The Goblins' confidence was at an all-time high, having stood their ground for a while now. Their fear of the group of Gray Wolves had plummeted.

The Gray Wolf snapped its jaws, and the Goblins thrust their spears at once.

A painful whimper echoed, sending shivers down the rest of the Gray Wolves' spines.

Their eyes narrowed.

There was no way for them to win if they continued to approach them one by one.

All had to attack at once in order to stand a chance at a great feast. The three Gray Wolves realized this at once.

'Let's see how this goes.' Kin thought to himself, clearly amused by the situation.

The three Gray Wolves leaped at once, each coming at the group of Goblins from a different situation.

The first Goblin thrusted its spear, but the Gray Wolf was quick enough to swing its paw with perfect timing causing the spear to miss completely.

The Goblin's back hit the ground immediately as it shrieked, its trembling arm muscles struggling against the Gray Wolf's weight that was aiming for the former's neck.

The second Goblin immediately took a defensive posture, holding the spear to protect itself against the Gray Wolf's advance and shoving the handle between the latter's jaws. The weight led to the Goblin falling to the ground as well.

The third Goblin's spear wounded the attacking Gray Wolf. Unfortunately, it was only graze, something that the Goblin realized too late. The Gray Wolf's jaws reached the Goblin's neck, killing it immediately.

However, before that Gray Wolf could raise its snout off the third Goblin's neck, a spear thrust by the fourth Goblin ended its life.

'If everything goes well, only one will remain.' Kin thought to himself as he watched.

Everything did go well.

The only free Goblin managed to fatally wound the remaining Gray Wolves, but not before their fangs reached the pinned-down Goblins.

In the end, only one Goblin remained.

One Muscular Goblin.

Kin took a deep breath in and started moving forward.

With his Disappearance Skill on Cooldown, he had no choice but to fight the Muscular Goblin head-on.

He ran and ran towards the Muscular Goblin who was standing with its back to former.

Once the distance was closed, the Muscular Goblin started turning around and,

"Fuck..." Kin whispered as he looked around.

"Yeah." The Muscular Goblin sighed upon realizing that it was just another Goblin from the same tribe approaching. "Thankfully I managed to-"

The Muscular Goblin's mind froze as its spear was snatched from its hands.

"What are you doing?"

Kin didn't answer the question.

Instead, he threw the spear as far away as he could before taking both sharpened horns into his hands.

The Muscular Goblin's confusion grew, but it still had the presence to dodge Kin's attack.

"What...?"

The Muscular Goblin's eyes widened as it realized.

A second later, its eyes narrowed as internal rage started burning inside its mind.

'He's trying to kill me so that the Chief will think all these Gray Wolves were thanks to him...' The Muscular Goblin gritted its teeth. 'He wants to take the female from me!'

Holding both sharpened horns above, Kin ran towards the Muscular Goblin, determined to pierce this chest with both weapons.

"Bring it on!" The Muscular Goblin shouted as it ran forward to meet Kin's attack. "Ha! I got you!"

Kin gritted his teeth, but there was no winning in a contest of strength.

The Muscular Goblin's Strength Stat was much higher.

It had grabbed both of Kin's wrists, and the latter was completely unable to free himself.

"Ugh...!"

The Muscular Goblin started exerting more power. Soon, Kin found himself with his back arched. It wouldn't take long for him to lose his balance and fall to the ground. In a couple of seconds, the Muscular Goblin would have Kin the same way that the Gray Wolves had defeated the last few Goblins!

"I'm going to bring you to the ground and kill you! The female is mine! I will be the one to impregnate her after the Chief! Ha! I will be thinking about you while I make her moan and fill her with my-"

The Muscular Goblin's words trailed off as its lips curled upwards.

'Going for a headbutt? Bring it on-'

It wasn't a headbutt.

The pressure around Kin's wrists slowly weakened, and the Muscular Goblin fell to the ground.

'You said that eating was one of the ways of getting Evolution Points, right?' Kin chuckled internally, a large portion of the Muscular Goblin's neck resting between his jaws, between his Canine Fangs.

He raised his chin and swallowed it.

"As I thought," Kin smiled as he looked around him. "These Fangs will be useful against humanoid enemies."

"Hey! Time to head back. The sun is setting." A Goblin shouted.

Kin slowly turned around.

"Ha... You're going back empty-handed. Too bad for you!" The Goblin chuckled as it raised a dead Horned Hare into the air.

Because of how cold Kin's gaze was, the Goblin's smile quickly disappeared from its face.

It coughed, and started running towards the village.

Kin noted the direction that the Goblin had taken.

He went back to staring at the floating System Message in front of him.
