Chapter 245 Mutation
In the end, fighting against the Bee Queen at the Krysal stage was not exactly tiresome.
This astonished Kyle a bit, but he was certainly not displeased.
'Looks like the spores are much stronger than I initially expected!'
After the Bee Queen had been killed, there was nothing that held Kyle back from killing the other Deadly Honey Bees.
He simply absorbed the Soul energy of the Bee Queen before using it to nurture Arashi.
Considering that there were thousands of Bees around him, Kyle figured that all their combined Soul energy would be more than enough to fill the mutation path of Arashi to the brim.
This was amazing, which led Kyle to continue his killing spree on all the monsters around him.
More than an hour passed before the duo was done reaping the Soul energy of all deadly honey bees at the Vitae stage.
His body was overflowing with Soul energy, which he used on Arashi, everything at once.
The Spirit Soul's mutation path was filled quickly. It was much faster than he expected and required one-third less Soul energy than Kyle first calculated. 𝙛𝑟𝑒e𝘸𝑒𝗯𝘯𝗼𝘃el.𝒄𝒐m
This was weird, but he didn't really think much about it. After all, it was certainly advantageous for him if Arashi required less nourishment to undergo the mutation path he wanted for his Spirit Soul!
Through this, a metamorphosis within the Spirit Soul was initiated.
With that in mind, Arashi transferred all the soul energy he had accumulated to Kyle before it rested inside Kyle's Soul vessel.
Arashi entered a similar state to hibernation, while passively absorbing the cultivation energies in the surrounding.
He turned it to soul force while being in the hibernation-like state.
This made things much easier for Kyle even though he lost Arashi as comrade-in-arms.
Kyle sensed that it would take a few days, at the very least, before Arashi's mutation would be completed.
It was slightly different from the last time Arashi mutated, but Kyle was perfectly fine with this.
'I should collect more soul energy and start nurturing Arashi's energy absorption and conversion paths. Their limiter has been increased!'
Before, the energy absorption and conversion paths of Arashi had reached their limit. However, the moment the mutation path had been filled to the brim, the limiter increased.
Kyle felt that this was quite advantageous because he could nurture these paths while Arashi was undergoing his transmutation.
With that in mind, Kyle first stored away all deadly honey bee corpses before his attention averted to the Bee Hive.
It was dangerous to let it stay near the capital because it was likely to be possible for a new Bee Queen to emerge.
Kyle didn't understand how it was possible, but there would always be a new Bee Quen when the old one died.
They could easily replace her, which was the most frustrating in the process of annihilating the Deadly honey bees.
That was also the reason why there was a decent price-money on their corpses from the Adventurer's guild.
Kyle was not exactly in need of money, but it wouldn't hurt to accumulate more.
Rather than hurting, it was quite helpful if he wanted to experiment a lot with forging.
Even more so if he didn't want to take away Beatrice's wealth for his selfish gains.
Both Beatrice and Yasmine were rich, to put it simply.
They had numerous treasures as well and there was no problem for them to waste their money buying anything.
It was not like they would ever waste their resources mindlessly, but in the end, it was a fact that he was the only one, who had the least cultivation resources and wealth.
Even Selene received a small piece of land and a little fortune when she returned to the Lahin kingdom as Baroness.
This was great for them, and Kyle was happy for all of them.
But even then, he would never ask them for anything if it was not necessary.
That was something his pride forced him, even though the three women would be more than willing to share their wealth with him.
It was plain stupid of him, and Kyle knew this very well.
Shaking his head, Kyle manifested two several-meter-long crescent wind blades.
One was rotated slowly, turning into a wind blade that was vertically located towards Kyle.
Taking another look at the Beehive, he nodded his head before using the surrounding wind. He turned them into a raging gust of wind, Kyle enveloped his two crescent wind blades with them.
A moment later the two crescent wind blades were blasted outwards, severing through the air, before cutting through the Bee Hives.
Precisely aiming at the points where the Beehive was connected to the huge tree, Kyle cut it off without hesitation.
It was far simpler than expected as the Beehive's structure was softer than predicted.
Thus, the huge construct that had the size of a three-floor house, lost its hold and crashed to the ground.
The moment it splattered on the ground, nearly all eggs of the deadly honey bees were killed, leading Kyle to shoot towards the Bee Hive only moments after it splattered on the ground.
Honeycombs, honey, and destroyed eggs were flung through the surrounding, but kyle simply blocked them off with his wind affinity.
Not a single drop of honey reached Kyle as he jumped in the sky.
A platform of wind emerged below him, holding the young man tightly as he looked over the crime scene he created.
He was not smiling and sighed deeply, clearly understanding that he had killed several thousand beings just to gain their Soul energy.
They might be dangerous for the capital, but telling this to himself wouldn't make it better.
After all, it was as if he was searching for excuses to kill.
In the end, Kyle knew that this might happen in the future, for the sake of nourishing Arashi, Selene or someone else.
This was ridiculous, but the more time passed, the less guilt did he feel about that fact.
The current era was simply too dangerous, and only the strong would survive.
It was as simple as that, and Kyle knew that he had to become much stronger.
He had encountered too many Old Souls to be able to remain calm, and level-headed.
The dangers that originated from the Old Soul were unknown, but Kyle didn't have a good feeling about the Guild master.
In Kyle's opinion, the entire Shalivra valley might belong to the Guild Master, and the very same person had found out about his existence.
This was not only burdensome but could also turn dangerous the moment he was seen as too dangerous by the Guild master!
Kyle's situation was certainly not pleasing, and he know that it was either do-or-die.
Maybe others wouldn't think that his situation was bothersome, but he was sure that his future was about to become far more dangerous than it was right now.
Kyle took that into consideration as he choose to give his all in order to nurture Arashi as quickly as possible.
Thus, he began to devour the Soul energy of all the deceased deadly honey bees around him. 𝒇𝒓eewe𝒃𝑛𝒐𝘃𝒆𝚕.co𝘮
In no time, his body was overflowing with Soul energy but Kyle never stopped devouring more of it.
Everything was used for Arashi, the Spirit Soul, and his goal to become as strong as possible in the quickest possible time.
Another hour passed before Kyle was done devouring all the Soul energy of the deceased.
It was a little bit odd, but the Souls took quite a while to detach from the body of the deceased, and it took even longer before they ascended in the air. It was as if something held them back.
He even destroyed the remaining eggs that had survived the Beehive's fall.
Afterward, he stored away everything, ready to seel the honeycombs for a horrendous high price.
However, there was no smile on Kyle's face.
It had simply vanished as he made his way through the forest.
There was no need for him to hold back anymore.
He was ready to do his all in order to improve, get stronger, and defeat everyone, who wanted to obstruct him in the path he had chosen to walk on.
And one means to become as strong as possible was to gain the most out of the Ancestor's treasury!
Both Yasmine and Selene should be able to improve a lot as well, which would be quite helpful in order to work together in a team.
Kyle knew that he had to nurture Selene a lot for this because she was already reaching the limits on how much more effort she could put in.
Her cultivation veins were simply too weak to turn her into a true prodigy. But that was something Kyle could change rather easily.
Kyle understood this as well, which was why he choose to nurture Selene in a more drastic way than previously desired.
This required unimaginable amounts of energy, which Kyle had to provide the Nurture ability in the following three months.
In fact, Kyle wanted that Arashi underwent his second evolution in the next few months.
However, this was rather difficult because Kyle realized only now that nurturing the energy absorption and the conversion paths was more difficult and energy-consuming than before.
They required lots of nourishment to improve even a little bit.
With that in mind, it was quite obvious that he would have to start hunting stronger beasts, with more Soul energy.
After all, the Bee Queen's soul energy had been equivalent to the Soul energy of more than 1500 Deadly honey bees!
This was simply insane, and it made the crux of the given situation quite clear for Kyle.
If he wanted to improve as quickly as possible, he had to face beasts that would endanger his lives or just masses of millions of beasts at a lower cultivation base!
There was no highly efficient way for situations in-between the two cases he imagined.
With that in mind, Kyle readied himself to prepare for hunting Peak Vitae stage beast groups, and loners at the Krysal stage!
However, to make all the necessary preparations, Kyle had to finish the hunting trip in the next few days as he had already planned everything!
