Chapter 17: Blood Qi Enhancement Wave

After a month, Su Hao had grown quite a bit. His body had become sturdier and no longer looked a 3.5 year old child, rather he looked more like a… 4 year old? In reality, he wasn’t much different. But from the perspective of liveliness, overall, Su Hao no longer gave off the impression of a little kid.

Su Hao woke up from his visualization and felt his body’s vigorous blood qi energy. His eyes revealed a bit of a smile.

“The speed of blood qi conversion indeed increased. My thinking was correct.”

During this month, each time after Su Hao finished visualizing, he would use Little Light to compare and contrast the differences in order to find the reasoning for why visualizing “Nine Palace Severance Scripture” could result in the conversion to blood qi.

Finally, half a month earlier, he had discovered a clue. It was as his mind visualized the process, it would transmit a special signal. This special signal would function as a disturbance, like tricking its own body, to make the body think that it had was short on blood qi, so it would take the nutrients and prioritize converting it into blood qi and store it throughout the body.

Su Hao could only sigh in amazement. This world’s humanity truly was ingenious. Hard life gave birth to a path where a person’s martial arts could improve limitlessly. Of course, as long as the power of thinking had no limit, anything was possible.

Something couldn’t be done just because the body couldn’t do it, but because the knowledge to obtain it wasn’t enough.

Su Hao was suddenly filled with curiosity towards this world and the desire to learn burst out from the depths of his soul.

For the next half month, Su Hao began to lock down the special signal and to conduct in-depth research on this special signal. Up until now, there had been great progress. Su Hao named this special signal “Blood Qi Enhancement Wave”.

He began to try and use his consciousness to control the start and stop of the “Blood Qi Enhancement Wave” in order to better control the conversion efficiency of blood qi. Through Little Light’s help and constant comparison, he had found a method two days ago. After testing it, it indeed succeeded. These two days of blood qi conversion were much faster, far surpassing Nine Palace Severance Scripture’s conversion speed.

Indeed, technology equaled productivity. The people of this world may have been able to create an extraordinary path for mortals through exceptional thinking, but it was missing a large quantity of reference data. Whether it was their living conditions or productivity, it was a primitive era where people still were blindly groping their way forward.

The reason he could achieve things the people in this world cannot, why he could quickly progress, was due to the knowledge he had learned from the previous world and Little Light’s powerful computation ability. Su Hao knew he wasn’t a real genius. He was just an ordinary man who had been able to obtain a large amount of advanced knowledge.

Su Hao put away his pride and complacency and secretly decided: “If I can smoothly survive, I want to bring a big change to this world. Let this world’s human clan obtain more knowledge and properly stand at the peak of this world, becoming Yonghe Continent’s eternal rulers.”

……

Su Hao felt his body fill with strength. In his perception, the tiny cells were charged full of vigorous blood qi. It seemed as if he had more energy than he could use. The current him had at least some bit of self-protection ability, no longer as fragile as when he had just transmigrated over.

Su Hao did flips and jumps, his feet were at least a meter high into the air, then he lightly landed on the ground.

“Cool!”

He wasn’t even a meter tall, but he could jump a meter. This was unimaginable in the past.

On the side, Wu Yuntian suddenly frowned and hesitantly said: “Xiangyu, why has your blood qi been increasing more than usual these past two day?”

Su Hao said in delight: “Father, when I’m visualizing “Nine Palace Severance Scripture”, I discovered that my brain will emit some kind of special wave. I call it the “Blood Qi Enhancement Wave”. As long as I control the blood qi enhancement wave, I can casually control the blood qi’s conversion rate. I can convert it as fast as I want. Today’s blood qi increase speed wasn’t the fastest, it can be even faster.”

Wu Yuntian was dazed for a while before shaking his head: “I don’t understand what you said. However Xiangwu, I want to remind you, your blood qi conversion must absolutely not surpass your body’s tolerable limits.”

“Got it.” Su Hao nodded, then curiously asked: “Father, has your blood qi reached the limit of what your body can bear?”

Wu Yuntian shook his head: “No. Wanting to reach the limit is very difficult. Once blood qi has reached a certain quantity, there will be a bottleneck and getting past it is very difficult.”

“Is it very difficult?” Su Hao blinked. Just today, as he had been converting blood qi, his felt his blood qi had reached a certain concentration and had been blocked for a bit and stopped increasing. He had just adjusted the intensity of the blood qi enhancement wave and he had easily bypassed it. Could it be that blockage had been the bottleneck father was talking about?

Su Hao carefully said to Wu Yuntian: “Father, why don’t you try my method. Who knows, maybe it’ll let you break through the bottleneck.”

Wu Yuntian thought about it. A single attempt would hurt. He wasn’t the type to be so full of himself and wouldn’t be embarrassed to learn from his son.

Seeing Wu Yuntian node, Su Hao thought a bit before saying: “Father, I’ll first teach you the blood qi enhancement wave!”

Next, Su Hao began to teach. Wu Yuntian listened attentively then sat down and began to convert blood qi, but after many tries, he wasn’t able to discover where the “Blood Qi Enhancement Wave” Su Hao spoke of was located.

After fruitlessly attempting for two hours, seeing Wu Yuntian’s cloudy face, he comforted: “Father, don’t worry. Just like finding the feeling of blood qi, it might need to take some time.”

Wu Yuntian silently nodded. He quickly calmed himself. Indeed, a genius’s world was hard to understand.

……

With nothing to do, Su Hao went back to the valley to exercise. He had already become accustomed to exhausting himself every day.

When he reached the valley, he saw the three brats again, He Qingqing, snotnosed Tao, and little fatty.

These three brats had been fooled by Su Hao and been running around with him for the past month. Little fatty had become visibly skinnier. Up until now, each of them thought they were the smartest people in the Cha Mountain Outpost, and they argued to have Su Hao quiz them, proving their smartness.

The energy of these brats stumped Su Hao. Where did he have the time or energy to fool these brats. Every day he had to think of some sort of 5+6, or 7-1 kind of question.

Before, he gave in because he couldn’t beat them, but today, Su Hao would no longer give in. Feeling his body was surging with power, he was filled with self-confidence.

He’d beat these brats up one by one until they were all on the ground. In the future, no one would come and bother me, hahaha!

Just as He Qingqing, who had been playing with dirt, saw Su Hao, her eyes brightened. Excitedly she said: “Xiangyu! Over here! Come quick! Let’s build dirt people together.”

Su Hao immediately refused: “I don’t want to!”

“Why?”

“I never play with idiots.”

“But we already became smart!”

“Is that so?”

“That’s right. You said it yourself.”

Su Hao scratched his head: “Fine. You guys did become smart, but I have another line I never said.”

“What?”

“I never play with weak people!”

He Qingqing puffed up her cheeks in anger and pointed at Su Hao: “You said we’re weak people?”

“That’s right.” Su Hao nodded, “Everyone here is too weak and I don’t even put you in my eyes.”

He Qingqing stomped and pointed at Su Hao and yelled: “Snotnosed Tao, little fatty, get him.”
