Volume 10 - Chapter 67: Extreme Evil

POV: Bai Yueguang

“Arcane – Iaido Slash!”

Blade flashing, the enemy leading the charge was turned into a split corpse. Even as he fell to the ground he had an expression of confusion.

“Ridiculous, that impertinent bastard still wanted to be my enemy?”

I looked at the werewolves. They couldn’t help but to stop their charge and look at each other.

But at that moment, several arrows shot out from behind me and went straight into their eyes. The werewolves screamed and fell, foaming at the mouth. Turning around, Hei Luoli was holding several arrows in her hand. The arrows shot out one by one, each accurately piercing the eyes of the werewolves. Not long after that all of the surrounding werewolves fell down.

“Hey! What are you going to do if you waste all of your arrows?”

Hei Luoli looked at me before pulling another arrow.

“What do you think is in my storage ring? There’s tons of arrows of course~ Poisonous, non-poisonous, paralyzing, and any other type that you can think of.”

Hei Luoli said happily as she showed me the storage ring I had bought her.

“That’s……”

You……no wonder you throw all the things you buy into my storage ring. Your original ring was completely filled with weapons. Really, don’t you ever think about how I feel……

But at that instant a flash of lightning came from the sky, striking Felicia’s Thousand Year Frozen River.

For some time after that, the ice chunks fell from from the sky, burying the werewolves around us.

But that wasn’t the worst thing because there was a familiar feeling coming from where the lightning came from.

“Ghostify……?”

It’s a familiar feeling, that instant release of evil. There’s no doubt, it’s the power of ghosts.

“Isn’t Fir too impatient? Isn’t he Ghostifying too quickly?

At that moment, another destructive force burst from the same area causing even the surrounding space to become distorted!

I don’t know what it is, but a liquid-like dark substance falling as well as black a black fog and some sort of red energy could be seen spreading all over the surroundings!

“What’s going on? Even if he were to Ghostify and Berserk at the same time it shouldn’t be like this. What the hell is Fir……”

At the same time, a figure with two red ponytails and wolf ears jumped towards us, shouting as she landed.

“Bai! Do you have any healing potions? How many are there?”

Seeing Aliyah’s look of panic and Oyado in her arms vomiting blood I couldn’t say anything. All I could do was take out a few bottles of healing potion.

But when I passed them over, Aliyah wasn’t able to pry open Oyado’s mouth.

“What the hell, how are you supposed to drink……no matter what I’ll just pour it straight on!”

Aliyah grimaced and poured the healing potion directly on Oyado’s wound.

But the black spurs seemed to push the healing potion away, letting none of it in.

“Damn it, I’m directly**right?”

“This isn’t good. If the medicine doesn’t work then Oyado will bleed to death from these wounds!”

“This……”

Aliyah’s hand paused in mid-air.

“Damn it! The only one of us that can heal has gone crazy. Seriously, why doesn’t this world let people learn recovery magic!”

“What the hell happened to Fir? I can understand that he’s angry because Oyado was hurt, but he’s far more dangerous the way he is now.”

“You would do the same if you ever met someone that’s past level 100. If he didn’t then there would be no way we could get away.”

Aliyah looked hopeless.

“Maybe we were overconfident……”

“No, this is part of the learning process.”

With a bang, Tai Shixi jumped and landed next to us holding her two halberds.

“Since it’s a skill we learned then is a source of power. While others might say that it’s evil, it’s just another skill to us.”

“That’s easy for you to say.”

I said with a wry smile.

“Even if it’s just a skill to us, it’s not so easy to control. Fir and I have experimented several times and using that skill only caused both of us to get hurt.”

“That’s your problem……well, lets solve the more immediate problem. Hidden Technique – Encompassing Healing Star!”

As soon as she had spoke, eight characters flew out from Tai Shixi’s arms and surrounded Oyado.

“Now, pull those bones**!”

Aliyah was able to react quickly. She immediately pulled out the three bone spurs as soon as Tai Shixi had spoken.

But, because they were surrounded by the eight characters, no blood came from the wounds.

“Right, potions!”

Aliyah poured in 5, 6 potions. While these potions weren’t cheap to buy, their effects were good for their cost.

These potions usually only restore a little bit of physical strength, but if we used it on others the effect becomes quantified and the healing effect is more obvious. In just a moment, Oyado’s HP had been restored and her wounds closed up.

“A Hidden Technique? Although I learned some of the basics, I never expected to become that powerful.”

Hei Luoli exclaimed nearby.

“Since each school has it’s own characteristics, I can’t say that learning just a little bit is an accomplishment.”

“All right, you don’t have to give a sermon, Tai Shixi. Since Fir is so desperate, wouldn’t you agree that we have to do something?”

“Well~ I don’t care.”

She said with a slow wave.

“I’m really bored~ Super Arcane – Dragon Fall!”

A shadowy golden dragon came out of her body. Just how much does she like dragons? All of the skills she learns have to do with them.

“Ah, I can only rely on others.”

I said as I pulled out my sword.

“Ghost Technique – Supernatural Reliance!”

Fury swelled up inside of me, but I clenched my teeth and resisted the urge to slash at people as I turned to Tai Shixi.

“Let’s go. Hei Luoli, you and Aliyah watch Oyado. We’re going now.”

After that we accelerated and ran towards the wall of ice.

We weren’t able to see Felicia’s figure when we reached the wall.

No, I should say that it wasn’t the figure that we were familiar with.

There was a new Demon King, or perhaps something worse.

Behind her, countless curious eyes were peering out of a rend in space and pairs of transparent hands were reaching out of it grabbing onto Fir’s original body from all directions.

Felicia, wearing a red evening gown that had appeared out of nowhere, was holding a book with eyes on it against Fir’s body.

The inside of the book opened up like a mouth and was biting onto a transparent figure coming out of Fir’s body, as if the figure was being pulled into the book.

“This……”

I swallowed and turned to Tai Shixi.

“That……what the hell is that?”

“It’s probably that he mixed countless ‘evils’ in his body for the sake of power, and because of that it formed its own consciousness and controlled her instead?”

“That guy……he’s a huge source of trouble.”

“Really? You’ve only been staring at her chest.”

“Hey! You have to take in the sights when you can. Don’t go around spouting nonsense! I can be anywhere!”

“Hmph~ God only knows~~~”

Tai Shixi gave a light laugh. Pointing the two halbards, she dove in.

“Ah! You……”

I held my head and looked that the sword in my other hand.

“Well, if worst comes to worst we can be resurrected!”

And rushed in.
