Chapter 30: Stalk Part 2
Chapter 30: Stalk Part 2
He turned once more, looking behind him as he felt a sharp stare behind his back, but once again, he could see no one in the hallway that he was walking in. "Must be the wind…"
He entered the marble restroom; the floor was made out of green jade, and the top out of white marble.
And although the technology was based on magic, it looked like the restroom of the 21st century. All of its technology was replaced with magic, only the aesthetic remained.
On one of the walls, he could see unfinished work. The piping that was inside the walls has not been covered by the marble tiles with all of the wrenches and equipment to fix it just beside the unfinished area.
He quickly entered one of the toilets, and as he was finishing up, he could hear a sound from the door outside of the restroom.
But considering that it could be one of the performers, he ignored it and exited the toilet that he was in.
Washing his hands, he heard the sound coming outside of the restroom again, "What the…"
Pah!
The door slammed open; George took a step back in shock with his hands still wet, "No…"
Akshar stood outside of the restroom, blocking the only exit. "I change my MIND. We FIGHT now." He cracked his knuckles, walking towards George.
George took a stance that the Emerald City guards used, causing Akshar to smile, "Good, I need you to be strong."
George expected his stance to scare him off, but instead, the purist got more excited, "Akshar, do you really want to be humiliated like this? In a toilet?"
Akshar stretched his neck, still maintaining the smile, "I don't care about HUMILIATION."
He, too, then got into his stance, which looked messy.
'Shoot, what now?' George might have known the stance that the Emerald City guards used to fight in hand-to-hand combat scenarios, but that was it; beyond that, he didn't even know how he could throw a proper punch.
Like lighting, he saw Akshar appear in front of him, punching through George's stance, causing him to be pushed backwards towards the unfinished area.
And although he managed to block the punch with his hand, he could still feel the attack affecting his chest, "Puh!" He spat out blood before his whole body collapsed onto the unfinished area walls.
Akshar raised a brow as he saw George on the floor; he looked at his hands before looking at George, "You WEAK… Hahahaha! YOU WEAK!!!" He shouted while walking towards him.
As he stood in front of George, he bent his legs before flicking George's head, causing his head to fling backwards, even though the attack wasn't supposed to do much damage to anyone.
"Hahahaha!!! You not WEAK… You PATHETIC!" Akshar smiled before standing up and going to the sink to wash his hands.
George took this time to breathe as he looked at the barbarian's back, 'I can't let him tell anyone…' His eyes filled with deep anger, trying to reach for something to hold.
He then felt a hard metal object, and as he turned, he saw a wrench in his hand.
He quickly jumped with the wrench, breaking the sink that was nearest to him.
"Huh?" Akshar turned to the noise, but as he did, a sink flew right to his head. "Ah!!" He shouted as he dropped to the ground; part of his teeth had been shattered by the marble sink.
His vision turned red as blood was flowing from his head to his eyes, "You DARE? COWARD!"
He stood up, wiping the blood off his forehead before the same sink that nearly broke his head crashed into him once more.
His eyes rolled back as his body folded in half, dropping on his back to the ground.
George drew all the strength that he had and tried carrying the sink, but his hand wouldn't allow him anymore.
He quickly turned, picking up the wrench, before he felt a kick to his back, throwing him off balance and throwing him down the floor once more; the wrench dropped far from his reach.
"YOU COWARD!! Your TRICKS won't work on ME!!" Akshar shouted as he stomped the ground George was on.
George had barely moved to evade the attack, but the blood-filled in Akshar's eyes managed to blur his vision to miss by that much.
"Come on… Come on…" George whispered as he crawled his way towards the wrench which was just in front of him.
"I said, your TRICKS won't work!!!" He shouted, carrying George by his shirt with one hand.
George shook his own body in hopes that it would cause Akshar to drop him, but the barbarian carried George like a bag.
With just one hand, George was like a cat trapped in a bag, and Akshar was the owner. No matter how George tried, he couldn't escape the bag.
Akshar started swinging George back and forth before,
CRASH!
George's body crashed into the mirrors that were placed just above the sink. "Ahhh!!"
His body dropped on the sink, and his weight, although light, managed to break the sink.
Akshar looked above him; he could see the light that was powered by mana, brightening the entire restroom, "Whoo…" He breathed in and out before wiping off his bloodied eyes.
Looking down at George still on top of the broken sink on the floor, he walked towards him, reaching for his shirt as he planned to do what he had done previously.
TASH!
"Ah!" Akshar felt pain from a blunt force crashing onto his face once more; as he looked forward, he could see George dropping the sink.
George had used his body weight to get up and used the momentum he generated to crash the sink into the purist.
His hand, however, was more strained; he picked up the wrench and rushed towards Akshar, who was still trying to get up and recover from the attack and swung it across his face.
The barbarian faced up before lying on the ground.
George continued smashing the wrench into the barbarian.
He could feel the metal crashing into the flesh and breaking the bone, causing the barbarian's skin to get blued, "You're weak!!! Who is the pathetic one now??!!" He shouted.
But no response came from the barbarian, who was only breathing slightly. 𝑏𝑒𝘥𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑒𝘭.𝘯𝑒𝑡
He stood up, holding his ribs as he reached the door, curling his fist, causing the persona ring to immediately hide his broken self and made him look as if nothing had happened to him.
