Chapter 15 Chasing After Mr. Fang For Help

"It is, but I had rather spend my day at the library. Today my skin is looking tanned, and tomorrow, I'm looking like a ghost because of my blood being drawn." Zhang Liling complained.

It was summer and the weather was terribly hot, and constantly in it, causing the complexion to tan. But for looking like a ghost, each time excess blood is drawn from her, her skin looks white as a ghost, just as she mentioned.

Right in the middle of chatting, Zhang Liling got a call from her mother.

"Mum, I'm in school." Zhang Liling said immediately she answered the call.

She thought her mother had called because of the latest involving her, and she wasn't in the mood to listen to what she had to say.

"What time will you be back from school?" the voice at the other end asked.

Glancing at her wristwatch, Zhang LIling replied, "Towards evening."

"That is great. Alright take care, see you…" The woman said and ended the call abruptly.

'See you?' Zhang Liling moved her phone from her ear and put it on the table. 'Does she want to have face time?'

"Mr. Fang's class will commence in 40 minutes, let's leave now if we still want a good seat at a good spot," Tungmei said picking up her backpack.

Zhang Liling picked up her things, and they left for the lecture theatre together.

Both of them were one of the first sets of students to arrive at the lecture theatre, and luckily, they were able to get a good spot to seat.

In less than 30 minutes, the hall was filled, and those who came late, and no choice but to take the remaining seats that were left at the back in reluctance.

Soon, Mr. Fang stepped into the hall with his personal assistant who quickly put his laptop on the lectern and left after connecting it to the projector.

"Good afternoon, class!" Mr. Fang greeted as he scanned everyone with his stern gaze.

Today, he was putting on a white shirt with rolled-up sleeves, which ended up baring the hard muscles of his forearm.

Fortunately, the shirt wasn't too tight on him otherwise if people like Zhang Liling were able to see the outline of his chest muscles, they would have a bleeding nose instantly.

Zhang Liling was in awe while staring at the adonis on the stage and if she hadn't a good control of herself, she would have been caught. 𝘧𝔯e𝗲𝙬ℯ𝙗𝓷o𝘷e𝗹.𝐜𝑜𝒎

Normally when a divine sight like Mr. Fang appears in front of an audience like this, there would be whispers, chuckles, exclamations, and even shrieks of excitement from the students, but this case was different.

Mr. Fang had dished out a few rules on his first day in their class, and none dared to disobey him after he banned a female student from his lectures.

Mr. Fang first asked a few questions from the last class before going on to introduce the topic for the day.

Picking up a whiteboard marker, he went to the board.

As he raised his right arm to write on the whiteboard, the skin draped over his bone and hand muscles, swung in contrapuntal tune.

Watching his hand movement, Zhang Liling drooled at the sight and couldn't help thinking back to the scene of yesterday.

But too bad she was unconscious and didn't know what it feels to have those hand muscles wrapped around her waist. Maybe she would find out soon.

"I think you should focus on his words and not on his body if you don't want to fail another question today," Tungmei whispered in a kind reminder.

Zhang Liling retracted her gaze, "You should pay attention to his teachings and not to me."

"As if…"

At the end of the class, Mr. Fang gave them the assignment to research on marketing strategy for a product. The assignment was to be submitted in his next class, which to most of them, was too far.

Bolin appeared to pick up Mr. Fang's things before leaving ahead, while Mr. Fang stayed back for a few minutes to answer a few questions.

Just 3 questions were all he replied to before walking off the podium.

Seeing that he was leaving, Zhang Liling turned to Tungmei to whisper in an excited tone, "I have found someone who can help me, take care of my bag, I will be right back."

"Wait, we are you running off to, what if you faint again? Let me come along."Tungmei said worriedly.

"Even if I faint again, Mr. Fang would be there." Zhang Liling winked and left immediately to Tungmei's shock.

'Wait, is she going to ask Mr. Fang for help?'

'Wow! This girl is so brazen.'

Tungmei stared in horror as she watched her joggle away.

Zhang Liling saw Mr. Fang walking away and badly wanted to catch up with him, but his long strides were not her match. She had no choice but to call after him.

"Excuse me, Mr. Fang!"

'That voice.' Mr. Fang turned and saw that she was the one. The same person that made him question his sickness, the same person he had rushed to the clinic in his arms.

Mr. Fang came out of his thoughts and wondered what she wanted this time around. He turned around and continued in his steps.

Zhang Liling who was almost smiling that he had stopped for her, looked shocked and immediately chased after him in shock.

"Mr. Fang, please spare me 5 minutes of your time I have a question to ask."

"Have you forgotten the rule of not chasing after me to ask questions after I have left the class?" Mr. Fang asked without stopping in his tracks.

He had made that rule to protect himself from coming in close contact with the scent of others. But Zhang Liling seemed to be his only student who had forgotten about it.

'Didn't you hear me out yesterday, has my charms expired already?'

How could Zhang Liling give up when she has already gotten to this point? That was not possible.

Once again, Mr. Fang saw the little figure blocking his path. He didn't say anything to her, as his first instinct was to release his breath and breathe in slowly to see if he was mistaken about her scent.

Zhang Liling thought he was angry with her because of the way he was staring at her, not knowing he was conducting a risky experiment with his nose.
