Pokemon - A real story

Togetic's appearance had completely changed. It looked a bit taller than before and it looked more smooth. Its wings were a bit longer and larger than before and it had a mark on the top of its forehead and it looked like it was shining a bit.

Axel could not understand what had happened but when he looked at the stats, he understood it.

It had finally leveled up 'Ancient power' to level 40 and now its appearance had changed a lot. Actually, Axel didn't even know that a Pokemon could level up 'Ancient power' to level 40 when it had not even fully evolved cause such a thing had not even happened till now.

Axel was bombarded with a lot of notifications and one of them was.

Togetic's special attack stat has reached S rank.

This was very surprising cause it had not been a long time since it had reached elemental rank. What Xerneas did must be something far greater than what Axel had imagined. He immediately said to extend the rank up.

"All of its stats should be S rank, it should learn a new move and upgrade 3 of its moves to a higher level."

This was not a harsh condition since it had some luxury time to reach pseudo-king rank.

"How are you feeling now, buddy?", asked Axel.

'I am actually feeling very different but can't complain.', said Togetic telepathically.

Since Axel had reforged his soul, his rank had decreased to rare rank now but that didn't mean that his aura techniques were also degraded. So, he could telepathically communicate with his Pokemons.

But when he heard the reply from Togetic, he felt that the message was very clear in his mind which surprised him.

He immediately looked at the status page of Togetic to see more information.

Axel was surprised with the stats. There were a lot of changes in its stats. First of all, its health and stats had received a massive upgrade. Axel didn't know what had happened and he needed to ask Togetic about it. There were some new moves that it had learned during the tide battle. This was mainly done to counter its weakness. Togetic was weak to electric, and rock-type moves. So, 'Solar beam' and 'Mud bomb' were perfect for it.

'Twin beam' was basically a move that Axel wanted Togetic to learn for another new move that he had planned for Togetic.

After the evolution of 'Ancient power' and with the help of Xerneas, most of its fairy-type moves had leveled up a lot and finally, it had learned the move '100 healing seals'.

Axel calmed down and took a deep breath. Before looking at '100 healing seals', Axel wanted to see the updated moves.

Dazzling Gleam (Togetic) (Level 40): Surround yourself with a compressed fairy aura that can defend against all attacks and after holding it for some time, the user can let it go for the explosion.

(Level 45): Flares up an intense light that would make the target blind for a few seconds if the target didn't close its eyes.

(Level 50): The power and the reach of the explosion have increased. After the explosion, the enemy would fall in a stun effect for some time.

Future Sight (Togetic) (Lvl 40): Instead of 10 minutes, it only needs 5 minutes to activate.

(Level 45): The user can direct the attack to the enemy with the help of 'Extrasensory'.

Extrasensory (Togetic) (Level 40): The target is picked up and thrown on the ground with power. There is a 25% chance that the target will flinch.

(Level 45): Repulsion and attraction could be done if the target is near the user.

(Level 50): The power of repulsion and attraction is more powerful than before and instant.

Egg defense (Togetic) (Level 40): The stamina consumption is lower and it could be used 2 times during the battle.

(Level 45): The defense of the user has increased.

(Level 50): While inside the defense, the health recovery of the user would massively increase. This has become a fairy-type move.

Stored power (Togetic) (Level 40): Can utilize the stored power more efficiently and the attack is immediate.

(Level 45): Can utilize the move to store a bit of fairy-type energy inside the 100 healing seals.

Moonlight (Togetic) (Level 40): It could now be used in the time too.

(Level 45): While using a massive amount of fairy-type energy, the user can turn the day into night and create a virtual and artificial moon in the sky. This will increase the power of fairy-type moves.

Wish (Togetic): (Level 40): It could wish for either an increase in health or an increase in special attack.

(Level 45): It could now be used 2 times during the battle.

(Level 50): Could also heal an ally Pokemon.

Fairy wind (Togetic) (Level 40): The user can now manipulate the wind to its own advantage to increase its speed too.

(Level 45): Can create cyclones around the enemy to obstruct them.

(Level 50): Can create 2 cyclones and the power of the cyclones has increased.

Moon blast (Togetic) (Level 40): Can also use it in day time. But the effect will be reduced.

(Level 45): Has a 60% chance to lower the special attack stats of the enemy.

Headbutt (Togetic) (Level 40): The speed of the move has increased and has a higher chance of flinching the target.

Crafty shield (Togetic) (Level 40): Will protect 7 team members from status category moves for 10 minutes. If the status category moves are of higher mastery from higher rank enemy, then it may not be able to defend.

Thunder wave (Togetic) (Level 40): The area effect of the move has increased and now has a higher chance to paralyze the target.

These were a lot of changes. Some of the upgrades did happen during the tide battles but most of them happened when it was blessed by Xerneas. So, what the hell had happened and what had Xerneas done to it?

Axel then finally looked at the '100 healing seals'.

100 healing seals:

(Stage I): Has a mark on the top of its forehead that symbolize the seal. The user can store fairy-type energy inside the seal slowly. This will also increase its special attack, special defense, vitality, and stamina slowly.

The user can unlock the seal to overpower itself but it is not recommended as the user's body is not so strong to do so.

The move was quite similar to Tsunade's skill but there were some differences. First of all, Togetic cannot use the move right now cause it is too weak. Axel didn't know how powerful it would become but there were no healing factors involved.

Axel felt that the move had to reach a higher stage and Togetic had to reach a higher rank to activate this move. Yet, this was a very powerful future move and Togetic had finally touched on how to manipulate nature energy in some way.

"So, tell me what happened? What are these changes?", asked Axel.

Togetic's story began just like Alakazam's and Venusaur's. It had entered into a dream but that was where the similarity ended.

"I was shown a lot of dreams. In one dream, a Togetic was using the power of souls to do its bidding. It was sucking the souls of others and using those souls to do a lot of things. In another dream, Togetic was using the power of nature to do some magical things and then in another dream, it was using the power of night like a vampire.

There were a lot of dreams and then I came to realize that Xerneas wanted me to choose one of them. So, I chose nature and then concentrated on thinking about the 100 healing seals.

Then the dream shifted and now that Togetic actively started to show me how to master 100 healing seals. It also showed me a lot of things that a nature power could do and accomplish. Most of it went over my head but I tried to comprehend as much as I could and then I woke up."

"Well, you have learned '100 healing seals'. What other nature power did you see?", asked Axel.

"Frankly, I don't know much. I know the gist of it but I don't know how to train it. I somehow feel that after some time I will unlock those training methods too."

"Then, we will see it when the time comes. You have done well and you might reach pseudo-king rank faster than I expect. But I have created a harsh condition for you cause you were too fast in it.", said Axel and told the condition.

Togetic was not angry about the condition which slightly surprised Axel cause it had started to show its mature side.

"I am planning to go home to get some rest for some days. We will charge up for the future. I know there are a lot of things that have happened. All those things about the soul arts and whatnot.

But I promise that we will get through this. We will go home tomorrow.", said Axel and decided to take some time to do something.

On the roof of the building was a small bird-type Pokemon that was looking in the sky. This was Gandiva.

Axel went near Gandiva and said, "You don't look like one that appreciates a calm sky."

Gandiva looked at Axel and Axel continued, "You said that you will observe and then decide if you will want to join my team. The time has come. You have seen what I will be going through in the future. You were there. So, what is your decision?"

Frankly, Gandiva was already sold and it wanted to be a part of the team. Facing the whole world? It was built for it. But it wanted to play this game a bit longer but now it looked like it could not.

It took a minute to decide what it should do and finally nodded its head.

"Haha, that is good news. I will get you a good master ball. Don't worry.", said Axel with a smile and then went down. He didn't have a master ball with him right now, so he decided to get one as soon as possible.

Axel didn't know that Gandiva would one day be the most powerful Pokemon in this team and also the key for the main mission.
