Chapter 177: Little Quacking Duck

The three of them ate lunch, and Qin Yichen was the first to step out, his large workload a lot more than usual.

Qin Heng and Rong Yue cleared the takeouts into the bin and settled into a comfortable silence.

Qin Heng returned to looking at his tablet and playing games while Rong Yue started looking at the Fox Alliance messages.

As she was the leader, she had assigned them some tasks to be placed as priorities. It was also a way for her to know the mercenaries that could do work well.

Now that she had so much to do, she needed manpower.

Lyfe and the jewellery company were okay as Qin Yichen had assigned men there. Mo Yifan had also not taken his men away and left them there.

But since she wanted to start two things here, she felt that more physical men were needed.

The moment she logged into the red app with a fox as a symbol, her phone constantly buzzed for close to ten minutes, and Rong Yue placed the phone on the table and leaned back in the chair.

Her lazy aura made her seem like a big boss that was watching her subjects act out.

After the notifications stopped, she finally picked up the phone and checked through them patiently.

Red Riding Hood's Wolf: Boss, I have reports on some mines in Country X; they said that some merchant is trying to sell out the ones they have.

The message was sent three days ago, but Rong Yue hadn't logged in. Now that she was reading it, she checked the document attached to the conversation and replied.

Conquering the heavens: if the prices are good, we can send some men there to make sure that they are really worth it.

Since the Fox alliance wanted to gain control of information in the dark web to a large degree, she had made Yu Cui start working on recruiting a large number of men.

Red Riding Hood's Wolf: I sent some yesterday. Since you weren't online, I thought it would be bad to miss out on it if it was a good deal. The men will be back by today; I'll let you know.

Yu Cai was someone that didn't say much but handled matters effectively. Even if she had been like a team leader for their team in the past, she didn't mind working under Rong Yue now since she felt Rong Yue was much more capable than she was.

Conquering the heavens: if the deal is good, keep three of the best ones and let's sell the information to the others.

She had seen about ten mines on the list and felt other people would also be interested. After ending the conversation, she left the chat with Yu Cai and opened another one.

This one had more than forty messages, and Rong Yue frowned slightly as she scrolled to look at the messages that Jin Fu sent.

She glanced up at his username and felt like it was really accurate. He really was a little quacking duck.

Little Quacking Duck: how can you be our boss and take a vacation for close to a week!!!

Each message was more outrageous than the other, and it seemed like he had typed as each thought came to his head.

Still, Rong Yue patiently read through all his messages and replied to the important ones. As soon as Jin Fu saw that Rong Yue was online, he called her immediately.

Because she didn't want them to chat on the dark web where one could guarantee the privacy of the chats to those with skills, she had created another app that wasn't downloadable to anyone unless she sent them the APK and access code.

The app worked like future chat apps; they could chat and have group calls.

Rong Yue picked up the call and placed it on hands-free.

"Boss! How can you just be coming online by this time!" Jin Fu exclaimed as soon as the call connected.

Qin Heng looked up and frowned, feeling like the person was a little noisy. frёeωebɳovel.com

Rong Yue saw the little frown on his face from the corner of her eyes and felt displeased at Jin Fu.

"You have two seconds to get to the main point you have to say," she told him, cutting off his long string of complaints.

Jin Fu's face reddened on the other end of the corner as he heard that velvety voice.

Conquering the heavens seemed to be a girl?

And if he wasn't wrong, why did she sound so young?

He shook his head, feeling like he was hallucinating. It was definitely a sissy boy that did nothing but okay games and sat at the computer all day.

"Firstly, I wanted to tell you about the account you asked me to create for the organisation, the process has been completed, and I have moved the previous earnings there,"

Rong Yue made a sound in acknowledgement and listened to him ramble off about the earnings.

"Next time, give that details to the people we work with. Also, find someone that can handle the finances,"

Jin Fu was good at hacking and moving around the dark web. He did not need to keep strings of numbers like that when he could spend all that brain on getting information they could control.

Also, money was not her problem, and she even felt like she would change the payment methods soon.

However, they were only just building their network. They couldn't act too cocky yet.

She and Jin Fu talked for nearly twenty minutes, and by the time he was done, Rong Yue sighed in relief.

"Are you sure you aren't a woman?" Jin Fu asked. His thirst for gossip was evident in his voice.

Instead of Rong Yue's reply, the only sound he heard was the beeping of his phone.

Rong Yue had simply gone ahead to hang up.

Qin Heng's finally softened after the call ended. Jin Fu's chatter was clearly too much, but since he knew his sister was working, he had endured it without saying a word.
