Chapter 119: Kidnap (2)

"It's no use without electricity." Chen An shook his head and threw the com aside. He looked out of the window and saw nothing in the dark.

Ivanov patted the bedding already laid beside him, "We can only think of ways tomorrow, An, you sleep first and I will be the night watch." His alertness did not allow him to sleep like this. In this strange place, it was safer to have one person in charge of the vigil.

Chen An did not refuse. After all, he did not like the feeling of being awake alone at night. "Remember to wake me up in the middle of the night, and then you can also have some rest." He lay down beside Ivanov and closed his eyes.

"You can rest your head on my laps..." Ivanov whispered. He wasn't sure if Chen An was really asleep or pretend not to hear, he had no response.

Caressing the man's hair gently, Ivanov put his gun on the side against the head of a bed. The faint light set off Chen An's face more gentle, so Ivanov could not turn his eyes away but keep looking at it.

Then, after midnight, his head tilted, eyes closed and fell asleep.

A stream of white smoke drifted slowly into the room through a crack in the window, and the rain outside was still falling.

"I'm sorry, dear." Ivanov shrugged his shoulders and said brazenly, "Forgive me, you look so charming when you sleep. I'm fascinated, baby."

"It is a miracle that you have lived to this day."

If it weren't for his hands and feet were tied up, Chen An would like to kick Ivanov to death. He shouldn't have placed his hope on this muddleheaded bear. The result of Ivanov's vigil was that the two of them were tied up.

When he woke up, Chen An felt a little bit dizzy. He looked around and found that the place where they were located was not the room in the previous base, but a somewhat shabby wooden house. He was sure that last night he and Ivanov were drugged without any notice and were then taken to this place.

He had thought it was the thieves or aborigines on the island who did it, but the fact that they actually used drugs and escaped Ivanov's awareness showed the ones who stole their rubber dinghy were not ordinary people.

"Is it your enemy?" Chen An could only think of this answer. Although Ivanov was still wanted by the Interpol, if it were Ding Sheng, he would not use this dirty method.

"Dear, how can I have so many enemies?" Ivanov immediately firmly denied that they were caught because of him.

Just as the two were talking, the door of the room was opened from the outside. The sudden sunlight made Chen An and Ivanov squint at the same time. Under the backlighting, they could vaguely see the outline of a young man in a suit.

What was absolutely certain now was that they were not kidnapped by the aborigines on the island.

"Wow, this is a beautiful Asian guy." Ivanov whistled frivolously at the man coming forward.

As the one approached, Chen An could see more clearly the appearance of the young man, who was actually a Chinese. He seemed like just in his mid-20s with a handsome face and looked like an idol star.
