Chapter 63. I Just Wanted to Fly, Not Die!

Chapter 63: 63. I Just Wanted to Fly, Not Die!

Holy shit!

That was my reaction when I suddenly appeared in the demon castle. It felt like I had stepped into an entirely different place. All the debris from the fight against the Demon Lord was cleaned, and repaired.

It didn’t look terrifying anymore. Now, it was spotless, well-swept, and elegantly decorated. If anything, it almost looked like a human castle.

Except—

All the furniture had crawling legs. Just like the couch in Rose’s tiny house, where I used to crash.

"I thought I sensed a familiar presence."

I heard Rose’s voice echo from one of the many rooms. A moment later, she emerged into the throne room, where I had appeared.

"It’s yours truly—your future husband," I announced with gleaming eyes and a smug grin.

"You mean a boy?" she replied flatly, completely shattering my confidence.

This body of mine still looked sickly and young, exactly why everyone calls me a boy!Although, thanks to the daily training regimen I had been indulging in, I at least looked a little intimidating.

Speaking of looks— Rose’s outfit was arousing.

The demon MILF was dressed in a black, skin tight short and a bra, her body glistening with sweat.

"You look..."

"Sweaty, I know," she cut in. "I’ve been training. I wouldn’t want to get caught off guard by enemy clans while I’m out of shape, now, would I?"

"Nah, you’re definitely right. And you sure as hell look in good shape."

I shamelessly let my eyes roam over her—from her cascading red hair to her bewitching face and that killer figure. She was way too hot for a demon.

"What brings you here, Asher?" she asked, heading to sit on her throne. She crossed her legs and rested her chin on her hand.

"Uh, nothing much. Just came for this and that." I gave her a hungry look, licking my lips. "If you catch my drift. After all, you did say you’d let me... you know, as a reward for helping you defeat the Demon Lord."

She let out a small grumble. "Fine. I guess you’re right. Come over."

...Wait. That was unexpected. I had braced myself for her usual stubborn refusal. But hey, I wasn’t about to waste this golden opportunity.

I grinned like a kid receiving a birthday present and eagerly approached her. She turned her head to the side, huffing, her cheeks tinged with red.

"Be fast," she muttered.

Her body was just too alluring—I didn’t even know where to start. But maybe fondling those beautiful melons of hers wouldn’t be a bad way to ease into things.

I smirked and reached for her left breast, feeling it through her bra.

Amazing!

But I wanted to feel it in the palm of my hands—to see for myself if demon breasts were any different from human ones.

Without bothering to unclasp her bra, I grabbed the hem and tried to push it up, eager to let those milk tanks pop into full view. freёnovelkiss.com

SMACK!

A sharp sting spread across my cheek as I stumbled backward, touching the spot in shock.

"What the hell was that for?!" I growled.

"I gave you permission to touch, not undress me," she huffed.

Seriously? I thought I had earned the right to go all the way to smashing!

"But—"

"No buts, human!"

She stood up from her throne, summoning her cursed dark whip into her hand.

"Unless you want to get hurt."

I smirked. "You know curses don’t work on me. Right"

She grinned. "Oh, that much I know."

Then she swung the whip.

I yelped as it lashed across my arm.

"But that doesn’t mean you’re immune to pain, now, does it?" she teased.

She lashed at me again. I dodged, and the whip struck a nearby table, sending it crashing. In just a few minutes, the throne room was in total chaos.

Then, with a satisfied huff, she turned away.

"Make sure to clean this mess, human."

My jaw dropped. "But you’re the one who—"

"I said no buts!" she practically yelled.

So much for being her apprentice. This violent ape... She reminded me of Liloth. Maybe violence just ran in the blood of every redhead.

I sighed and started cleaning up when, finally, the cocky brat I had come all this way to see made her appearance.

Last time I left the demon realm, we had gotten emotional, so I figured we were on good terms now.

Or so I thought—until...

"What’s a mere human doing in my castle?"

My eye twitched. In her castle? This brat...

Suppressing my irritation, I forced a polite smile.

"Oh, hey there, Evelyn." I waved lazily.

She raised an eyebrow. "Evelyn? Address me properly. Don’t you know I’m the princess of this entire realm?"

Urgh..what nonsense.

"Oh, right. My bad. How are you, princess?"

"Bow, human! I am royalty. I deserve absolute respect."

God... I wanted to punch her.

But there’s no shame in bowing when you need help. Back in my old life, I used to drink with friends, and when I had no money, they’d treat me. Their jokes were painfully bad and boring, but I’d laugh anyway—because, well, they were buying. It’s an unwritten universal rule.

So, I dropped to one knee.

"Forgive my rudeness, Your Highness. I humbly apologize."

She smirked triumphantly.

As she turned to leave, I stopped her.

"I’m sorry to trouble you, Your Highness, but I have a request."

She crossed her arms, glancing down at me as if I were some lowly peasant. "A request?"

"Yes. Would you please teach me how to fly?"

Silence.

Then—

BWAHAHAHAHA!

She burst into laughter.

"Flying? Are you kidding me? Do you really think a mere human could achieve that? Even most demons struggle! Only prodigies like myself can master such an art."

She touched her chest, eyes closed, radiating pure arrogance.

I dropped lower, pressing my forehead to the ground.

"Please, princess! I beg you. Teach me."

She studied me for a moment. "Alright! But have you even tried flying before?"

"Yes. The best I could do was hover about four feet above the ground before crashing down, completely drained of magic."

She scoffed. "Typical human. Well, I’ll have to test your resolve first. I won’t waste my time on someone weak. Are you ready?"

An evil grin spread across her face, and suddenly, I had a very bad feeling.

Still, I nodded. "Yeah."

"Good. Follow me."

If only I had known this was about to become my worst nightmare...

I never would have come here.
