8. Teacher Xie’s Fanboys 🙂
Sun Zeyang stared at the scene of Li Hongxuan and Xie He locking lips and could not help but rub his eyes.
He must have been playing games too much these days—no, could it be that his excessive gaming caused him to develop dementia, thereby making him hallucinate the scene before his eyes? That man who was kissing with so much adoration was Li Hongxuan?!
Sun Zeyang shook. When he recalled how Li Hongxuan was always so aloof and had never been conquered before, how so many of his pursuers couldn’t get a simple glance in their direction even after figuratively knocking heads until they were bruised and broken…he couldn’t help but look at Xie He with a whole new level of respect.
To his surprise, it seems that he had underestimated this little white rabbit of a teacher. For him to get Li Hongxuan and Allen to rival for his affections…when he looked at him carefully, he was indeed a beautiful man. Tsk. He’s not simple, ah.
【Ding. Sun Zeyang’s Favourability Value +20. The current Favourability Value is 60.】
Sun Zeyang lamented inwardly. However, he didn’t forget his professionalism as an attendant. Seeing someone approach, he promptly coughed twice!
Li Hongxuan came back to himself. The expression in his eyes became indifferent once more as he let go of Xie He.
Xie He stared at him with a befuddled and frightened gaze. However, Li Hongxuan did not say anything. He simply walked away.
Sun Zeyang winked in Xie He’s direction, giving a wry smile before following after Li Hongxuan.
Xie He froze in place, stupefied. By the time he reacted, the entire matter had already ended, so he could only leave with a flushed face.
【444:Host dada, what are we going to do now, ne…you don’t have any excuse to go near him now! (⊙﹏⊙)b】Moreover, his Favourability Value is still -15.
【Xie He:Baby, it couldn’t be that you think that the previous opportunities had fallen from the sky and into my lap?】
【444:……】When I think about it, it really doesn’t seem so!
【Xie He, smiling:Opportunity has always been self-made. It is only the weak that will passively wait for an opportunity, so they can use the lack of one as an excuse for their failure.】
【444:(⊙o⊙) Oh.】
【Xie He:At this time, what we need to do is to return to the source of the problem. Help me track Xu Wenhao’s movements. 🙂 】
【444:Yi, and here I was thinking that you didn’t care about him in the least! 】
【Xie He:Of course I care. He’s an extremely important prop, ne. If nothing unexpected occurs, he is the breakthrough point.】
444: A prop…I really feel like this descriptor is a bit problematic. Was it his misconception? _(:3ゝ∠)_ Or was this to say that his Chinese wasn’t good? He decided to go back and revise.
Because of Li Hongxuan’s warning, Allen did not go to harass Xie He again. Even when they occasionally bumped into each other when he went to his classes, he would only greet him courteously at most. As for Li Hongxuan, he had always been a little lord who was too lazy to even greet others. Xie He was like air in his eyes.
On the contrary, there was Sun Zeyang, who would always beam at Xie He like they were old friends despite not knowing each other well. Only, he didn’t hold any designs towards Xie He. After all, he was the person Li Hongxuan had taken a liking to. Besides, he also did not lack bed partners! He absolutely would not let himself incur the unfortunate thing that was Li Hongxuan’s wrath! He only glanced at Xie He a couple more times, because he wanted to give Li Hongxuan face. Although he would not become his Saozi, it was uncertain whether Li Hongxuan might recall Xie He’s taste one day and want another go, ne…they were bound to see much of each other.
It had to be said though that Sun Zeyang’s planting of flags was particularly accurate.
Xie He’s days returned to normal as if he was nothing but an ordinary teaching fellow, attending and leaving class.
His beast-in-human-skin-like students had retracted their sharp fangs and had already become as distant as people from another world.
However, Xie He was not at all worried. He was like an extremely patient hunter and would silently track his prey’s movements, waiting for the most suitable opportunity to close in with the net, a one-hit KO. While other people were hunting him, little did they know that he was also hunting them.
From a certain angle, Allen and co. were truly his students. Teacher Xie did not mind educating them, allowing them to grow and mature by experiencing things themselves.
A month later, Xie He was completely clear about Xu Wenhao’s tracks.
Xu Wenhao was rather famous amongst the students. As a first year, he had entered the university as the top student, a proper scholar. Based on his stats, he should have been Mr. Perfect to the masses. However, his family circumstances weren’t good: his mother had passed away early, and his father was a gambling addict. Not only was he incapable of taking care of his son, but he also dragged him down&#k2026;if it wasn’t for Xu Wenhao working hard, he would have been destroyed early on.
Although his father was not a good thing, he did raise him, after all. Xu Wenhao was a typical person with a good conscience. He naturally would not neglect his father. He was forced into a position where he had no other choice. It wasn’t like he could watch as his father’s hands and feet were chopped off, ba? So, it was only at the point of desperation did he go looking for Sun Zeyang, helpless, wanting to borrow some money so that he could pay off his father’s debt.
Sun Zeyang would spend more than fifty thousand on a single meal, so he naturally wouldn’t care about this little sum of money. When he first lent Xu Wenhao money, it was naturally not because of Xie He. Furthermore, he had felt that Xu Wenhao had a hardworking spirit and perhaps would be useful later on, so he casually lent the money to him.
In the end, this chess piece was used against Xie He. He had been recalled by Sun Zeyang purely by chance.
That said, although his fifty thousand yuan debt had been written off in one stroke because of Xie He and had alleviated a lot of Xu Wenhao’s difficulties, it did not solve the root of the issue. This was because Xu Wenhao’s gambling addict of a father was a bottomless pit.
Fifty thousand would only take care of things for a very short period of time.
New debt would continuously be incurred. Those people knew that Xu Wenhao’s gambling addict of a father would not be able to get the money and that he had a profitable son. They would occasionally look for Xu Wenhao in order to demand repayment. Whatever they could get, they would get, causing Xu Wenhao to be uneasy. Xie He made a few inquiries and ended up with quite a few important pieces of information.
Afterwards, when Xu Wenhao was once again stopped by someone asking for repayment inside of one of the groves on campus, Xie He ‘coincidentally’ saw this from afar.
Xie He did not immediately go save his student. Instead, he walked towards the outside road and grabbed a student he knew, who had been passing by, and said, “Student Zhang, I’d like to trouble you with something. Professor Gao would like to see Li Hongxuan right now. Could I trouble you to holler and tell him that he must immediately see Professor Gao? Li Hongxuan ought to be in his room or in the self-study room!” That’s right, Xie He also tracked Li Hongxuan’s movements.
Student Zhang nodded, “OK. I’ll go now!”
“Thank you!” Xie He revealed a gentle smile towards him, “Originally, I was supposed to go, but I just received a call and have a last-minute matter to attend to. I’m really sorry for inconveniencing you.”
Student Zhang flushed upon seeing Xie He’s smile and said, “It’s no trouble, no trouble. I’ll be going now!”
Student Zhang quickly left while thinking about how good-looking and gentle Teacher Su was. No wonder so many little sisters secretly liked him! He really made people jealous of him yet they couldn’t actually be jealous of him, ne!
Xie He watched the student disappear into the distance with his eyes and then, entered the grove with a smile.
Professor Gao, who taught advanced mathematics, had academic authority, was strict, and was a person of virtue and prestige. He also really appreciated Li Hongxuan as a student and had expressed on more than one occasion that he would like to have a chance to chat with this student. Thus, this arrangement did not have any potential for inciting future trouble. Only, Xie He’s greatest reason for choosing Professor Gao was not because of this, but because one must pass this stretch of land in order to get to Professor Gao’s office building. However, there were many variables in this plan of his, but Xie He had already prepared various backup plans, including Professor Liu, Professor Li, the teacher in charge of his class, or his coach, etc. He had already deployed an inescapable net!
Wasn’t this a chance encounter on campus grounds? A trivial matter.
Xu Wenhao who was in the grove stood, donning an ugly expression. Before him stood three people, who were clearly not students, with large and powerful arms that were covered in tattoos.
After considering the fact that Xu Wenhao was a university student, the three people did not use violence. However, their words were unbearable to listen to. There were all sorts of threats—they were forcing him, step-by-step. As a student, Xu Wenhao had a lot of apprehensions and could not help but lower his head, face filled with grief and indignation.
Xie He did not plan on saving his student from these dire circumstances. His lips carried a smile as he watched this scene play out as if nothing was happening, right until he heard 444’s notification that Li Hongxuan was already 200 metres away. Only then did he tidy up his expression and make his way over!
“Who are you people?! What do you plan on doing, coming to the university!?” Xie He shouted. He stood in front of Xu Wenhao and raised his head to stare at the big men. His expression was a bit stiff—he was obviously very afraid, but he still gathered up his courage to intervene.
Xu Wenhao’s expression became even uglier. Teacher Su unexpectedly saw his deplorable side again. How would he think of him? Would he think that he was a bad student? Although his expression was indifferent, he actually did not want to be loathed by Teacher Su and could not bear to part with Teacher Su’s gentle consideration…he was a typical child who liked to say ‘no’ but was actually very honest at heart.
However, when he thought of his father, Xu Wenhao’s mouth was full of bitterness, and he still said, “Teacher Su, you don’t need to meddle in my business.”
“Why not?! These people don’t look like good people,” Xie He glared at him, “You don’t need to be afraid! They can’t do anything to you. This is school grounds! I’ll go call for the security guards!”
After these words were spoken, the expressions of the three guys were not very good. The gazes they used to look at Xie He became rather dangerous. The big fellow who was their leader said, “Youngster, you’re a teacher, ah, really couldn’t tell. Xu Wenhao said that you needn’t meddle in his business, so you don’t need to stubbornly stick your neck into this matter.”
“He’s definitely being threatened by you folks!” Xie He’s face was pale, and he was trembling slightly. However, he did not back down in the least.
Xu Wenhao was placed protectively behind Xie He. He saw this man whose shoulders were even more feeble than his, shielding him from the front. His eyes involuntarily and painfully heated up. He had been so impolite to Teacher Su, always treating his goodwill with contempt, yet he still came to protect him at such a critical time like before.
Even though he was clearly even more afraid than he was….
“Teacher Su, you leave quickly, ba,” Xu Wenhao grabbed onto Xie He’s shoulders, his tone softening as he whispered, “I’m really thankful to you but the matter this time…I’ll come explain things to you next time, OK?” He was afraid that these people would hurt Xie He and therefore, wanted to send him away quickly.
“No, I won’t abandon you,” Xie He shook his head, took a pause, and then said, “I-I know what happened…I’ve heard a bit about your situation….”
Xu Wenhao’s face darkened. That’s right, his situation wasn’t a secret or anything. He forced a laugh, “Since you know, then that’s even more of a reason for why you shouldn’t bother with me.”
Xie He gritted his teeth and spoke to the group of large fellows in front of them, “You ought to go look for his father and make him settle his own debt. In the future, don’t come looking for Xu Wenhao anymore!”
After he said this, the three men looked as if they had heard a hilarious joke and roared with laughter while clutching onto their stomachs. After laughing for what seemed like half the day, one of them said, “Hey, are you an idiot? Don’t you know the principle of the son is having to repay one’s father’s debt?”
“However, he’s still a student. He is unable to repay the debt. Even if you force him, he has no money,” Xie He was clearly very terrified but still raised his head, speaking with a clear and bright voice, “Even if you want him to help repay the debt, you must wait until he’s started working.”
Everyone fell silent for a few seconds, the atmosphere becoming strange. The gazes of those men was first, one of astonishment before becoming one of ridicule as if they were looking at some rare animal…the leader of the big fellows snickered mischievously at Xie He, “This teacher’s arguments are very reasonable.”
“Yes, ah, yes, ah,” The two people laughed so hard that they were close to crying, “His arguments really prove that he’s worthy of being a teacher!”
The leader continued speaking, “It’s just unfortunate that, one, we’re not good people. Two, we just want money and three, we can’t wait.”
He took a step forward and grabbed onto Xie He’s collar, raising him into the air as he spoke in a cold tone, “My patience is really limited. Since you don’t plan on getting the hell out of here, then I’ll be forced to make you.”
Xie He became alarmed and began to struggle.
Upon seeing this, Xu Wenhao’s vision reddened, and he pounced over, “Let go of Teacher Su!” However, before he could reach, he was grabbed, hands forced behind his back. He was only an ordinary student, how could he be a match for several hoodlums? He could only roar fiercely despite being weak, “You better not hurt Teacher Su!”
The leader looked at the two people as if watching little ants struggling in the palm of his hands and chuckled. He threw Xie He to the ground with great force!
Xie He, who had been thrown to the ground, watched as the man approached him, step by step. He was incapable of hiding the fear in his eyes.
It was at this time that he discovered Li Hongxuan standing beneath a tree, five metres away, with an indifferent expression as he watched everything happen.
Xie He widened his eyes in shock. At this instance, his eyes met with Li Hongxuan’s.
If it was Li Hongxuan…he would definitely have a way to settle this plight…he would definitely be able to help Xu Wenhao unlike himself, who was so useless!
It was not the first time Xie He had asked Li Hongxuan for help. He knew that he would have to pay a price for whenever he wanted Li Hongxuan’s aid but…at this moment, he had no other choice!
“Li Hongxuan!” Xie He shouted loudly, his moist, black eyes fixed themselves onto the other, and he pleaded for help wordlessly.
Li Hongxuan had actually already been watching things for a while now. When he passed by, he was attracted by Xie He’s voice.
Since last time, aside from attending class, he did not encounter Xie He again. He knew that Xie He was likely avoiding him. He didn’t mind, because he didn’t care about this stupid, cowardly idiot of a teacher. It was just that occasionally…he would recall the delicious taste of the teacher’s body, his laughable personality that made people look down on him, and the weeping, begging appearance of the teacher while under him. He would unexpectedly reminisce about it all.
Li Hongxuan did not think that he was the type to lose himself over sexual desire. However, he had no choice but to admit that he was a bit addicted after having a taste.
It was precisely because he was haunted by this beautiful and soft taste that he did not leave as though he hadn’t seen anything. Instead, he stayed behind.
Teacher was so weak and useless…if Teacher asked him for help again, he thought that he would still be willing to lend a hand and would gladly accept the transaction this time. However, for a second, he doubted whether or not Teacher would ask him for help. After all…to have to pay a price for the sake of an unfamiliar student, a normal person probably wouldn’t do that, ba?
When he was thinking that, he heard Teacher cry out his name.
Oh, he finally noticed him.
The corner of Li Hongxuan’s mouth carried an indiscernible smile. He didn’t know why, but he was a bit excited. The reason for why he had been wasting time, waiting here all along, was most likely so that he could hear Teacher call out his name, ba.
Li Hongxuan walked out from beneath the shadows.
He did not pay any attention to the other people on the scene. He leisurely strolled forward and walked until he stood before Xie He, tone profound, “Do you require my help?”
Xie He stood up from the ground, cutting a sorry figure, and said, “Yes.”
Li Hongxuan fixed his eyes on Xie He’s face. When he fell just now, Teacher’s chin had scraped across the ground and turned red. It was particularly eye-catching against his fair skin. If Xie He chose to fall into the palm of his hand again, he would never let anyone hurt him. Li Hongxuan revealed a faint smile and solemnly repeated once more, “Are you sure?”
Although he did not utter the specifics, his sharp, penetrating eyes had already expressed that his demand was going to be great.
Xie He could hear the implicit meaning behind Li Hongxuan’s words. His body stiffened, and he cast his gaze to Xu Wenhao, who was still struggling in the hands of others at this moment. His expression immediately became resolute. He earnestly looked at Li Hongxuan and said, “I’m sure. Please help him.”
He said ‘him’,’ not ‘me’.
Li Hongxuan’s pupils contracted. That ineffable happiness of his disappeared without a trace as if it had been scattered by a frigid wind. The expression in his eyes cooled down, but he still said, OK, ah.”
The two people’s nonchalant discussion had finally infuriated the trio. F*ck, we were ignored by a mere student!
The big fellow who had tossed Xie He to the ground cracked his knuckles as he walked over. He directed a callous smile towards Li Hongxuan, “Youngster, do you plan on meddling as well?”
Li Hongxuan smiled but did not respond. His long, narrow, and sharp eyes glanced at the man. In the next moment, he made an abrupt move!
The big fellow did not react in time and was kicked harshly in the stomach! That formidable force caused his stomach to churn as he was unexpectedly kicked back three metres by this student! Before he could get back on his feet, an elbow smashed into the bridge of his nose! Blood immediately spurted out, and everything went dark as he lost consciousness. Li Hongxuan blinked as he settled one in an anti-climatic, easy manner. He then turned to glance at the remaining two.
The remaining two were dumbfounded by what they just saw! They were used to students cowering before them. They had never seen such a violent and tough character before!
When they saw Li Hongxuan approach them, they suddenly felt a bit scared!
That effortless style, that powerful, explosive strength, that callous and indifferent expression—even on the backstreets, you wouldn’t find such a ruthless character! Their fighting strength was inferior to their boss. Thus, they didn’t think they could resist for even two seconds against this student, who had knocked down their boss. Moreover, they were on school grounds right now…should they choose to get knocked out and sent to the local police station or chose to admit defeat?
The two people exchanged glances and unhesitatingly chose to admit defeat!
They hastily released Xu Wenhao and spoke in a mocking tone, “If you have something to say, then use your words. Use your words!”
“Oh?” Li Hongxuan raised a brow, looking at them in disdain, “What do you want to discuss?”
“Nothing! This is a misunderstanding! We’ll be taking our leave! Sorry!” The two people pulled their boss to his feet and cautiously snuck a peek at Li Hongxuan. Seeing that he did not intend to stop them, they gladly ran off.
Xu Wenhao stood there, stupefied. He hadn’t yet registered what just happened.
He knew Li Hongxuan. Li Hongxuan, this type of person, was someone who belonged to a world very different from his. Even Sun Zeyang, who he thought was eminent and unapproachable, was reduced to the background when Li Hongxuan was around….
He had never thought that Li Hongxuan would help him. However, Xu Wenhao was mindful of his manners and came over to speak, “Thank you!”
Li Hongxuan laughed quietly, “No need to thank me. Thank Teacher Su, ba.”
Xu Wenhao nodded. It was only natural to thank Teacher Su! He walked towards Xie He and looked at him with a grateful and apologetic gaze, “Teacher Su, sorry. I even got you involved.”
Xie He was still in pain, but he saw that the danger had been settled. Thus, he was extremely happy and looked at Xu Wenhao gently, “It’s fine. It’s good that you are OK.”
Xu Wenhao fixed his eyes onto Xie He for a long time before he whispered, “I don’t know how I should thank you…I’ve repeatedly troubled you with my own affairs…” Clearly, they were not familiar, but Teacher had stepped forward bravely for his sake repeatedly. This kind of teacher made his frozen heart thaw, reminding him that there were still some beautiful existences within this world.
“No need to thank me, ah. It is only expected that Teacher helps you out,” Xie He smiled, his eyebrows curving, eyes soft.
As soon as Xu Wenhao saw this, he fell speechless.
【Ding. Xu Wenhao’s Favourability Value +20. The current Favourability Value is 80.】
Li Hongxuan’s eyebrows furrowed upon seeing this harmonious scene. He didn’t know why, but he felt jittery and directly walked between them. With his back towards Xu Wenhao, he exposed a warning glance towards Xie He and spoke insipidly, “We should leave.”
Xie He’s expression immediately cowered, but he didn’t dare disagree. Thus, he told Xu Wenhao, “Teacher has some matters to attend to. Y-you quickly go back, ba. Next time, don’t pay any attention to those people.”
Xu Wenhao’s smile was rather forced. He didn’t have a choice regarding these matters, but he didn’t want Teacher to worry about him again, so he nodded, “I understand.”
Only then did Xie He reveal a gratified expression.
Li Hongxuan did not have the patience to wait any longer. He grabbed Xie He’s arm and pulled him away.
Xie He rushed to keep pace with him. Li Hongxuan walked very urgently. From beginning to end, he did not utter a word. Xie He felt a bit apprehensive. He didn’t know how he had offended him, but the other seemed to be quite angry?
After walking for a period of time, Xie He realized that they were leaving school grounds. He asked in a small voice, “Student Li, w-where do you want to go? Don’t you have to meet with Professor Gao?”
Heh…right now, what was more important than receiving his reward?
Once he thought of Teacher’s body, his desire began to stir.
Li Hongxuan turned his head around and looked at the other man with a deep gaze. His voice was low, and his mouth curved into a derisive smile, “Of course, we’re heading to a hotel. It couldn’t be that Teacher likes doing it in our dorm? It’s not like we can’t do it there.”
