Chapter 1856B – Bloodshed

Chapter 1856B – Bloodshed

A long, long time ago, Galaxy personally took action and brought a catastrophe that annihilated the Ancient Clan. Since then, the bloodline of the Ancient Clan was cut off and they disappeared from this world entirely. The only evidence that the powerful Ancient Clan ever existed was the tower of corpses beneath the divine temple in the depths of this galaxy.

It could also be seen as Galaxy’s way of showing his status and strength, but in actual fact, no one knew that he left a trick up his sleeve when the Ancient Clan met with a catastrophe. And today, those corpses from the Ancient Clan who had been ‘revived’ according to the Blazing Sun’s will, were the preparations that Galaxy Blazing Sun had made to deal with any unforeseen accidents. These corpses had a deep, cold, and violent aura.

In all fairness, Galaxy Blazing Sun hoped that all his caution and efforts would not be used one day. However, the facts had proven that his worries were justified, because the situation that he wished would not happen the most was still going to happen in the end. The Ancient Clan was destroyed, but the last of its bloodline had survived, and against all odds, became a new Blazing Sun Owner. He would definitely fight against Galaxy Blazing Sun eventually. Therefore, when the time came, Galaxy Blazing Sun would not hesitate to play this card.

It was a card that, when used against other Blazing Sun Owners, was completely ineffective, but when used against Qin Yu, it was extremely powerful. This was because the Ancient Clan bloodline was interconnected. If Qin Yu destroyed these ‘revived’ Ancient Clan corpses, it would be equivalent to destroying himself.

When Qin Yu and Galaxy’s auras clashed with each other in the depths of the galaxy, the other Blazing Sun Owners could immediately feel it and they looked over instantly.

In the Magma World, Blazing Sun Owner Red Sea had a cold look on her face and in her eyes. It was the complete opposite of the red hot magma around her. She frowned slightly as she looked towards the depths of the galaxy and ‘saw’ those ‘revived’ corpses from the Ancient Clan. For a moment, she looked taken aback.

Since the trump card that was prepared back then was now activated, naturally, Qin Yu no longer had any chance of winning. She really hoped to see Qin Yu take a big loss today in the depths of the galaxy…that’s right, Red Sea never thought that Qin Yu would die. Even in a battle between Blazing Sun Owners, it was hard to kill the other party.

However, as long as Qin Yu was heavily wounded and fell into a weak state, Red Sea would not mind starting a second battle. In actual fact, even if Qin Yu was not killed today, she was still in the same predicament as Galaxy. From the beginning, both of them were already standing on the opposite side as Qin Yu. There was no longer any possibility that their relationship could be improved. The only way that the hatred between them could end was if one of them died.

……

Since Origin owned a palace of their own, Final, who was in the same realm as them, naturally possessed a place of his own as well. There was a black sea that made no sound as the waves surged. A lone island stood in the middle of this black sea and as the waves hit against the shore repeatedly, they broke without a sound.

There were only rocks on this island. Apart from them, there was nothing else. Not even a building…after all, this island was not even a hundred feet wide. No matter where one stood on the island, one could see the entirety of it.

Final stayed right here. After that huge battle of that year where Origin shattered and disintegrated, Final was also left with one shadow. This shadow, who was facing the black sea, rubbed his forehead and helplessness could be seen on his face. “Even though you think I am doing this for my own revenge, I still think that the battle between Blazing Sun Owners should be prohibited.”

The Ruler was right behind him and she smiled after hearing those words. “If you really wanted to stop this from happening, you would’ve taken action a long time ago. What’s the point of rambling here? You are truly so hypocritical.”

Final shook his head, “Before I speak to you, how am I supposed to stop this? After all, if you decide to act shamelessly, I am not the one you are going against.” Without any outsiders here, he could speak his mind more directly. After narrowing his eyes, he continued, “Why don’t we make a bet?”

The Ruler smiled and said, “Did you forget about the bet that you just lost? You are not my opponent when it comes to making bets.”

“It is precisely because I lost the bet before that I feel indignant. That’s why I want to make another bet.” Final raised his hand, pointed forward and said, “Let’s bet on who can win in this battle between Qin Yu and Galaxy.”

The Ruler asked, “What does the winner get?”

“If Qin Yu wins, I promise that I will not touch him before Origin is restored completely.” Final spoke calmly, “You should know that if I was intent on killing Qin Yu, it would not be difficult to achieve.”

The Ruler looked deep in thought for a while, before she said, “This bet is not bad. At the very least, we’ll be able to relax a bit. Otherwise, it is really tiring for me to keep an eye on you all the time as well.” She wiped her hands against each other and said, “Let’s bet then!”

Final frowned, “Can’t you be more sincere? You did not even ask what you would have to give if you lose the bet.”

The Ruler waved her hand, “It’s okay, there’s no need for that. Qin Yu will not lose.”

She looked absolutely full of confidence.

Final laughed, “You’re that confident? Okay then, from this moment on, the bet is on!” As both of them stood side by side, they lowered their heads and looked at the black sea and the waves that were surging. An image gradually appeared, and it showed the battle that was happening in the depths of the galaxy, far away from where they were.

At this moment, the Ancient Clan corpses beneath that divine temple started to open their eyes one by one. Their eyes were pitch black and looked as deep as an abyss.

Final glanced at the Ruler and though his face was calm, his smile became wider. “Even though you have that expression on your face right now, don’t forget that no one in this world has a more intimate relationship than we do, so you can’t hide the emotions in your heart from me…perhaps, now, you would be interested to know what price you have to pay if you lose the bet.”

The Ruler raised an eyebrow. “Final, you seem to have forgotten that even though we came from the same source and this makes us greatly connected with each other, I am still a woman in the end, and women are fickle. Your familiarity and perception of me have become less accurate over time. Furthermore, you and I had not met for a very long time before the battle between the Blazing Suns took place.”

Final nodded, “You are a woman, so I admit that you are more qualified to speak on this topic. However, no matter how stubborn you sound, it’s not going to help you gain any more confidence, so let’s watch and see. Time will give us all the answers we need.”

The Ruler sighed and spoke softly, “Since you know that only time can give us answers, why are you still spouting so much nonsense then?” She rubbed her forehead, trying to prevent the annoyance and helplessness from showing in her eyes. She did not think that Galaxy would be smart enough to leave behind such a trump card for himself.

Killing someone from the Ancient Clan using the Ancient Clan itself…it was a simple and crude method, but since it made use of the Ancient Clan bloodline’s special quality, even the Ruler could not help but admit that it was an extremely effective trump card to be used against Qin Yu.

The Ruler was slightly regretful. Back then, she should not have stimulated Qin Yu so much, which caused the flame in his chest to burn too intensely. In order for Qin Yu to not burn himself, he could only vent in the depths of the galaxy. But it was too late to think about all of this now.

And just as the Ruler was feeling frustrated about this, the huge battle between the Blazing Sun Owners in the depths of the galaxy had erupted.

Qin Yu narrowed his bloodshot eyes as he looked at the corpses of the Ancient Clan that had been ‘resurrected’. He felt a burning pain in his chest, like there was a pair of large hands trying to pull his body apart.

It was said that the dead should be respected, and that they should be buried so that they could rest in peace. However, these sayings did not apply to the elders of the Ancient Clan. After dying to a catastrophe that befell them, they were used by someone else as a pillar to hold up their divine temple, and there they stayed for countless years. And now, they were once again used as puppets to kill their last descendant. This was something that made Qin Yu incomparably furious and he found it impossible to accept.

Therefore, Qin Yu felt like there was a stack of bricks piled up on his chest, making it hard to breathe. As he glared at Galaxy Blazing Sun furiously, who had a Great Sun Illusion between his eyebrows, a thought appeared to him that was as clear as day. If I don’t kill you, this hatred between us will never end.

But right now, there were corpses belonging to the Ancient Clan that blocked him. Qin Yu did not know them, but he could clearly feel his relationship with them and Galaxy’s sinister intentions behind using them.

Right at this moment, in Qin Yu’s soul space, the Cosmic Seacross Bell that was forged by the Ancient Clan right before the catastrophe happened suddenly rang. When Qin Yu became a new Blazing Sun Owner, it had entered a state of hibernation. At this moment, it seemed to have noticed an aura from the outside world, or perhaps, the ‘resurrected’ Ancient Clan corpses had caused the Cosmic Seacross Bell to be awoken.

Whoosh –

Following the ringing of the bell, Meimei’s figure appeared. “Master, I awoke some of your memories; perhaps they will be useful to you.” After getting Qin Yu’s approval, she transmitted these memories into his mind.

There, Qin Yu found a plan that the Ancient Clan had prepared for many years. An unbelievable plan! This was because the Ancient Clan seemed to have expected that such a day would come countless years later, so before they forged the Cosmic Seacross Bell, they had already made the necessary arrangements.

“I don’t know whose descendant you are, but if this message has been released, it means that the Ancient Clan has risen again and now possesses the qualifications to challenge a Blazing Sun. Us elders who have died already are proud of you, so there is no need for you to care about how our physical bodies are being used. Perhaps this might actually be freeing for us. After all, being humiliated like this is against our wishes, so we look forward to the moment when we can march bravely into the arms of death. If we can pull the enemy into the depths of hell together with us as we die, it would be the best outcome for us.”

Qin Yu took a deep breath. He was not sure what exactly happened a long time ago, but everything that Galaxy Blazing Sun did, including leaving this trump card behind, was possibly all part of the Ancient Clan’s plans.

These plans were erected even before the Ancient Clan was met with a catastrophe, and this gave Qin Yu a newfound understanding of the Ancient Clan. It turned out that the Ancient Clan was even more domineering than he thought!

“Ancient!”

With a roar, Qin Yu took a step forward. His body started to increase in size rapidly. In just a few moments, he became a towering giant over ten thousand feet in height, releasing a terrifying aura from his body.

He raised his hand and punched, but to the surprise of all those watching this battle, this heavy punch was not directed at the ‘resurrected’ Ancient Clan corpses, and neither was it aimed towards Galaxy Blazing Sun who stood behind these corpses. Instead, it landed on Qin Yu’s chest. Following a loud ‘bang’, his chest burst open, causing flesh and blood to spurt out.

Because there was so much fresh blood and the giant that Qin Yu turned into was sufficiently large, the blood that flowed out was like rain that poured down in the depths of the galaxy. And most of this blood rain landed on these ‘resurrected’ Ancient Clan corpses with deep, dark eyes, covering them entirely with blood.

The moment the blood came into contact with these pale and gray corpses that had been dead for an endless length of time, it integrated into them directly. After absorbing their descendant’s Ancient Clan blood, these ‘resurrected’ elders began to undergo a visible change.

The most obvious change was the light that appeared in their deep and dark eyes…red, as if stained by blood, making them look incomparably violent and barbaric. This made people feel fearful.

Galaxy Blazing Sun frowned as he saw anger appear in the eyes of these Ancient Clan puppets that he revived according to his will. Right at this moment, the blood rain that fell as a result of Qin Yu’s self-mutilation caused those Ancient Clan puppets that were completely within Galaxy’s control to suddenly ‘stagnate’.

This ‘stagnation’ was as if they had stuck both their hands in quicksand, and even though they could move according to their own will, it seemed extremely difficult and they needed to exhaust a lot of energy just to move.

Most importantly, after this happened, with every passing moment, the ‘stagnation’ became worse and worse, as if the temperature of the invisible quicksand was plummeting, causing it to start freezing over…and it seemed like this wave of coldness was slowly making its way over, spreading throughout the Ancient Clan puppets and slowly moving towards Galaxy Blazing Sun.

A problem had occurred!

Even though Galaxy Blazing Sun could not figure out how Qin Yu could destroy this trump card that he left behind after annihilating the Ancient Clan back then, and even cause it to backfire…undeniably, that was exactly what was happening right now.

Great figures oftentimes possessed powerful willpower and determination, so when Galaxy Blazing Sun became sure of what was happening, he did not hesitate to throw this trump card away. Even though this made him feel extremely disappointed since this would mean that he would have to fight a desperate battle with Qin Yu afterwards, he had no choice but to do this.

However, what made Galaxy more furious was that although he had already reacted very quickly to these developments, it was still too late, because that wave of coldness had already made its way to him. Those ‘resurrected’ Ancient Clan puppets stopped moving forward. Their huge bodies slowly turned around, and those deep and dark eyes were now shining with a blood red flame as they locked their gaze onto Galaxy.

Roar –

One roar rang out, then two, then three…countless dead Ancient Clan elders started to roar. Their souls had vanished and their consciousness had collapsed a long time ago so they did not know what they were doing right now, but this did not change the fact that their roars were filled with hatred and the smell of blood.

Rumble, rumble –

The whole galaxy was trembling!

Those countless ‘resurrected’ Ancient Clan elders began to run wildly, charging forward determinedly towards Galaxy Blazing Sun and towards that divine temple behind him which had suppressed them for an endless span of time!
