Chapter 105 - -The Floating Courtyard

The system responded: "This action is befitting of a great tycoon’s status!"

Seeing the system’s approval, Velen was not surprised. He smiled faintly and looked at Ethan and Aiden.

"Two senators, I just feel that this place is unworthy of Senator Clinton. Feel free to demolish it boldly. Of course, I won’t have you do this for nothing. Once you complete this task, I will compensate you with some labor fees!"

Upon hearing the words "labor fees" from Velen, both Ethan and Aiden became visibly excited.

After all, the labor fees from Velen were bound to be unimaginably generous!

And indeed, as they got excited—

Velen continued, "I don’t know what you both prefer, so here’s the deal. If you help me demolish and rebuild this courtyard, I’ll give you ten bottles of the potion of your choice!"

Hiss!

The sound of sharp inhaling came simultaneously from Ethan and Aiden.

Extravagant!

Luxurious!

But they loved it!

Ten bottles of their preferred potion!

For them, the temptation was maxed out!

Although their levels were high, they had no absolute confidence in surviving future Thunder Tides and ascending.

With the potions they desired, their chances of success would increase dramatically!

Velen was truly Velen!

As generous as ever!

In an instant, both of them, fueled by excitement, turned into human bulldozers, crashing straight into the courtyard walls, shattering them into dust!

They didn’t even use mana. Since Velen had given them so much, they felt they had to put in extra effort to deserve such benefits!

Otherwise, they would feel guilty for accepting Velen’s generosity!

Velen watched them rampage through the small courtyard like human wrecking balls, his eyes widening in astonishment.

"Senator Ethan, your speed isn’t cutting it! I’ve already leveled the foundation!"

"Senator Aiden, since Velen said to completely demolish the courtyard, we need to utterly pulverize it. Speed alone isn’t enough!"

The two competed against each other, increasing their efficiency, demolishing every building in the courtyard.

Within just a few dozen breaths, the entire area was flattened, as if no courtyard had ever existed there!

Seeing this, Velen immediately took out the Mana Planets he had drawn from the lottery.

Seeing the Mana Planets suddenly appear in Velen’s hands, Aiden and Ethan were puzzled and curiously asked,

"Velen, what are these things?"

They didn’t recognize the Mana Planets, but from them, they could sense an incredibly dense mana fluctuation and exceptionally pure stellar energy!

"These are Mana Planets. Senator Clinton likes them very much. Use them to reconstruct the courtyard. And remember, don’t leave a single one behind."

Velen instructed.

"Alright!"

Although they felt these Mana Planets were highly unusual and extremely valuable, considering Velen’s usual extravagant nature, it wasn’t surprising for him to use them so casually.

"Velen, don’t worry. Leave it to us. We’ll make sure it turns out great!"

As a master forger, Ethan confidently declared.

After all, it was just a courtyard. He could build one effortlessly.

Even if he had to use these special Mana Planets, it wouldn’t be a problem!

Velen had full confidence in the two of them, so he nodded and said,

"Then I’ll be waiting for good news from you!"

After saying that, Velen turned and left.

Watching Velen’s departing figure, Aiden turned to Ethan and said,

"Senator Ethan, these Mana Planets are highly unique. They can naturally gather mana and earth elements. If we use them to construct a small courtyard, we might not even use them all!"

His keen perception allowed him to clearly sense the special fluctuations emanating from the Mana Planets. Just one of these could build an extraordinary structure.

"Using them all might be difficult, but ten bottles of potion don’t come easy."

Ethan naturally understood this, and after a brief contemplation, he had an idea.

"How about this—let’s just build a floating island and use the extra Mana Planets as the foundation!"

Hearing this, Aiden’s eyes immediately lit up.

"Great idea! A floating courtyard made of Mana Planets—something like this has never existed in any galaxy!"

Ethan said proudly, "Of course! Since Velen has given us such a grand reward, we have to make it the best. Let’s get started!"

Meanwhile, Clinton was following Robert around the fortress, familiarizing himself with the environment.

"Ducal Manor?"

"You’re saying this fortress was built by Anastasia, the daughter of Ducal Manor?"

After listening to Robert’s introduction, Clinton was utterly bewildered.

After all, Ducal Manor was no small force—it had existed in the Titan Galaxy for many years.

Given Anastasia’s background, how could this fortress be considered a small faction?!

The fortress already had so many powerful senators, and with Ducal Manor as its strongest backing,

This fortress had become a colossal force!

Clinton narrowed his eyes, growing even more intrigued by the fortress.

But soon, he noticed Robert tilting his head back and drinking a potion, his expression somewhat complicated.

"By the way, Senator Robert, you’ve been drinking that potion all along. I sense some rather special effects from it."

He had noticed that Robert’s expression soured every time he drank the potion, clearly indicating it wasn’t pleasant. Yet, Robert kept drinking it.

Robert did not immediately respond but instead asked,

Updat𝓮d from frёewebnoѵēl.com.

"Senator Clinton, since you’re a Soul Master, you must have a unique bloodline, correct?"

Although Clinton wasn’t sure why Robert was asking this, he still nodded.

"Yes, that’s right. I do possess a unique bloodline, and I have already reached the highest level possible within the Lower Plane Universe. Only by entering the Upper Plane Universe can my bloodline continue to evolve."

Upon hearing this, Robert smirked mysteriously.

"What if I told you that you could break the limit and continue upgrading your bloodline even within the Lower Plane Universe?"

"That’s impossible!" Clinton shook his head repeatedly. "Senator Robert, the Lower Plane Universe is restricted by the higher realms. Bloodline upgrades beyond a certain level are exponentially harder…"

Yet, just as he said that, a certain figure suddenly flashed through his mind—Velen.

If it were anywhere else, it might truly be impossible, but with Velen, perhaps it was possible!

Immediately, his eyes widened as he stared at the empty potion bottle in Robert’s hand, his face full of disbelief.

"Senator Robert, don’t tell me… this potion can upgrade my bloodline?"

Robert nodded.

"That’s right. Velen gave me this bloodline-enhancing potion. It significantly boosts bloodline potential, but it tastes horrible. And… it takes 100,000 bottles to trigger a true transformation!"

"Before long, you’ll be just like us, drinking these potions every day."

At this point, Robert didn’t say any more. After all, only by experiencing it firsthand could one truly understand.

Hearing how serious Robert was, Clinton subconsciously believed it to be true. He grew even more expectant of the fortress.

After all, if he could break his bloodline limits, his combat power would skyrocket!

As for the terrible taste?

He didn’t think it could be that bad.

Suddenly, Clinton pointed curiously at a restroom in the distance.

"Senator Robert, at our level, we no longer need restrooms, right? Why is there one here, and in such a central location?"

"Oh, that? Velen had it built recently," Robert glanced at it, his expression turning complex.

He wasn’t sure whether to be amazed or exasperated.

After all, this restroom was anything but ordinary!

Velen had poured countless precious resources into it!

Hearing that this was Velen’s facility, Clinton suddenly recalled something the Ironback Centipede had told him.

"Senator Robert, before I arrived, I heard that Velen used a Level 9 Forge as an incinerator. Is that true?"

Robert looked at Clinton in surprise.

"Didn’t expect you to be so well-informed. Yeah, he not only placed a Level 9 Forge beneath the restroom, but he’s also planning to build a Starry Stone toilet to withstand the Thunder Tide!"

"For those of us who haven’t fully endured the Thunder Tide yet, that Starry Stone toilet is a godsend!"
