Chapter 410 Caught
*******
"Sir, we have her."
Two hours later after Fang Bingwen finished making the call to his men, he was having breakfast with Zhang Liling when he got another call from them.
The woman he had issued a warrant to, had been captured.
Peeping at the woman who was staring at him, he rose to his feet and walked away.
"Did you get the evidence?" Fang Bingwen inquired in a low tone to prevent Zhang Liling from overhearing his conversation with the person at the other end of the phone.
"Yes, Sir. I will send the clip to you immediately."
"Send the address as well." Fang Bingwen instructed before ending the call.
Letting out a soft sigh of relief, he walked back to the dining area to rejoin the little woman he had left behind.
"Who was that on the phone?" Zhang Liling inquired as she watched him take his seat like a hawk.
She believed that as they were married, there was no need to hide anything from each other. And with them being married, her confidence was sealed.
Hearing her question, Fang Bingwen picked up a piece of croissant and a cup of café créme.
He made sure to have a bite from his croissant before responding to her. "You don't know the person."
Slurping his drink, he chewed on the bread in his mouth for a some time while watching her facial expression change.
Seeing how annoyed she was becoming, he laughed inwardly. Just then, he got a notification sound on his phone.
Taking a moment, he glanced at the screen to see it was the address he asked for sent in a text.
Shifting his gaze back to her face, he said, "I will have to go out to meet someone now."
Learning from him that he was going out, Zhang Liling was not happy about it.
Where was he going on their honeymoon without her? Also, he wasn't saying anything.
That alone annoyed her greatly.
"What about our task of cuddling for the whole day since you refused to go to the factory today? Do you know your way around?"
"Cuddling can happen when I return. Also, I am an adult. I won't get lost."
Finishing the croissant in his hand, he hit his head backward and finished his drink.
Rising to his feet, he went over to her side and leaned in to kiss her on the cheek.
"Wifey, do not be annoyed. I will give you the details later. I don't want to cut your expectation of the full gist short, hence, you will have to exercise some patience."
Finally hearing his explanation, a flower bloomed in Zhang Liling's heart.
"You should have said it earlier." She muttered under her breath while trying not to smile.
Seeing that her face had livened up a bit, a low chuckle escaped from his lips.
"Although I won't take time, you can visit your mother or go anywhere you want if you are bored." He advised.
He was worried she would get lonely on her own if he left her alone in the guest house to go off somewhere by himself, but she was fine by herself.
"I will wait here for you." She said as a smile finally appeared on her face.
"Fine. Let's go on a date in the evening." Fang Bingwen said before walking into the washroom to brush his teeth.
Before leaving the guesthouse, he had kissed her lips softly, causing her face to shine as she waved at him and watched him leave.
Outside, Fang Bingwen took the same car that had brought them from the airport and to the house. Giving the chauffeur the address to where he wanted to go, they hit the road immediately.
After coming how long it would take them to get there, he relaxed and watched the morning view while cracking his knuckles.
Apparently, he couldn't wait to get his hands on a certain someone.
In an empty house off the capital City, a woman had her hands and feet tied to the chair she was sitting and her entire face was covered with a sack clothe.
"Hmmm"
She struggled to speak while trying to move her body but all actions taken to free herself from the shackles, failed.
It was very obvious that her lips were sealed given that she was not able to speak properly or scream for help.
Unlike the normal abandon houses in movies, where the woman in question was taken to, was very different.
The neighbourhood looked busy even when Fang Bingwen arrived.
Looking around his environment, he couldn't believe his eyes due to the confidence of the people he was walking with.
As his gaze swept last each house to determine the right block, a man in a hoodie waved at him and quickly ran to his side from the hisue he had been standing in front of.
Closing the car door, Fang Bingwen turned to the driver. "Wait here."
Leaving that instruction, he walked ahead to meet with the man coming for him in the middle of his journey.
"Why did you choose such a place for this?" He asked as he followed the man leading him toward the house in front of them.
As Fang Bingwen's eyes were covered, half of his face could not been seen, but judging from the only spot of his face that could be seen, the man walking behind knew he was annoyed and quickly explained.
"Nobody will interfere in our affairs. It had always been like that."
"Don't tell me that!" He said immediately. "This is illegal already, are you trying to tell me it's normal to do something like this out in the open?"
Fang Bingwen's outburst caused the man to flinch before he quickly rendered an apology.
To be honest, he was surprised with his reaction after all, he was the one that asked the to capture the person current in their possession.
Shaking his head, Mr. Fang followed him into the house that was in good condition and straight to a room where about 4 more men were waiting and of course, with the woman sitting at the centre.
After a quick introduction was done by one of the men already in the room who happened to be Fang Bingwen's men, Fang Bingwen was led to sit on the only single-sitter sofa in front of the woman immediately started to hum on hearing voices around her.
Sitting down, he fixed his gaze on that pitiful figure. "Take off the clothe from her face." He instructed.
As soon as the clothe was taken away from her face, the woman who was clearly secretary Cha, squinted her eyes as she tried to let her eyes adjust to the lightening in the room having been in the dark for an hour.
Before she could start to make out the faces of the men that had abducted her plus the one that had just come in, she heard one of them ask her.
"Did Shi Wenqian send you to sabotage Glint's makeup production today?" Fang Bingwen asked with his gaze on her.
Looking at the foolish woman he had intel on, he really wanted to break her head with a log of wood.
She dared to try and mess with his business?
Both Zhang Liling who was now his wife, and Glint were his businesses and no one dares to mess with them yet one foolish one that did not know her place tried it.
She was really asking to be killed in broad daylight.
"Who are you?"
Instead of responding to the question, secretary Cha who was still trying to let her eyes adjust to the light in the room asked.
Scoffing, Mr. Fang threatened while glaring at her.
"I dare you to look at my face and ask that question again."
Since it was so glaring that she didn't like her life that much, he would help her put an end to it so painfully that she would be to live again.
Hearing that authoritative tone, the woman sealed her lips as the others watched.
Seeing the man seating on the sofa while the bound woman was in front of him, that image felt like a goon master torturing his enemy.
Fang Bingwen was like a ring leader of a gang but too bad he couldn't think of that kind of situation while trying to learn the guts a foolish set of people had by trying to touch his things without fear.
At last, Secretary Cha opened her eyes fully, but as soon as she caught sight of the person in front of her, she nearly passed out because of fear.
'What is he doing here?'
Though so many questions were going on in her head, she wasn't a fool to not realize what was happening.
But by asking herself so many questions, she got the answers to some of them.
What was Fang Bingwen doing in Paris? It was obvious that he must be spending his Monty in this city. fre𝙚𝓌𝒆𝚋noѵel.c𝚘m
She had only arrived the country the previous day and just today as she had gone to the production factory, she was caught and here he was too.
He couldn't have arrived so fast if he wasn't in the City in the first place.
