Chapter 102: Killing the Novice Village Chief, City Establishment Order
"Dammit!" Dorian looked grave, glanced at his compass in hand, then coldly stared at Johnnie and Atlas.
He had definitely confirmed that the item he was looking for was on them, but he wasn’t strong enough to fight Johnnie right now.
The last attack from Johnnie could have killed him instantly. It was the Seraphim Armor effect — a guaranteed one-hit kill, with a 5% chance to trigger absolute defense, only taking 1 point of damage.
Retreat!
Dorian pulled out an old, rusted bronze mirror, and activated it immediately.
Wum!
A wave of spatial energy surged, and Dorian’s figure vanished in a weird, unnatural way.
Swoosh...
Johnnie and Atlas’ attacks both missed.
"He ran?" Johnnie was surprised, probably a teleportation item.
He remembered there was a Portal Scroll, which could randomly teleport the user to another location, helping escape the battlefield.
But what Dorian used wasn’t a Portal Scroll. It was an old, rusty bronze mirror.
Could it be a spatial travel item?
He frowned, but the biggest mystery was how Dorian got into the Dark Forest.
The Dark Forest had just opened, and only players who entered through the Novice Village No. 433 path could access it.
But Dorian clearly wasn’t. He seemed to have been there already.
Atlas said, "Johnnie, let’s collect the quest reward first. I can’t gain any experience from killing monsters anymore."
"Okay." Johnnie didn’t waste time thinking about it anymore. He left the Dark Forest.
There were players already here, but they were all from Novice Village No. 433, and they couldn’t even match the Demonic Creatures of the Dark Forest. They were easily killed.
...
Outside the Novice Village, a figure appeared mysteriously.
It was Dorian.
At that moment, he still felt a chill of fear. He checked his compass, and it pointed toward the Novice Village.
"This is trouble now." Dorian frowned and said coldly.
He had confirmed that the item he was looking for was in Johnnie’s or Atlas’s possession.
If it was Atlas, he could take it by force.
But if it was Johnnie, he was completely out of his league.
"Damn it. Looks like I have to wait for Pluto’s avatar to arrive, and then find a way to eliminate this Johnnie for good!" He bit his teeth, and spatial energy surged around him. His figure vanished again.
...
Johnnie and Atlas met the chief of Novice Village No. 433, an old woman with dry, wrinkled skin.
The old woman had heard the system announcement and greeted them with joy, but when she saw Johnnie, her smile vanished.
She coldly said, "Old man, did this evil human help you complete the quest?" ƒrēenovelkiss.com
Atlas frowned and asked, "Is there a problem with that?"
"Hmph!" The old woman snorted coldly, and said, "This human is an enemy of Pluto, you won’t get the quest reward!"
She then canceled Atlas’s quest.
Atlas frowned, and his expression turned angry. He had been trapped in the Novice Village for a long time, just to complete this quest.
Now, after finishing it, this old woman just canceled the reward.
Johnnie smiled coldly, already guessed the old woman’s identity, and said, "Old woman, are you a follower of Pluto?"
"Yes." The old woman didn’t deny it, and looked unkindly, saying, "You’re not welcome here. Get out!"
"We can leave, but you have to give us the quest reward." Johnnie stayed calm, but his mind was already filled with killing intent.
The village chief wasn’t invincible. He had already killed the chief of Novice Village No. 001, causing Novice Village No. 001 to disappear.
He wasn’t afraid to make this one disappear too.
"Dream on." The old woman disdainfully said, "Human, Pluto’s true body is about to arrive. You’ll die for sure then!"
"Is that so? Well, you won’t live to see that day." Johnnie didn’t want to waste time talking, and struck immediately.
Wum!
A flash of cold light, the Void Sword sliced down.
This old woman was just a Stage 2 elite boss, like Lane, and she was no match for him.
"Human, how dare you!" The old woman panicked, and dodged desperately.
Boom!
A sword fell, and she was immediately blasted away.

Crit!
The old woman’s health points were only around 40,000, and she couldn’t even withstand Johnnie’s attack.
This wasn’t over. A flash of cold light, the Dragon Patterned Sword flew toward her, flames engulfed the area, and it fired wildly at the old woman.

Terrifying damage numbers flashed, and the old woman’s health points were instantly emptied — she was killed in an instant.
[Ding You have killed the chief of Novice Village No. 433. Reputation +100]
[Announcement Player Johnnie has killed the chief of Novice Village No. 433. Novice Village No. 433 has disappeared.]
[Announcement A bounty has been issued by the city of Universe Continent. The first player to kill Johnnie will receive one golden legendary item, and subsequent killers will get a purple epic item. This reward is available multiple times.]
...
Another series of system announcements rang out.
Johnnie once again caused a major disturbance, and the world chat channel went into a frenzy.
"Is Johnnie guru out of his mind? He just killed another Novice Village chief?"
"Does killing a Novice Village chief give any reward? Has anyone tried to team up and kill a chief?"
"Bro, don’t even think about it. Once a player leaves the Novice Village, they can’t return. And even if all the Novice Village players unite, it’s still hard to kill the chief."
"But how the hell did Johnnie do it?"
"Didn’t you hear the announcement? Novice Village No. 433 is now open."
"Looks like Johnnie has really made everyone angry this time. He’s even been put on the wanted list by the city of Universe Continent."
"Golden legendary gear? Anyone interested? Players at Stage 3 or above, contact me."
...
Many players spontaneously organized themselves, hoping to kill Johnnie.
The bounty in Blazefire City was still active, but players weren’t strong enough to fight Johnnie, and no one dared to try.
Now, with the temptation of golden gear, some players were starting to get excited again.
Even if they weren’t the first to kill him, they could still get an epic-quality item in the future — enough to make players go crazy.
Johnnie didn’t care at all. He looked at the items the old woman dropped.
500 stat potions, one City Establishment Order, one jade talisman, and a dozen enhancement stones.
The stat potions and City Establishment Order were part of Atlas’s quest reward.
"Senior, take these stat potions. I’ll take the City Establishment Order — I have a use for it." Johnnie said.
Atlas shook his head, didn’t even reach out to take it. "Johnnie, the quest was completed by you. You should take it. It will be more helpful to you. And I have other ways to boost my stats."
"Okay. Thanks, Senior." Johnnie didn’t hesitate, happy to take it.
500 stat potions — he was really tempted.
Johnnie looked at the jade talisman.
[Pluto’s Edict: A sacred item, allows free access to the Dark Forest, and prevents attacks from Demonic Creatures.]
Johnnie saw the talisman’s stats. It didn’t help him much, so he put it away without a second thought.
"Senior, I’ll help you change your class to Sword Immortal." He looked at Atlas and said.
The old woman was killed, so Atlas couldn’t advance. But since Novice Village No. 433 disappeared, they could now leave freely.
"Okay."
Atlas was also very curious about the Sword Immortal class.
The two left the Novice Village and arrived at the nearest city, Sky Blue City.
"Human, how dare you enter Sky Blue City? You’re looking for death!" A loud shout came, and a large group of soldiers appeared, surrounding Johnnie and Atlas.
He was currently wanted by the cities of Universe Continent, so he must have been on their blacklist.
Johnnie showed no fear. Level 1 city guards were only Stage 2, level 10, and he could easily deal with them.
Wum!
The Intent of the Sword hummed, and Seven Sword flew out, splitting into seven, and The Technique of Swordsmanship for Controlling Swords was activated, massacring wildly.
"Senior, stay close to me!" Johnnie warned, and he cleared a path, heading straight for the Sky Blue City Teleportation Array.
Cries of pain echoed around, and some players tried to sneak in an attack.
Johnnie showed no mercy, slicing them down immediately, leaving a trail of corpses — both city guards and players.
Soon, the two reached the teleportation point in Sky Blue City, easily dealt with the guards blocking the way, activated the Teleportation Array, and arrived in Twin Cranes City.
Wum...
A wave of spatial energy appeared, and Johnnie’s figure materialized at the teleportation point in Twin Cranes City.
"It’s that Johnnie. Attack!" As soon as he landed, a wave of angry shouts came from all around, and a large group of soldiers rushed in.
Twin Cranes City was a Level 2 city, and all these soldiers were Stage 3, level 10, much stronger than the guards in Sky Blue City.
But they were still no match for Johnnie.
He didn’t want to waste time with these guys, so he summoned the Void Sword.
"Senior, get on." Johnnie flew with the controlled sword, leading Atlas away from Twin Cranes City, heading for The Secret Realm of the Sword Tomb.
Arrows flew, but these city guards had no flying ability, so they could only watch helplessly as the two escaped.
"Johnnie, are all these cities putting a bounty on you?" Atlas asked, confused.
Johnnie paused for a second, and then realized, saying, "It shouldn’t be possible."
The Universe Continent was vast, with at least tens of thousands of cities, and there were even countries. Pluto couldn’t possibly control that many.
But any city that had attacked him was definitely under Pluto’s control.
If he could destroy those cities, it would weaken Pluto’s power.
Soon, the two arrived at a cliff, the entrance to The Secret Realm of the Sword Tomb.
Johnnie opened the secret realm, and said, "Senior, I have other things to do, so I won’t go in. With your strength, completing the Sword Immortal test should be no problem."
"Okay." Atlas was excited, and he had already heard from Finn how powerful the Sword Immortal class was.
He immediately entered.
Johnnie didn’t linger, he was planning to build a city at the ruins of Novice Village No. 433, to fully control the Dark Forest.
He opened his friend list and sent a private message to Dylan and Finn.
Johnnie: "Summon all your subordinates and go to the ruins of Novice Village No. 433. I want to build a city!"
Building a city would trigger a Beast Wave attack, and Johnnie alone couldn’t possibly hold off a Beast Wave, even if the military and Yett Family members had increased in level, it would still be difficult.
Then Johnnie went to Solaris City, where he still had a helper — The Lord of the City, Vivian.
The city was bustling, with players coming and going.
Johnnie appeared, but no soldiers surrounded him, which made him even more certain — only cities controlled by Pluto’s subordinates would attack him.
Find a way to destroy these cities!
