Chapter 348 - Was the intention for her to start a harem? (1)
It had come to Fang JunRong’s attention that every time she had changed the fate of many others, much like she had done so right now, there would be some changes to her dimension.
As soon as she had gotten inside this time, she felt something approaching her from the front. It was so fast that all she could see was a blur. She was startled. Were there animals in the dimension now?
When she looked closely again, she saw a turtle lying underneath a tree not too far away from her. The turtle wasn’t very big; it could fit onto her palm and it didn’t look any different from a regular turtle just from looking at it.
Fang JunRong looked around but did not see any other animals around.
Her look became peculiar, was that really a turtle that dashed in front of her earlier? That was odd.
Usually turtles give the impressions that they are slow with their own rhythm. Then again, she thought, what in the dimension was ordinary anyway? As such, why couldn’t there be a fast turtle?
She walked over to the turtle and the turtle cocked its head and looked at her.
Fang JunRong picked a peach from the tree and handed it over to the turtle.
The turtle took it into it’smouth right away. The peach was almost the size of the turtle but it ate it quickly. In fact, it ate the whole thing almost at the blink of an eye, even the pit.
She thought about it long and hard. This made no sense! How did it eat it? It didn’t even look like the pit could fit in its mouth!
She shook her head and couldn't help but laugh at herself. Why would she think that things need to make sense within the dimension?
She reached out her fingers and touched the turtle. The turtle reached its neck out in a very agreeable fashion.
Fang JunRong played with it for a while and was about to go check on the tablet again. She noticed that the turtle was following her as though it was sentient.
She arrived at the tablet and there were two more medications recipes on there.
However, neither one of them had any details under them, just the two names. Behind them was the option for her to choose – could she consider this an upgrade? Not only was there an animal but that she had options now. She raised her brows and focused on studying the tablet.
Life-Extending Pill: One pill can extend one’s life by 20 years. The more one takes, the less effective it will become. Maximum of 200 years.
Spirit Pill: Build up one’s core, used for life-saving.
Fang JunRong looked at them long and hard and a smile appeared on her after a few seconds. She had already made up her mind and she chose the Spirit Pill right away.
Being rebirthed once was already a blessing. She should be happy with what she had. She didn’t need to live for another 200 years.
Being long-lived by oneself is lonely and she was always afraid of being alone. In addition, something like the Life-Extending Pill would never be a common drug and would very likely bring about a lot of troubles.
Just look at what others had done trying to extend one’s life in history. Anything was possible. The Spirit Pill looked like it could be more beneficial for the masses.
She tapped on Spirit Pill and the three words converted into a stream of light and entered through her fingertip.
At the same moment, the details of the formula appeared in her mind. To her surprise, all of the ingredients could be found in real life. She was truly happy about it this time. Her joy could be seen from the corners of her eyes and the tips of her brows. Lights seemed to be circulating in her eyes.
She must try it after she returns to real life! The trick of the Spirit Pills, however, were wild ginseng. It even recorded a specific way to treat the wild ginseng. As all of the content had been embedded in her head, she didn’t need to spend time on committing them to her memory.
She looked around one more time and, not seeing any other changes, was about to get out of her dimension.
Wait……
