The man in Qiao Yue’s memory put the gun in her hand and pulled the trigger.
“Miss, what are you doing? We are only testing the gun. You can’t use it to shoot someone.”
“Is this lady crazy? Quick, get her out of here! How did such a dangerous person get on the ship!”
Everyone panicked as they watched Qiao Yue stand there with a gun pointed at Mr. K.
The emcee had already ordered the staff to evacuate the frightened guests.
There weren’t many security staff on board the ship. Most of them were afraid of the gun Qiao Yue was holding and didn’t dare to approach.
The black muzzle was aimed at Mr. K but he didn’t move. He sat there like a mannequin, motionless.
“Qiao Yue, you are not scared, are you?” The emcee’s voice rang out from behind her.
The man held her hand and before she could react, he pulled the trigger.
Mr. K fell to the ground with a thud. Google search 𝐟r𝚎ewe𝚋𝚗૦ν𝘦𝘭. 𝐜𝚘𝗺
Qiao Yue’s body suddenly started to shake.
As Mr. K fell to the ground, the mask on his face also fell off. Qiao Yue saw clearly that Mr. K wasn’t a real person but a mannequin with a mask.
And the face on the mannequin was Andy’s.
Qiao Yue’s eyes widened as she looked at the mannequin. A strange thought occurred to her. The mannequin was Andy.
She turned around and looked at the masked emcee. She reached out and took off his mask, revealing Andy’s face.
The man smiled at her stiffly and took off the human mask on his face.
Qiao Yue was stunned on the spot. Everything made sense now.
How Andy knew so much about her past, how he knew her style at every mission.
The man revealed a gentle smile. “Long time no see, Qiao Yue. Does the gun feel good?”
Qiao Yue trembled uncontrollably. She looked at the person in front of her and revealed a miserable smile. “Long time no see, Godfather. I wonder how you’ve been.” After she said that, Qiao Yue felt her vision go black and she fell backward.
When she came to, she was in a huge bathtub. She was in a VIP suite on the cruise ship, and it was decorated to the Godfather’s liking. There was a beige tatami, a huge bathtub, and floor-to-ceiling windows.
The Godfather was standing by the window with a glass of wine.
The sky had already turned dark.
Qiao Yue subconsciously checked her clothes.
“I got someone to help you change. Qiao Yue, I promised you that if you don’t submit, I won’t force you.”
“Who?”
“Me.” A young girl walked out from behind the screen, and the person’s face looked so familiar.
“Chu Jia, you’re back in the organization.”
Chu Jia smiled and removed her mask. “You didn’t notice, did you? Actually, after you failed to assassinate Trand the first time, we’ve switched Chu Jia.”
The person standing there was none other than Minnie, the girl from St. Faustina’s Institution who came for the student exchange.
“I’ve been watching you for the Godfather all this while, and provided you the information he wanted me to give you.”
Qiao Yue looked up at the Godfather. “Why are you doing this? I’ve already promised you that I will come back to you in three years. Why are you doing this?”
Austin laughed. He turned around and looked at Qiao Yue, still holding his glass of wine. “I didn’t give you that option. Without you by my side, I missed you every day. How could I bear it? So, I used a little trickery and hoped that you will submit yourself.”
Between a canary that was forced into a cage and a canary who walked into the cage of her own free will, the latter was more likable.
The Godfather walked over slowly. He was almost forty but he looked very young. He reached out and gently stroked Qiao Yue’s cheek. “So, I hope you’ll submit yourself.”
“So, you made me send Qiao Jing away and then walk into your trap?”
“That’s right, my love. It’s time for us to be together.” The Godfather moved closer to her.
Just as he was about to kiss Qiao Yue, the roar of a helicopter came from outside.
“Godfather, it’s The Custodians,” Minnie said.
Qiao Yue looked out the window. The helicopter outside was approaching fast. The letters that spelled out “The Custodians” were painted on it. .
