Chapter 316: Spamming rewards
Standing in his room, Ben rubbed the silver c.h.e.s.t in his hand as he prepared to open it. Even though he was 99% sure of what he'd be getting in a moment, it didn't stop his excitement every time he opened one of these Booty C.h.e.s.ts.
Soon, silver light filled the room…and a short while later, Ben was holding onto a glass tube filled with green liquid.
[Agility Potion(Consumable, Rare) x1 - More thrusts per minute means more p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e. Drink this to permanently increase your agility a bit. Brewed by the Perverted Divine Alchemist]
While Ben was all for more thrusts per minute, he couldn't help but release a slight frown when he saw it was an agility potion, because agility wouldn't help him much against Nick in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament next week. The fact was that when grappling on the ground or even standing, speed was one of the lesser factors, since you were too close together. That's why strength and then endurance were the most important things. However, a boost was a boost.
Even though it wouldn't be much help, it was still something, and Ben would take any help he can get. By now, he also knew what to expect after having taken three strength potions and two stamina potions. This second agility potion would hurt like hell, but he could deal with it.
So after a short time of preparation, he relaxed and climbed onto his bed, and took the potion…

A half-hour later…
Ben was standing in his room, covered in sweat. After consuming the potion, he'd received the usual baptizing of pain and punishment, yet it wasn't so bad this time, or rather, he'd gotten used to it. After recovering, he'd gone to test the effects of the agility potion, and they were as expected.
He did some shadow boxing and felt like his hands had gotten faster. He'd also gone outside for a quick run near the park and could tell his sprinting speed had improved. It was an all-around speed-boost. Although it was more difficult to quantify than with endurance or strength, he felt it was also around a 20 percent increase, like the other potions. Now, Ben's physical boosts were as such:
40% Agility boost — elite level.
40% Stamina boost — elite level.
60% strength boost — Above elite level, approaching world class.
In terms of sheer physical capability, Ben's body was no joke. Yet, that was only relative to his size. Nick was much bigger, heavier, and even a bit stronger than Ben. Head-to-head, he couldn't compete with the Jersey Shore juicebox…
So after receiving the agility boost that also wasn't much help, the only thing Ben could hope for now, was a little more help from the system. Yet, how should he go about it?
The last time, he bought several expensive high level mystery boxes and took a big loss. Now, he only had 5800 points to spare. A low level stat growth multiplier wouldn't be enough and he couldn't waste it all on one shot at a high level mystery box in case he got something crappy again. Thus, after thinking about it for a minute, Ben made a decision—shotgun method!
He'd try the exact opposite of the last time, spam-buying a bunch of cheap boxes, hoping he'd get something decent in one of them. After all, a low level mystery box could drop fine or rare items. If he was lucky, one would be enough!
[Low Level Mystery Box: 500 points - Contains a random item anywhere from trash to rare grade]
Anyway, an epic or higher item might be overkill, so in his mind, this seemed like a reasonable strategy. "All right!" Ben rubbed his hands together in preparation. His eyes became sharp as he visualized success! Then, he navigated to the system's store screen, and made the purchase!
Soon, he was holding a green mystery box in his hand. He hadn't seen one of these in a long time and received a feeling of nostalgia. His first day at University months ago, he'd lived a similar scene, except the him then and the him now were so different, even his parents wouldn't be able to recognize them as the same person. Ben sighed as he thought about it.
However, he soon smiled. It was a good thing. He'd changed so much and for the better. There was no reason to let the past drag him down, not even for a moment…
After all, he still had so much to accomplish:
Destroying Nick in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
F*cking Nick's girlfriend, Lia.
Destroy Nick emotionally after he found out about it…
Destroy Nick spiritually in some manner.
Destroying Nick in another manner...
The point was there was a lot of destroying to do…
If it wasn't clear, Ben did not like Nick. He was a senior at the gym, a purple belt who should've helped coach the white belts. Instead, he tried to break Ben's arm, not fulfilling his duties, opting to be more of an Obi Won Jabroni...
As a result, Ben planned to pilot the Millenium Falcon and initiate docking sequence in his girlfriend's v.a.g.i.n.a...
That might take a while though. For now, Ben would use other methods and he couldn't wait for Nick to destroy himself or another truck to come crashing through a wall. No, that was too ridiculous. Instead, Ben would have to find a way to once again summon that truck…
He believed his goals were not only specific but achievable…a sign of a true go-getter…
So, as he touched the cold green mystery box in his hand, Ben knew this would be the key to making his dreams, and Nick's nightmares a reality… He needed some good from this rewards-eating session. As such, after taking a deep breath, Ben soon opened the box!
Green light filled the room!
Then, not long after, Ben laid eyes on the item he hoped would help him achieve his wishes.
