly evening. I go out in the evening. I have a few things to buy today; that thing is finally ready. In a few hours, I would be able to take it out vat and start working on it.

I freshened up and changed into the new clothes, before waking into the gate, appearing in the lobby for a few seconds later.

A minute later, I was walking in the street. I rarely used the teleportation gates; I like the energy of the city and want to enjoy it while I am here.

Rarely does one come across such a peaceful, beautiful city. If I didn't have to return to Tor; I would have made this city my home; it had all the qualities, I love.

I pushed those thoughts away and walked. I didn't move fast, but fast enough, that only Sovereigns would be able to see me clearly.

To others below them, I would feel like I am teleporting with each step. To Sovereigns, I would feel like I am walking like a normal person, but before they would realize it, I would walk past them.

Only the Earth Sovereign and above could see me. In my real speed and skill, it surprised some of them.

I am not doing it for the praise; the city is huge, and I need to move fast. It is not the only thing, I am also; I also experimenting while walking, trying to see all the changes it has done through.

It has been two days since the completion of the first stage in the talaras constitution and I am still measuring the changes.

They are deeper and far-reaching.

My constitution had been stretched. Something I know nothing about. It is a completely foreign territory and while everything is stable; I need to have as much data as possible, in case something bad happens.

I would love it if I could fight, and there are a few places in here that would let me do that, but I rather not do anything, that would attract any eyes.

Everything has been going smoothly so far and I like to see it go that way, while I am here. My ship is only a week away and I don't want to get myself in any trouble, that would make me miss it.

It had happened many times already during the journey.

Soon, I reached the first shop and bought a few things, before walking away. Then I visited a few other shops, before stopping at my favorite restaurant.

It is a small restaurant, run by an old couple.

It is not big, and not a market area, but it is the best one. It is mostly preferred by the locals, who know the owners personally.

"This is your aras pasta and chime fish. Enjoy your meal, young man," said the middle-aged server as put my order. "Thank you," I said and began to eat while listening to the conversation around me.

Hun!

I had taken a few bites of my meal, when suddenly a woman appeared, beside my table.

"Can I sit with you, young man?" asked the woman and before I could reply, she sat down in front of me, placing a food tray beside mine.

"Sure," I replied, to which she smiled.

She is a human, who looked to be in her early forties. She is tall and pretty and her blue eyes seemed to hold the sea in it.

She is a Peak Sovereign, with a powerful aura.

"How are you liking our city, so far?" she asked, and I froze mid-

way, to which she smiled. "Most of the patrons here are local; there is rarely anyone aside from regular visit it," she said, I relaxed.

I acted relaxed, while inside, I shuddered to my soul.

Earlier, I didn't put much focus on her, but now that I think, I hadn't seen her appear. I verified that in an instant with my soul sense.

I focused on her aura, and it is that Sovereign. There is no fault in it; it is perfect.

"Your city is wonderful, prime, one of the best, I had ever visited," I said, trying to keep my voice even as possible. A faint surprise appeared on her face before it bloomed into a big smile.

"Thank you, young man. It means a lot to me," she said and took a bite of her food. She seemed to relish it.

I also focus on my food.

"You should talk more, young man. I am not going to eat you," she said.

First, she forcefully sat in front of me, and now she was forcing me to talk, while I just wanted to finish my meal and get the hell away from her.

Since I came to the city, I have been trying to behave as normally as possible, but I still ended up catching the gaze of the prime, who is likely to be the governor of the city.

I hope she didn't capture me. I don't think, I would ever be able to leave the captivity of the prime.

"Do you come to this restaurant often?" I asked, to which the woman nodded with a smile.

"Yes. It is run by old friends," she replied, and now I am surprised.

The restaurant is run by the Sovereigns, while the woman is a Prime. Not many would acknowledge the relations, so easily.

"I am quite surprised, that you can find this restaurant, most tourist, didn't visit such quite areas of the city," she said. "Gems could only be found in a place like this," I replied, and the smile bloomed across her face.

"You got that right, young man," said the woman.

We talked as we ate out for dinner and soon, we both finished.

"Enjoy your time here and remember the city, young man." She said and walked out of the restaurant, watching it, I heaved an enormous sigh of relief.
