Chapter 313: Expelled (勒令退学)
The mother-son duo left in frustration after not being able to achieve their objective, since they’ve only been suffering loss after loss ever since stepping foot in the tea house.
However, in just a little under two hours, the both of them realized that everybody seemed to know that they went to Yu Ling Tea Pavilion to cause a ruckus. They didn’t know whose mouth was so big that they told everybody about this.
Jiang Wen Sheng was so pissed that he wanted to murder someone. He had never seen someone so stupid, he allowed her to go and survey the situation, yet she still acted so recklessly. Not only that, it was fine if she failed to harm the other business’s reputation, but not only did she fail, she also lost money and their reputation in the process.
However, this incident that would lead to further repercussions wasn’t something that the Jiang Family had expected.
The next day, Jing Yun Zhao went to the principal’s office and showed him the love letter Jiang Xia wrote to her. With a glance, the principal’s face turned dark.
If this matter were to be leaked out, not only would the school’s reputation take a big hit, but the higher-ups would surely criticise his reputation as a respectable principal. As a result, Jing Yun Zhao didn’t plan on raising such a big fuss over this incident. After all, the school had also helped her previously, and the principal was also someone who makes decisions based on facts and practicality, causing there to be no need for the principal to be criticised by people just for Jiang Xia.
Now that the school has received something like this from Jing Yun Zhao, how could the school allow such a morally depraved person to continue studying here?
If Jiang Xia had written a normal love letter, he would only get a warning at most, and if he were to ignore the warnings multiple times, then he would get some demerit penalties. However, the contents of the love letter he wrote would cause people to gossip and point fingers. As a result, the school expelled Jiang Xia.
Jiang Xia originally thought that this matter was settled a long time ago, yet this incident was brought back to light now.
Being expelled would surely be a stain on his studies or achievements, and if he wanted to transfer to a new school with the same quality of education would cost a lot of money. However, transferring to any second or third-rate schools wasn’t something Jiang Xia could accept.
It’s all Jing Yun Zhao’s fault.
Not only did she beat me and scammed me out of a 100,000 yuan, now she also ruined me.
Although the love letter wasn’t announced to the public, the fact that Jiang Xia was expelled was announced. Now, everybody knew the filthy and obscene things he wrote about, and the girls that were close to him before were now ignoring him, with some staring at him with a disgusted gaze.
How did this happen? Before, he was the class president and had a good relationship with everybody. Not only that, his looks were considered the best in school and he was also the captain of the basketball team. The amount of girls that loved him was uncountable, yet he was treated like gangster now.
The difference in treatment was just too big!
While the Jiang Family’s husband-wife duo was heavily affected when they were informed about Jiang Xia’s expulsion.
“We should’ve just let Jing Yun Zhao leak the contents of the love letter! We tried to cover it up with so much money, yet the truth was still exposed!” Jiang Wen Sheng said through gritted teeth.
At that time Jing Yun Zhao also beated Jiang Xia, and they wanted to make her pay for it!
Jiang Xia’s head was still lowered as his whole body trembled with frustration.
“Dad, can you let me study in Ning City? I heard that the education and environment there is good…” Jiang Xia said after a moment of silence.
If it was before, Jiang Wen Sheng would’ve entertained Jiang Xia, yet now he instantly rejected Jiang Xia’s request, shaking his head as he replied, “That’s not possible since you’ve already been expelled. The schools in Ning City only need to make a phone call to your previous school to get information about your expulsion. As a result, even if I were to bribe them, there wouldn’t be any guarantee that they would accept a problematic student like you.”
“Xiao-xia, I hope that you’ll forget about this ridiculous request. Also, there’s so many other high schools in this county, you could just pick any of them. After all, it’s better to be a chicken head than a phoenix tail1, and when you’ve enrolled in any one of those schools, your results is enough for you to outshine anyone there, even the teachers there wouldn’t care about what you did previously…” Jiang Wen Sheng continued.
The results of the students at those third-rated high schools were abysmal and the school’s enrollment rate was terrible. If Jiang Xia were to enroll there, they would welcome him with open arms. (C:I feel personally attacked.)
“Oh right, when you guys were at Yu Ling Tea Pavilion, what was Jing Yun Zhao doing there? Was she working as a part-time worker?”
