Chapter 266 - Miracle Doctor? (神医?)

266- Miracle Doctor? (神医?)

The Jiang Family’s teahouse was surrounded by shops selling porcelain or antiques, while the potential spot that Jing Yun Zhao found was located at the end of the street, which had a lake and a park near it’s location. Although the scenery and air quality were good, the traffic of people here just could not compare with the Jiang Family’s teahouse.

However this wasn’t a big problem for Jing Yun Zhao. After all, although this location is relatively remote compared to other locations, it wouldn’t matter much as a teahouse would be built here.

The stores near the river were colder compared to the other locations, hence why most of the stores had “For Sale/Rent” signs on them. With that, Jing Yun Zhao went up to the sign and remembered the contact information on it, only then did she leave.

Upon arriving home, Jing Yun Zhao called Bai Yu An for two reasons. The first was to ask Bai Yu An to hire some people to work as tea sales attendants and the second was in hopes that Bai Yu An would negotiate the price with the store’s owner.

This was because even though her company, Yu Ling Wines was still expanding and generating a stable income, a lot of expenses was incurred from the initial investment of the company, hence why the amount of money spent on the store couldn’t be too much. At the same time, Jing Yun Zhao also decided that they would rent instead of buying for the time being if the asking price of the owner was too high.

The next morning, Jing Yun Zhao received five phone calls in quick succession.

She remembered that Old Man Xu gave all of his sick patients to her, and now they were all reaching out towards her for help.

The five patients were all from Hua Ning County, clearly it was no coincidence and was arranged by Old Man Xu. With that, Jing Yun Zhao made appointments with each patient and took note of their address one by one.

The people that could find Old Man Xu for his services obviously wouldn’t be suffering from the common cold or fever.

And so, Jing Yun Zhao changed into a clean and tidy white shirt, took the case that Grandpa Gan gave her, and went out.

The people who recognized Jing Yun Zhao in this community weren’t small, and seeing her carrying a medical box so early in the morning caused many of them to look on in curiosity. However with Jing Yun Zhao’s unfriendly temperament, no one dared to come forward and ask her any questions until she called a taxi towards her destination.

The first patient lived in a remote private residential compound, with good scenery. The moment Jing Yun Zhao knocked on the door, hurried steps could be heard coming towards the door.

“Dr. Jing?!” The person behind the door asked in a nervous voice as she opened a small crack.

However, the person froze for a second before looking at the surroundings as if to find someone else when she saw Jing Yun Zhao.f𝙧ee𝘄𝐞𝚋𝐧૦ѵeƖ.c𝘰𝓶

“You don’t need to look around for Dr. Jing, I am Dr.Jing.” Jing Yun Zhao said politely.

This morning, when I spoke to her through the phone she was very eager and excited, but seeing her confusion now, did she think that an elderly physician would come instead of me?

“Are...are you the miracle doctor that Old Man Xu introduced?” The woman asked in surprise with a hint of suspicion.

Hearing that, Jing Yun Zhao was surprised. Getting called a miracle doctor? This doesn’t seem like something Old Man Xu would say, he would normally call her stupid while she was processing herbs; he would say that her hands-on experience was abysmal. Rarely he would praise her.

“Can I go in?” asked instead of denying the woman’s claim.

These type of people would question her medical skills just because of her age, if she were to be humble and deny the woman’s claim, it’ll only increase the other party’s suspicion instead of reassuring them.

Arrogance, in fact, is also a capital.

The woman finally said after deliberating for a moment, “Ple- Please come in...”

With that, Jing Yun Zhao walked into the house. With a glance, Jing Yun Zhao saw that the courtyard had some planted flowers, however the house was lacking in everyday household appliances, making this house seem like a place where people have inhabited for a long time. When she entered the hall, there was an old lady sitting beside a 13-14 year old boy who was lying on a bed.

Seeing the old lady, Jing Yun Zhao inadvertently thought about Xiang Jin’s mother-in-law and felt her heart skip a beat.
