Chapter 143 Assembly . . . ?

"Is that the blade?" player A asked, eyes glued on Lucy. He gulped a mouthful of saliva before wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.

Player B laughed a little. "It really is amazing. It's like it had a life of its own. Look at the eye on its hilt. It's revolving in all directions. It has to be an artifact." 𝑓re𝘦𝔀𝗲𝘣𝘯𝘰νℯ𝒍.c𝗼m

They were salivating at Lucy, and I couldn't blame them. Lucy was a good sword, after all.

"Are we doing this or what?" I asked, tilting my head and looking down at them. "I still have to hunt players like you."

Player A took a fighting stance. "You're a noob, so you probably didn't hear of me. I'm Fred, the fighter, and I'm the best in my class."

Fred was doing these fighting poses he probably saw on TV.

Player B flexed his staff next. "And I'm Norman, the greatest black mage of my class."

I wonder why they wanted Lucy if both of them couldn't equip her. Were they going to sell her?

<Looks like it>

Fred slammed his feet against the ground and dashed towards my direction in full force.

"You're a dead noob!"

I dodged his attacks, and I leaped out of the way when he tried to grapple me to the ground.

"Die! Die! Die!" Fred screamed at me while Norman was casting a spell behind him.

Even from a meter away, I could smell his breath. It smelled like rotten eggs mixed with sweat. Fred's eyes were bloodshot red, and his pupils were dilated. He had been drinking too much alcohol in the taverns, I see.

"Diieee!"

I was more scared about getting hit by his smelly sewer-like spit flying in the air than his attacks.

With the 140 000 EXP that I accumulated before and the 100 000 EXP I got from killing Edgar, Edie, Ben, and Jo. That's 2 400 converted points total that I distributed evenly to my ATP.

My HP was now in the two thousand while my MP was in the one thousand seven hundred, and the rest of my ATP were all in the four hundred plus mark.

I also acquired new skill like [Evil Mind] that could store two spells or skills as well as acquiring all its information. And using [Evil Wisdom], I could replicate those spells and skills perfectly, provided that I had enough MP for it.

[Evil Mind] could also be levelled up, so I could probably store more abilities in the future. However, I had to see the skills and spells first before I could store and acquire their information.

I had to use those EXP for there were a lot of beings here that I should be wary about. If I was going to kill players and buy that [Evil Pocket Dimension], I should have the strength to back up my actions.

"Stop dodging and accept your death!" Normal barked.

"Die! Die! Die!" Fred screamed.

I had enough of these two and slapped Fred with Lucy.

"Your breath stinks!"

Fred's head cracked to the side, and he flew to a nearby tree and hit the trunk hard, causing it to snap and fell apart. The impact knocked the wind out of Fred's chest as he fell to the ground.

"F-Fred!" Norman stopped shooting fireballs and looked over at the disappearing body of Fred.

"I can't believe it . . . he is dead?" Norman said with his eyes wide open in shock. He was completely stunned by what had just happened.

He then turned back around and continued firing his fireballs in my direction. "I'm going to kill you!" he screamed.

For his ATP, he could only shoot out simple fire spells?

Norman kept on firing his fireballs until he ran out of mana, but that didn't stop him from continuing to shoot out simple spells that didn't require much mana, like a spit of water and a simple slap of the wind.

What would those spells do to me?

Norman was still shooting when he heard a loud crash behind him. He spun around and saw me with an evil grin on my face.

I had been waiting for him to stop firing so I could take advantage of the moment. I pushed my palms against his stomach. My hands were glowing red, and I copied his spell and shot a fireball to test its effectiveness and increase my skills.

My eyes glowed brightly as a red burst of light shot out of my palm and engulfed Norman in its glow.

Norman tried to dodge, but he wasn't fast enough. He felt the heat melt through his stomach and cut deep into his flesh. Blood started pouring from the wound, and he collapsed onto the ground.

[Evil Wisdom LV.1 ? LV.2]

Hmm . . . 20% chance of successfully copying a skill or spell seemed not bad.

Come to think of it . . . I was used to just using Lucy and slicing here and there because it was easier. Maybe it was time to level my skills and spells and learn some magic.

<Good thinking, Host!>

Is there something in the System Shop like a staff or something?

<NEW ITEM available in the Evil System Shop!>

Before I could check, a vibrating sound coming from my bracelet stole my attention.

Pressing it, there was a notification flashing on my screen about all players required to assemble in the coliseum.

I thought it was to discuss about Edgar and the head nurse's death as well as the many students who went messing, but instead, it was about going into the Woodlands.

The Woodlands was full of beasts, and it was the perfect place if I wanted to level up my skills and spells. I decided to take a look at the coliseum and know what the school wanted first.

Maybe I should bring Thomas along?

Being cooped inside our room wouldn't do him any good. And his speech might return to normal if he socialized with the others.
